Pros: We loved the atmosphere, the staff, the pizzas, the bar and the pool! we had a great family weekend away and will definitely return!
Pros: The Monsoon chalet was very roomy, had all the facilities of home, full stove in kitchen. Great deck to watch birds on the billabong while having breakky. Very private. Loved our stay
Cons: Nothing! Just be prepared you do get little midges flying around in the evening. Its right on rhe banks of the Adelaide river
Pros: The staff were quite friendly.
Cons: there are signs all over the place no water when we had a shower would be more suited for people with own caravan to stay.
Pros: Absolutely amazing night. Beautiful place, will be back.
Pros: Great location and atmosphere ! The bar and pizzas are fantastic ! Lots of animals around and close enough to Litchfield National Park. We loved it!
Pros: Beautiful peaceful location Loved staying on a outback station.
Pros: The bed was comfortable.
Cons: Roaches n the kitchen.
Pros: the structure is very simple and essential but it is perfectly clean and the staff very helpful and kind. nearby there are not many activities to do nor shops, nor restaurants and if you want to spend just one night there I recommend buying something to eat before arriving because the kitchen is equipped with everything for cooking. There is also a bar at Mount Bundy Station but they only have beer and chips and they only cook pizza. On the day of departure for Katherine we reached the Edith falls in about an hour and a half and it was well worth it.
Pros: Nice room

Pros: It was more than simply a hotel, is was an experience. The owner is real character and his vision is quite beautiful. It’s most family friendly, yet you don’t have to be a family to enjoy the animals and the atmosphere. Kids will adore the experience.
Pros: Fascinating property with a great vibe. Owner Chris was a wonderful host and staying here was one of the highlights of our trip
Pros: Rooms has aircon and close to Bachelor town.
Cons: Animals didn’t seem well looked after. Pool didn’t look clean, rooms needed a good dee clean.
Pros: Super friendly and warm atmosphere - good fun and a little bit different.
Pros: Host Chris was fantastic with the kids. He kept them entertained with his rabbits, butterflies and other animals. The kids would disappear every morning and take their carrots and we wouldn't see them for 2 hours. Gave us a wonderful sleep in. The restaurant is comfortable and warm. Music selection was excellent (lots of old favourites). The comics on the table were a hit with my eldest, who is now a Footrot Flats fan.
Pros: Chris is an excellent host. Room was clean and spacious.
Cons: Breakfast could be earlier, so you have more of the day to explore.
Pros: Great service, loved the animals and garden.
Cons: The fan in the room had only one speed- fast. There was absolutely no hot water at all in the bathroom. Was overcast and that couldn’t be helped, but a booster would good.
Pros: Unusual have never been to a place like this before enjoyable kid friendly
Cons: Some bedding looked stained
Pros: location was fine
Cons: bathrooms and bedding could have been cleaner
Pros: The dinner is delicious and the price is reasonable.
With a stay at Litchfield Tourist Park - Campground in Rum Jungle, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Karlstein Castle and Bicentennial Park. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Location, setting and staff
Cons: Room was clean but a bit musty
Pros: The lady at the reception desk was welcoming and funny. The bungalow was nice, had good facilities, was clean and beautifully situated.
Cons: No private bathroom, but (camping) shared bathing facilities. The smell in the bungalow could have been better.
Cons: very unfriendly staff, toilet outside in the dark, no internet, barbecue and under the bed not clean
Pros: Good location, good meals, good facilities.
Pros: Good location, helpful staff, comfortable stay. The bath and outdoor shower were great.
Cons: A little cramped for family of 5 as there’s no living area, and the outside was a little too cool in the evening and early morning.
Pros: The cabin was clean
Cons: The cabin didn’t have a toilet or bathroom. You had to order dinner between 5 and 5.30 pm and were served dinner before 6 pm.
Pros: We skipped the breakfast as it was too expensive. Much cheaper to go in to Batchelor and grab a breakfast burger which was substantial and cheaper.
Cons: The croc burger was dissapointing......
Pros: Did not have breakfast but had dinner on the night we arrived. Small selection of foods available but good variety. Prices were comparable to most pubs etc. We both chose the chicken schnitzel and it was the best schnitzel we both have had in a long time. Very surprised on the quality of the meal, it was excellent. Very surprised.
Pros: Stayed in Stockman's Cabin which was located on an elevated site with gorgeous view over paddocks and wooded areas adjoining the property. Lots of palms and shrubs around cabin made it really private. Although the park was full, there was no sense of crowding and the place was so quiet at night. Very well facilitated cabin, very comfortable bed with great (and very clean) BBQ on its spacious deck. Loved it
Pros: Room was Stockman’s which was basic. Clean with good shower and comfortable bed. Acceptable value. Air con very good. Restaurant is great. It isn’t open every night but when it is menu is steak, barramundi, chicken and others with burgers on the back page. Food is good, very good value and a lovely location to eat it. Staff very friendly. Telstra service when you sit near the pool.
Cons: No wifi.

Pros: The Lady on Reception was the happiest of experiences in all our travels. The Renovations taking place will set a high standard of Dining and retail in this accommodation at Rum Jungle/Batchelor/Litchfield National Park. It is located close to the Florence Falls and other tourist spots.
Pros: Lady on reception was fantastic . Very helpful and allowed us to collect key early so we could venture out too Litchfield . Beds were very comfortable and room was Clean . Will stay again .
Pros: The hotel is being renovated and there were no meals which we weren’t told about We walked into town for dinner but a lovely lady made us a breakfast tray to share between us
Cons: That we weren’t told about meals and facilities until After we paid
Pros: Friendly staff and the location in Batchelor, the gateway to the Litchfield National Park, helped us enjoy the stay.
Cons: The car park was dirt and it was hard to keep the red dust out of the room.
Pros: Good location, spacious room with comfortable bed.
Cons: Some advertised facilities (bar, restaurant) were not available, due to renovations going on. Noisy aircon Swimming pool too exposed in hot weather, no trees or shade cover,
Cons: Under renovation, not informed until arrival. No meals at all available.
Pros: It was centrally located to the national park and the staff on check in and check out were really helpful About what to see and where to go. The rooms were clean and comfortable.
Cons: Just a bit of maintenance needed with the palm trees near the pool- when the fronds hang they scratch the metal gutters throughout the night. Also, being a motel there were no cooking facilities and the bistro/restaurant is currently under construction which meant we had some searching for somewhere to eat - (Batchelor is a small town).
Cons: Curtains were shabby and poorly maintained. They did not hang correctly, there were missing curtain rings, and it was impossible to exclude the outside light. The door lock was insecure and an intruder could easily break in.
Pros: Nice welcome.
Cons: Currently being renovated so available facilities somewhat limited.
