10.0 Excellent
Pros: Colin is a dying breed in today’s world being an true Gentleman and a great host. His stunning establishment attracts equally lovely guests, which makes the stay an absolute joy. Little gems like this often get ignored or overlooked for big brands, so I felt very fortunate to have found this one. This offered amazing value in a stunning location. Most definitely will be returning. Excellent all round. Thank you Colin for providing a gorgeous place to stay. Scott
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I have now stayed at this little gem several times in the last year for when I work in the area. Anyone who needs an exquisite place to stay in the Humber area, including Hull itself, I can recommend this without hesitation. The quality of everything is so consistent. Breakfast is better than in a lot of 5 star hotels I stayed. The bar of lounge where you can have a drink is very well stocked with all sorts. This is so nice after a long day of work. You have to experience this for yourself. Service cannot be improved in my opinion. There are a few good local restaurants within 1-2 min walk. Humber Bridge just down the road. I have recommended Bardney Hall to several colleagues and they are also hooked now :-)
Cons: cannot suggest any improvements … and I am used to stay in 5 star hotels.

1.0 Poor
Pros: Location; proximity to bus and train station.
Cons: The staff asked us to be eco-friendly and use our towels more than one day. The staff folded our very WET towels up and put them back on the rack. So when we went to use them they were cold and wet. The food was horrible and the waitress was sloppy.

Pros: Beautiful rooms, great location and friendly and helpful staff.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Room was larger and more comfortable than expected, with a sofa as well as two easy chairs and a table. Very comfortable bed, and a v quiet location looking out onto inner courtyard garden. Pros: Staff where very helpful and polite
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Surprisingly quiet. Very plush and comfortable. To be honest we only booked to stay here (after the wonderful Humber Street Sesh festival) as cheaper options were full, but very glad we did. Would definitely stay again.
Cons: Was disappointing that the rooftop bar was closed, even to residents, for a private party after 10pm. But as it seemed to be for Liam Gallagher we were prepared to let them off! Parking charge (£10 for 24 hours) was steep for Hull, especially given the 100 metre walk round to hotel reception.
5.5 Okay
Pros: It was clean
Cons: The staff were not very helpful, the room was way over priced, hardly any facilities for the money spent for the room. Aircon didn’t work properly, the sink didn’t work properly.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room and hotel were very modern and furnishings all lovely. Staff were not overly enthusiastic, but they were genuine and very helpful.
Cons: Although the room was lovely, the mattress was hard and the pillows were very poor. We have been staying in a few hotels this trip and fluffy pillows and sumptious mattresses are a must in a nice hotel. There were a few crumbs left from previous guests on the carpet when we arrived.

A good menu, including a daily special, with well cooked food and plenty of it. Didn't have breakfast, so can't comment.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location, walking distance from all the best bits of old town. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Lovely reception area with good coffee and snacks, with 'honesty box' Made my stay very pleasant, thank you
Cons: It's always obvious when places are designed by men: Im all in favour of energy-saving devices, but clearly the automatic timings for the shower to go off (after 20 seconds before pushing in again), and bathroom light to go off (5 mins), needs to reconsider - it's not fun standing in the cold and dark when having a shower! Equally, there are no power sockets near mirrors - needed when using a hair dryer on long hair.

Pros: The room was beautifully styled in a period building. I had everything I needed and the shower was powerful and refreshing. A wonderful location. I enjoyed an evening stroll along the estuary to the country park. There was no road noise. Comfy bed and a super 8 hours sleep. Many thanks
Cons: I expect continental breakfast to include cheese and ham and maybe pastries which were not available. There was a good selection of fruit, toast and preserves and cereals though so I wasn't hungry.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was modern, spotlessly clean. A little small but it was only for sleeping so it didn,t matter. Lovely big TV too.. It has tea and coffee facilities which is essential for the likes of me who loves a cuppa. It was a continental breakfast, which suited us, cereal, toast, cooked meat, cheese, coissants, crumpets, muffins. All lovely. It's location in the Old Town was perfect for short walks to marina and museum quarter. Also a short walk to city centre. The most surprising thing is that the rooms are above a pub. It was busy and friendly pub, So I was worried that it may be noisy. But I need not have worried. the rooms are on the top (2nd) floor and although you have to go through the pub to get to the rooms we never head a thing. We slept very well. Lovely trip. Hull itself has a lot to offer.Highly recommend.
Cons: Volume on telly was restricted. Or maybe I am a bit deaf!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Room was lovely! Very clean!
Cons: The noise outside!

Pros: Bed and pillows very good.
Cons: The single glazing! Didn't appreciate that a central city pub/hotel would be so noisy. My bad!

Pros: It is close to the City Hall.
Cons: The room was very small.

Pros: Perfect city centre location. Comfortable, clean, modern furnished room. Cheerful, helpful staff. Wonderful range of items for continental breakfast.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great, as was the location. The hosts were superb; made you feel instantly at home and they could not do enough for you. My Son and I could not fault it - and we are definitely planning on going back. A home from home - and a real gem ! I went with my, soon to be 21 year old, Son - the combination of which does not appear to be catered for within any of your above categories - and neither do any of your categories within your above Bonus Question either (to me at least).
Cons: Nothing.
