A friendly and helpful welcome, the room was very clean and spacious with adequate facilities. Immediate access to city centre and student area location was not a problem. This is a b&b not a hotel. Parking is a problem. Sat-nav use Via de' Castagnoli, not Largo Respighi.
We were made to feel very welcome at Casa llaria. Location was great - right in amongst the exciting student area of Bologna - a beautiful and not too touristy city. A great sense of the medieval in Bologna. We could have done with some advice about good places to eat, as we looked around the back streets for a long time before finding a few restaurants as opposed to cafes. A list of suggested restaurants, a simple map showing location would be a great advantage.
Paolo is so friendly. He speaks English very well. The room is very clean.
very charming house, clean, nice breakfast, lovely swimming pool.
Great rooms and very welcoming owners. We stayed in one of the biggest double bedrooms I have ever seen- real rustic charm with all mod cons thanks to a recent renovation. You will benefit from having a car to explore Ferrara and the surrounding area, but much nicer than staying in town. Breakfast was simple but above the normal Italian standard.
Very nice swimming pool, friendly staff. You need a car if you stay here. Shame that there did not seem to be any obvious countryside walking areas.
Very comfortable room. Attractive terrace where a very enjoyable breakfast is served. Owners very friendly and helpful.
friendly owners, good breakfast, nice private swimmingpool, adequate parkingspace, working airconditioning. You can not go to Ferrara on foot, you need a car.
Don't be fooled into thinking Room and Breakfast means low quality. The Corte dei Goighi is better than many 4 star hotels with the added advantage of rustic charm and the experience of traditional rural Italian life so close to the beautiful city of Ferrara. Highly recommended.
The owners and staff were so helpful and friendly and made the stay just about perfect. We will definitely be coming back.
Proximity to centre. Premium rate due to exhibition. One would otherwise never pay this rate, for this hotel.
The location was very good We were awaken at 8 am by building works next door, we were never informed of this and when we complained the explanation was that "it was Monday" and also " it was because we chose non smoking rooms". This was unacceptable, and we should have been informed in advance of the expected noises at that time, it is the first time I am awaken in a hotel by buliding works.
Ever so central, verrrrry clean and helpful staff especially the male receptionist. Phone in room wasn't working & we badly needed to make a phone call home the very day we arrived.
The staff were very helpful, Room was basic but clean comfortable and adequate, Breakfast simple but plentiful and the location very central. There is a little renovation required here and there - window frame
We liked the personal touch conveyed by the staff - and the very central address of the hotel
nothing - constant building works, very small room - typical single room " stick them in a cupboard" , bed hard, hardly anything in English - good job i know Italian. I certainly would not recommend it.
It's very convenient location to centro city Bologna. The hotel made a nice base for exploring the city, Internet connection should be included. Wireless signal in my room was weak and I could have connected although I was unwilling to pay extra for it even though the rate was reasonable. I was able to connect gratis via cable in the breakfast room and the staff were very helpful in arranging this. It just wasn't especially convenient.
Great location for shops and eating out Breakfast was poor
Location was easy walking distance to the train station. The staff was very accommodating. Rooms were clean. Comfortable beds.
It is very central and ideal if you intend to do some shoping as it is just of the main street The raid where it is located is a bit dirty.
