Pros: Breakfast was top class...Hospitality was brilliant.
Pros: The children lived the pool. Unfortunately the last morning they cleaned it so it was not accessable. Spacious room. With 5 beds.
Pros: Lovely house and gardens. Remote, nearest restaurant shop or bar 3 or 4 miles away. Nice pool. Hosts very friendly.
Pros: Wonderful wooden caravan!
When you stay at Arts et Remparts in La Reole, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Île de Mijema. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Limited parking is available onsite.
Pros: Very stylish Helpful host
Pros: Quintessential townhouse in a quiet street in the characterful town of La Réole. The name of the house attests to the beautifully decorated interior, alive with the owner's wonderful art collection. A very peaceful and charming residence to spend a night on a long drive.
Cons: We arrived at the house on the 15th August, the Feast of the Assumption, and therefore a Public Holiday in France. And of course, in no way the fault of the owner of Art et Remparts, most of the businesses in the town were closed. However, there was very little comfortable seating in our room to compensate.
Pros: delightful room, lovely garden, very interesting little town. Wholeheartedly recommend it.
Cons: Very little choice of restaurant on a Sunday evening!
Pros: Gorgeous house with a lovely garden. Very welcoming and couldn’t be more helpful with our bikes. Fantastic breakfast.
Pros: A good location in the town; storage for our bikes in the garage; a large, well-furnished room; a good (continental) breakfast to set us up for our cycling. The garden looked lovely, although the weather was a bit too chilly for us to take advantage of it. Michel, the host, was charming and very helpful.
Cons: We only found one restaurant in La Reole that was open and serving a reasonable selection of food in the evening; this is in no way the fault of the property (obviously), just a comment on the eating facilities in the town.
Pros: A lovely ancient - perfectly renovated - house in the heart of La Reole. If you like antique furniture and discussing about history, this is the place for you.
Pros: This turned out to be one of the best stays we have ever had in 25 years of travels. La Reole is a medieval "Bastide" village with the Garonne flowing by, the property is in the old quarter within a few steps of almost everything going on - and there's lots of that. The garden of the house backs onto one of the defensive ramparts of the town, the interior is full of art - paintings, sculpture, tapestries, furniture etc, with polished wood floors. We chose a large bedroom to the rear, with a huge bed, sofa, wardrobe, desk, rugs etc, views over the town, and a bath/shower room with separate toilet. Everything immaculate. Excellent breakfast in French style - and a garage! Your own ability to speak French would complete the experience, as the host's English is limited, and he is a very interesting person. This historic town is full of character, and full of wonderful buildings, many of which appear to have been untouched. And polish up your history - Richard the Lionheart got here before you! The tourist office in the town has very enthusiastic staff, very helpful and knowledgeable, and well-worth visiting. Go there!
Cons: We thought about this, but could come up with nothing to be said, we felt it was as near perfect as we could ever have wished-for.
Pros: Lovely garden, huge bedroom, perfect location.
Cons: Parking is in a narrow street which goes with the central location, may be an issue for some people.

The accommodation was fine, the pool excellent - very clean and a good size - the food, breakfast and table d'hote, super, and our host Patrick very friendly, helpful and full of good advice about things to do, places to go and the local wines. He obviously loves his work!
Cons: There was nothing we did not like.

Pros: Super house in lovely location in the Entree Deux Mers region . Owners very friendly and helpful. Superb swimming pool . Excellent food , and especially the home cooked dinner by the patron.
Cons: No Air conditioning or TV in the room .
Pros: Really friendly, very comfortable. A great place to stay
Cons: Garden is a bit messy
Pros: The owners were extremely kind and helpful and could not do enough to please. There is a bedroom, large bathroom and also a generous lounge and kitchen area. We were very comfortable.
Cons: Unfortunately the only place to eat nearby was at a kebab and pizza house, so you may need a car if you want more choice.
Pros: Friendly welcome, great staff, quiet comfortable rooms, lovely buildings and garden, secure bike storage, Patric’s excellent dinner (very reasonable extra cost), very good breakfast

Pros: The property was in a great location, and the staff were so friendly. If you like peace and quiet with a splash of history with French life ( it is a converted nunnery) near a park with great views, then this is the place for you! I really fell on my feet choosing this place! As I picked it at random on my way travelling to Spain,
Cons: Nothing, they nailed it with costumer service, cleanliness, and a welcoming feel.
Pros: The staff were wonderful.
Pros: Our room was big enough for us two, very clean and simple. Bath and toilet room was also very clean. In a way, we felt that the room was undervalued.
Cons: I do not mean "I did not like", but I spent good 10 min to find the entrance door for the Hotel. That was probably the door was just next to the church.
Pros: Everything, from moment I walked in I felt at home great staff on arrival.
Cons: Nothing to dislike just remember it’s next to the church.

Pros: An excellent restaurant with a few well appointed rooms
Pros: Tranquil, very comfortable room and very good facilities that provided all we needed and more
Pros: Everything was lovely we enjoyed a 3 course meal
Cons: I don't know if they get many English visitors if not that’s fine but if they do it would be nice if the menu was in English but if they don’t I fully understand not doing that
Pros: Okay.... there is a reason why L'Abricotier has the such great reviews for the restaurant as it's well worth a visit. There were 6 of us and as a result a lot of happy noises coming from around the table as we savoured each forkful! The room was comfortable and the location is excellent to explore the wonderful town of Saint Macaire.
