10.0 Excellent
Pros: I stayed here with my partner for a couple of days and it wasn't long enough. To Rob and Ian it was absolutely amazing and my partner and I loved every minute of it. Everything you could ever ask for in a retreat was there. I was quite hesitant about a BnB as it was my first one but it simply was amazing. The breakfast is to die for and the hospitality is second to none. A must is the massages, they are really good and worth every penny. Thank you Rob and Ian for taking the extra effort to make it a great weekend.

Pros: The cabin that we booked was beyond my expectation. I fell in love with the openness and how clean it was. I just couldn't get over the cabin and now we are thinking of buying a similar cabin but more of a house. The outside area was ideal for us as well. The cost was reasonable. We had other family members stay at the resort and when they saw our cabin they were amazed with it as well and wish they had booked a similar 1 to what we had.

Pros: We had a very peaceful stay at the cottage. The retro style added to the ambience. Loved the sounds of the ducks chickens and roosters and being greeted by the 2 dogs every morning. Pam was an excellent host and I appreciated her hospitality. She made us lovely hardcore smoothies every morning, which set us up for the day. It’s great to stay in a place which acknowledges the importance of organic veg and fruit, conservation, recycling, harmful toxins, sprays etc. more businesses need to emphasize the importance of this. Will be back.

Pros: The friendly warm welcome from our host Pam who showed and invited us to enjoy all the facilities of our overnight stay including a well appointed kitchen. Our lovely inviting. elegant but cozy room. The big comfortable King size bed. The absolute privacy and quietness that the room offered which lead to a peaceful and restful sleep. In the morning from our widow a beautiful view of a autumn garden which must be stunning in spring when the garden is alive with colour. The whole house is exquisite; tastefully decored in days gone by, but with all modern conveniences of today. This building is built to last with extensive use of solid wood and well chosen tiles and fittings . Faulty Towers it most definitely isn't. Much too perfect and lovely.

Cons: Very small room, and with a bathroom added, makes it difficult to get around. No handle on the bathroom door, so it couldn't be closed, needed some hooks or another rail in the bathroom for towels. Only a short time on internet - at the price of the accommodation, internet should not be limited (and it ran out even though we hadn't used it).

Lovely breakfast in an old world dining room with a great coffee. Pool, tennis court and visitors kitchen makes it a great spot to be based at. Rooms open out onto a veranda with flyscreens.

5.0 Okay
Pros: Central location. Staff were pleasant. I loved the fact that the property was old and steeped in history. The ceilings were high and the rooms reflected a bygone era.
Cons: The bathroom was dated, peeling lacquer on old timber vanity. Grimy shower recess. When I opened curtains I could see billows of dust in sunlight. The insect screens were full of dust. Cleaners left their cleaning products and rags outside our door. Still there when we returned at 10pm after a night out. Seating on balcony dusty and unkept. Plant on balcony looked unkept. Overall, the place felt unkept and grimy. For $200 per night I expected a lot more. Have stayed in hundreds of places for same $ and the standard was far superior.
