Pros: From the road it looked like a small home. Then we saw the house and garden at the rear. Only it was not a garden it was a magnificent parkland extending for easily 100 metres (plus). Our stone built studio apartment was absolutely silent at nights and our host extremely congenial.
Cons: Having to leave
Pros: Very welcoming host, secure parking, drinks on arrival on the terrace, bedroom very large and comfortable, bathroom large with walk-in shower, separate loo with washbasin, lovely large garden, good breakfast with fried eggs on offer. Very friendly cocker spaniel!
Pros: Our hosts were lovely! Very fiendly and chatty and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is a lovely house in a lovely quiet spot
Pros: The owners were lovely. Excellent breakfast. Good value, beautiful garden, very secure for children and pets.
Cons: All good.
Pros: Dream luxury place in the middle of nature... You need to have a car to see around, but the place itself is quite, peaceful and very romantic... It is perfect for a relaxing get away...
Pros: Fantastic service, really friendly couple who love what they do. Very accommodating and helpful. Lovely garden, peaceful, quiet, and beautiful room with everything you need - comfortable bed and awesome shower. Delicious breakfast. They look after you and go the extra mile. We arrived on our motorbike and they allowed us to park the bike just meters from our room, and even made space for us to put the bike overnight. Totally recommend and excellent value for money.
Pros: Amazing experience. Their hospitality has no price, the room is extremely comfortable and quiet. Highly recommended!
Pros: Hosts and quality in general.

Pros: Puiseaux is a lovely town. The Maison Rose a wonderful place to stay. Our hosts Dominique and Veronique were very welcoming and charming. The Maison Rose is a lovely house with wonderful features and a beautiful garden. It was quite and relaxing. I would strongly recommend staying here.
Pros: We chose to have our evening meals in the property and they were excellent. Dominique and Veronique are delightful hosts and we spent many convivial hours together around the dining table which greatly added to the enjoyment of our stay.
Cons: Nothing negative to report
Pros: Great Location. Great Host
Cons: Squeeky bedroom floors
Pros: A lovely family and a nice garden.
Pros: The owners run this personally. If you ask you can also have dinner at the location. Very nice house. Good talk with owners and others guests. Spacy rooms, 300year old French house. Bed comfortable, bathroom spacious. I recommend staying here!
Cons: Wifi is really really slow. just enough for e-mail. Parking is a little difficult, but there is enough space within a short walk.
Pros: Attractive garden for sitting outside, large and very comfortable bed. Good breakfast with more than the standard fare- French toast, pancakes, homemade yoghurt.
Pros: The owners of the property are extremely nice and helpful, breakfast is great. They will assist in any way they can. House is filled with nice refurbed antiques, very stylish

Pros: We liked everything! The location, the house, the room, the breakfast, the host - but above all we appreciated the coziness, the great attention to details, the comfort and the cleanliness.
Pros: Great room in a wonderful historic property. Lovely owners. Tranquil setting.
Cons: Not applicable!!!!!
Pros: The breakfast was amazing with home made jams, fruit picked from the grounds and lots of fresh coffee.
Pros: Amazing breakfast! Lovely property in a beautiful location
Pros: This beautiful French county-inn type property (similar to a carriage-house), was perfect in every way. The rooms were immaculate, the perfectly appointed French-country décor was beyond charming and the setting was simply breathtaking. Our host was extremely gracious and the lavish breakfast presentation was very special. This venue was a memorable highlight to our trip to France.
Pros: Lovely B&B, worth a detour! Beautiful house, quiet surroundings, fantastic breakfast, very large garden with a very nice pool.
Pros: Lidie is the nicest person. She is welcoming, thoughtful and very kind. We had a problem with one of our bicycles and she phoned a repair shop 15 kilometers away and then put the bike in her car and drove us there, waited for the repair to be done, which took 45 minutes, and then took us back to her superb accommodation. As we didn’t have a car, she arranged the taxi and restaurant reservations for us but also offered to make dinner for us if we didn’t want to go out. Breakfast was so good. Our room was very comfortable and cosy. The grounds around the B and B were large and relaxing. The pool was not open, as it was too cool yet. Still, this is an excellent place to stay and we would go back in a heartbeat.
Cons: Nothing, but a car would be handy next time.

This hotel has facilities measuring 0 square feet (0 square meters), including conference space. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The Chateau was magnificent and a great venue for a celebratory event. Breakfast was varied, plentiful and enjoyable. The staff were excellent, being very pleasant and most obliging. Even though at an extra cost the Spa was luxurious with many features.
Cons: Nothing to dislike
Pros: Nice chateau with all amenities. Beautiful room with high ceilings. Nice grounds with golf course. Easy free parking. Romantic dinner.
Cons: We heard the people in the room next door coughing all night. Bed has 2 twin beds so we fell in the crack. Shower water wasn’t quite so hot first thing in the morning. Dinner was decent. Foie gras just ok. Prices were expensive for dinner. 128 Euros for 2, and that’s just with 2 entrees and one starter, and one glass of wine.
Pros: The restaurant was amazing the staff were helpful
Cons: Walking across to the restaurant from the accommodation in heels as it's quite uneven
Pros: What can we say about staying at a chateau?! It was lovely, the accommodations were excellent and spacious.
Pros: Very nice staff though. Worth mentioning it. They do their best. Nice location in the golf.
Cons: We had a room outside of the main castle. A bit old. Air conditioning was broken and there was an electric heater in the room. Definitely not at the level of a 5 stars hotel. We might have been unlucky but I won't come back. Do not misunderstand me, overall not bad but worth 200 EUR not the 415 EUR we paid for one night. With 5 stars you expect no less than perfection.
Pros: Location, golf
Cons: We were staying in the Deluxe room, but we couldn’t go to the restaurant without reservation anytime (we saw lots of unoccupied tables) Bad coffee, no croissants- petit dejeuner
Pros: Lovely room with view and lovely bathroom
Cons: No public spaces. Nowhere to sit comfortably either outside or inside other than when having a meal in the restaurant. Huge grounds all devoted to golf course. Nowhere to stroll, no swimming pool. At €300 per day I was expecting more than a lovely bedroom
When you stay at Les Sapins in Vitry-aux-Loges, you'll be 12 minutes by car from Loire Marine Museum. Featured amenities include multilingual staff, microwave in a common area, and refrigerator in a common area. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: It was quaint ! Monsieur bicycling off to get the bread!
Pros: A beautiful traditional French guesthouse, which is lovely inside and out. Set in peaceful surroundings. Our host was very welcoming.
Pros: Breakfast was excellent and the environment is peaceful
Cons: Being informed by the hosts that they would not be home before 6 pm, we took it a bit easier and arrived at 8.15 pm, only to find that nobody was there. Knowing that our room was the last one of the front facade, we entered. The first glimpse of the hosts was the next morning, not the happiest moment because of a number of reasons: - There are obligations going with keeping a B&B. In the unique case that you can't be available on arrival, inform the visitors beforehand in an acceptable way. - In the information about our room, we had read "refrigerator, microwave, dresing-room, wake-up srvice, terrace, lake view", but could not discover any of these facilities, so much so that we started believing we were in the rong room. Besides, we had chosen "Les Sapins" because we would have a refrigerator. - To be able to get into the very tiny enclosed shower, you had to turn sideways, lacking all comfort - Under "Important information" we read "swimming-pool is closed from Wed 01 May until Monday 30 September". We went to check and found it indeed cLosed. Is it open in winter? When after breakfast we informed the hostess about the fridge with the room we had booked, she gave the impression not to know what was written in their own website with booking.com... Was it then booking.com who invented all these facilities?
With a stay at Les Viviers Bed and Breakfast, you'll be centrally located in Puiseaux, within a 15-minute drive of Towers of Boulancourt and Malesberbes Church. Featured amenities include a library and coffee/tea in a common area.
Pros: Lovely renovated room. Our host fabulously helpful and knowledgable about what to visit. Lovely breakfast too.
Pros: Breakfast here was first class.
Cons: Disappointed looked more upmarket on the website. Location okay but lacked places to eat.
Pros: The host was super lovely and the breakfast was great!
Pros: Wonderful warm welcome, beautiful comfortable room, and delicious breakfast
Located in Pithiviers, La Scala is within a 15-minute walk of Church of St. Salomon and St. Gregory and Pithiviers Tourist Railway. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, dry cleaning/laundry services, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Okay. it is close to the center. Nice TV. Nice WiFi for free.
Cons: You pay € 9,- per breakfast. You eat in your room. You get one Croissant, one quarter of a baguette, two pieces of butter and two small glasses of Marmalade. You have to make the coffee by yourself in the room. The Restaurant, italian style, was not to be recommended. You pay too much for very average food.
Pros: Upgraded to a suite as it was more convenient with the bikes.
Cons: Very late check in time on the day we arrived.
Pros: The restaurant within the hotel was very nice and served really good food.
Cons: The breakfast process is not good. A bread roll and a croissant is delivered to a table outside the rooms each morning. You then use the items form your room fridge to assemble your own breakfast, very impersonal.
Pros: Location is good and staff helpful when asked
Cons: This is basically a restaurant with a few rooms on top.We had to ask for everything.Stall obliged but they were really waiters in the restaurant.Food there was very average and floors needed cleaning Aircon in the room didn't work Not good value for money and will definitely itely not go there again
Pros: It was comfortable and clean with a small kitchenette. It was only a short walk to the centre of Pithiviers.
Cons: The restaurant downstairs was closed the day we were there. There was a small kitchenette in the room which we could not use as there was no kettle, no pans and virtually no china. Very odd.
The Chateau de Chicamour is located in Sury-aux-Bois, close to the forest of Orléans. It offers spacious guest rooms, each with a private bathroom, TV and free Wi-Fi. The Chicamour’s restaurant serves traditional French cuisine, which can be enjoyed on the hotel’s shaded terrace. Guests can also relax with a drink in the bar. There is also a garden and a riding school attached to the hotel. Rooms at the Chateau De Chicamour overlook the surrounding garden and forestland.
Pros: setting, peacefulness, dinner al fresco,
Cons: heat! could include a little fan to distribute the air in the bedroom, could include tea making facility.
Pros: Excellent hotel with welcoming, friendly staff. Dinner was extremely delicious and good value for money. Good location for visiting the Loire valley chateaux.
Pros: Beautiful, traditional small chateau in lovely grounds at a very reasonable price
Cons: no tea making facilities in the bedroom, and there didn't seem to be a bar.
Pros: Lovely setting, rooms tastefully decorated. Breakfast was good, lots of choice.
Cons: Loved the hotel accomodations. However, dinner in the restaurant was not a big succes; grumpy waiter, very mediocre quality food.
Pros: The location of the hotel
Cons: Interior is old and worn down.
Pros: Chateau de Chicamour was a fantastic experience! Excellent value for money, super quiet hotel, and in the morning you'll be woken up by the birds. Magic! Very relaxing. It was worth the extra 30 kms we drove to experience it!
With a stay at Hôtel de l'Ecu de France in Malesherbes, you'll be a 3-minute walk from Malesherbes Town Hall and 7 minutes by foot from Malesberbes Church. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Nice and clean everywhere....... Good food and attentive staff. Nice stay.
Pros: Traditional hotel in lovely quiet town. Restauarant was really very good. Great Building, very quirky with attentive staff.
Cons: Rooms were a bit warm, chairs at desks in room were not great for working at, but it is not a business hotel, so probalbly a bit unfair to complain.
Pros: The apartment contained everything we expected and the bedroom was comfortable.
Cons: The most surprising and very disappointing thing was the location of the apartment. At no Point was it specified that the apartment was not in the hotel grounds in fact it is a 5 minute walk away in a street location. Upon check in we were told to follow the receptionist and marched through the streets wondering where on earth we were going. We arrived at a less than impressive front door which led to a corridor where a few apartments were based. I enquired as to whether they had a room available in the hotel as I want happy with the location but was advised it was full. This apartment would not be at all suitable for elderly or less mobile if they wanted to use the facilities of the hotel on a regular basis. The car parking is outside the hotel you cannot park near the apartment as it is restricted parking on the road. The location made me feel uneasy as we were 2 ladies and a child and usually like the safety of a hotel. I would not have booked the apartment if I had known it’s location. We chose not to take the breakfast option or use the restaurant. There was a garden area but this is shared with the other apartments. Bathroom wasn’t very private as the glass doors were slightly see through. The second bed was the sofa which was ok but took up the whole living area. I had amended my stay via booking.com and had confirmation that I would be checking out 1 night earlier with a revised cost. When we went to pay and check out they tried to charge me the extra night I showed them the confirmation but was basically told that they hadn’t been told so no I had to pay for the additional night. I refused and after an uncomfortable stand off the management agreed to reduce the cost to the price I had on my confirmation.
Pros: Nothing at all !
Cons: I booked a room in the hotel, but they gave me an apartment wich was not in the main body of the hotel, but it is detached (even if it is a few hundred meters away) and this has not been reported; the apartment is in a poorly reduced and smelly building; the interior is dirty (furnitures, bath towels, bed linen and so on); the toilet is housed in an open space between the living room / kitchen (let's call it that) and the bedroom, so if someone has to go to the wc he must beg the others not to leave the rooms where they are, as when they open the door of the room in which they are they directly enter in the wc room!!)...
Pros: Delightful staff although got the impression (occasional slowness) that they might be a little overworked. Stunning, stunning food.
Cons: The apartment (away from the main hotel) did the job perfectly well. The layout wasn't perfect (loo/bathroom between sitting room and bedroom) and kitchen was basic. But it was great for a night.
Pros: Bathroom not perfectly cleaned. Any toilette product. Definitely not a suite standing. Not worthy for the price.
Pros: The rooms were adequate but the hotel could do with updating. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel. The hotel was clean, the bed comfortable and the room adequate.
Cons: We arrived on a Sunday after 4 pm so there was no reception or open dining facility. The rooms were on the 1st floor and there is no elevator. The parking available for the hotel is not secured.

Pros: Nice staff great location and beautiful food
Pros: Convenience of the location and the staff was nice & helpful
Cons: The bath tube wasn't really easy to get in and water was spreading all over the bathroom.
Pros: Excellent stopover location for our journey south from the Channel Tunnel. It’s a traditional hotel in a pretty small town. The room was good and we enjoyed the meals ( dinner and breakfast)
Pros: We have stayed at this hotel on an overnight stop for perhaps the last 6 years. We always receive a friendly welcome, the rooms are comfortable and the evening meal has always been of a high standard, and this year was no exception.
Cons: The croissants were a little too 'heavy' and stodgy for our taste.

Pros: Staff were polite and helpful. Room was very comfortable. Breakfast was adequate.
Cons: The restaurant is only open on certain days. Not the day I was staying. Particularly didn't want to go out once checked in.
Pros: Good restaurant, staff friendly and helpful. Located between Fontainebleu and Orleans with easy access to both. Good value for the money. Large grounds and dog friendly.
Pros: Everything!! The bed was very comfortable.
Pros: Very nice rooms, and staff very accommodating to the demands of two very tired children and two frazzled parents.
Pros: Was clean, comfortable & quiet; parking close by.
Cons: Showering facility very difficult to use - meant water spilled from bath screen on to floor. Extract fan not working. Service access to pipework left open under basin with no cover.
Pros: The hotel was situated in a quiet location, but easy to find, after a long drive. The staff were welcoming and the rooms comfortable. The food was good.
Cons: The restaurant service was poor
Pros: The general level of comfort and decor. The friendleness of the staff was very good and it was certainly very clean. I also liked the obvious choice of good quality fitting out i.e bathroom facilities, a good - hot and simple shower - high spec windows, let you know that quality was a goal. So often enonomies make hotel rooms look cheap and shabby - not so here.
Cons: The room proportions could have been a little more generous - it was small. We could also have done with in-room tea & coffee facilities.
Pros: friendly and helpfull staff verry clean and well presented rooms, very good evening meal and breakfast
Cons: no english speaking tv chanels
Pros: Close to Pithiviers. Easy to find. Crisp bed linen. Modern Bathroom. Some English spoken. Friendly Staff.
Cons: Triple room quite small.

Pros: Lots of privacy, enough space, spacious garden.
Cons: Breakfast was very limited with 1 bread for 3 days and the dogs poop and pee in the yard.
Cons: We we're not told when we booked that there was a problem with the water. They took our money and never mentioned a problem. When we went to go to bed no water to shower or brush our teeth, my husband had to get a bottle of water to use. We had hiked all day and had hoped to take showers we did at least clean our feet with bottled water. Feel like we should have been given the option to cancel for free since they had already taken our money with no way to cancel.

Pros: Clean friendly hotel in a lovely French town.
Pros: Friendly welcome on our late-ish arrival. (9.30pm after booking at 8.30pm) A panic, last minute search for somewhere to stay as darkness fell.
Cons: Quite basic, but clean. No food available on arrival at 9.30pm, but a Chinese restaurant across the road was shutting and gave us a carry out!!
