The lobby staff was extremely friendly to our two year old and he loved it. The hotel is within walking distance to Epcot, and the rooms are perfectly clean and acceptable but not as updated as you would imagine at over two hundred a night. The valet wasn't very nice at all when we first arrived, and the parking system at the hotel made it just about impossible for us to enjoy the pool after checking out since we only stayed for one night.
The entire staff with the exception of the cabana people were extremely friendly! We felt so welcomed everywhere we went! The Dolphin cabana people were a bit rude!
customer service was great. the people at the front desk were super friendly and very helpful.
Location is great if you want to be in walking distance of epcot. Rooms were dirty and it seemed like the bedding and pillows were real dirty
Nice hotel but visit left a bad taste on last day with excessive parking fee On our last day...I told the front desk my parents were coming to meet us for breakfast. I was told they could have 30 minutes free parking. I replied the breakfast would take longer than 30 minutes and we might take a walk afterwards to the boardwalk. I was told I could use my room key and have an $18 charge added to my bill. I reluctantly agreed. My parents came and we had breakfast and spent about another hour walking around. $18 for under two hours seems excessive to me. It was a small thing considering everything else at the hotel went so well..but soured the end of our vacation.
I stayed in a recently renovated room overlooking the pool area. As requested, I received a quiet room on a high floor and it was actually very quiet at night. The bathroom was updated and clean, and the bed was comfortable. I appreciated the daily replenishment of bottled water, coffee, and tea. The employee who checked me in was very nice, and I was assisted with my luggage upon departure. There were some families staying in the hotel, but it was mostly conference attendees. Many at my conference had to stay at the Swan, but luckily it is just a short walk away. The hallways were a bit warm and smelled like mildew, but at least the rooms were clean. It's not a bad place to have a conference, but it is a little inconvenient that there aren't too many restaurants and bars to go to outside of the ones at the Dolphin and Swan.
The snacks provided by the hotel during the business conference I attended were good quality however the food at the restaurants was overpriced and underwhelming. There was a huge dead cockroach in one of the bathrooms. In another bathroom I noticed a bunch of ants crawling on the walls. It seemed no one was keeping after the bathrooms since they ran out of toilet paper and soap, and also some of the same motion detectors on the sink were not working for days at a time. To top it off many of the staff at the restaurants seemed to have a chip on their shoulder and did not seem happy to be there.
Onsite restaurants are excellent. Big beautiful resort hotel. Fabulous pool area. This is not a Disney hotel in any way shape for form even though it is on Disney property. It's a big beautiful hotel but does not have any of the Disney fantasy atmosphere.
They charge extra for a "clean" bed and they make you wait if you want a clean, newer room. They try to upcharge you if you want a good view.Service is non-existent. My 91 year mother fell and no one cared or assisted. The worst experience ever
The bed was very comfortable and it was nice being able to take the boat to and from Epcot. No mention of a $20 parking fee until you get to resort. One person told us it could be fixed when we left, but it was never resolved. Paid extra money for a resort view thinking that meant we would be overlooking Epcot or Hollywood Studios, however according to them, a resort view is a view of the Swan. Overall very upset. Would not have spent so much money if I would have known these things in advance. Not worth the $400+ I spent.
The hotel looked great for USA. Most USA hotels fall short in comparison to international 4 star hotels. The rooms looked brand new and views were great. Enjoyed food and wine festival. Staff at hotel were extremely friendly. No breakfast included for the price. I'm more disappointed by Kayak and booking.com for the price I paid for the rooms. Thought I was getting the best price but I happenened to ask if I wanted to spend another night on my last night there. I was quoted a price that was $100 less than what I was paying already. The manager started the sentence that his price might be more than booking.com. Boy was I shocked that his price was about $100 less per room.
Renovated rooms in the hotel are very nice,-although a bit small. Location is perfect for Epcot/food and wine guests. Staff attentive and accommodating. Kids pool slide closes at 6. Non-renovated rooms in East wing have a musty smell.
Nice clean place with good service Bit family oriented since by Disney
Close to downtown Disney It was like a leaking sound from the bathroom sink, it was very annoying when you went to bed
Loved the cleanliness of the resort. It is a very modern and clean resort that is very convenient to Disney. Every staff person that we encountered were very friendly. We normally stay at a resort across the street as we visit multiple times a year and have wanted to stay here for a while, finally gave it a try and glad we did. N/A
Hotel was clean Cleaning staff opened up door and tried to enter room before checkout time while we were still asleep. I do not want to wake up on vacation to see a stranger looking at me while I am in bed.
Staff was helpful, good location The shower head in our room was not mad for people over 5'5. Needs to be higher
The parking and resort fees.
Staff was very nice, dinner was good and pool/hot tub was fine. Didn't get a chance to use the spa but looked like it would be wonderful - just off pool and an Aveda one, if you want early time slots need to plan ahead.
The only thing I did not like was the outside floors leading to the hotel were always wet, I was worried for my grandmother and son walking on them, I didn't want them to slip and fall
The hotel was modern and very nice. The staff was professional and really nice. They moved me to a floor and a little bigger room because it was available and I checked in later. The room was very clean and neat. Overall for the price and location it was a great stay. Can't honestly think of anything. I guess parking was a bit pricey but I think that is standard fare these days.
So close to Disney property, across the street from Disney Springs. Very very very clean hotel. In my opinion the most luxury hotel you will find in the Lake Buena Vista area. I have stayed here twice and will definitely stay again in the future as long as the price stays this reasonable.
The proximity to Disney springs, transportation to Disney parks (every 30 min) which was awesome! Staff was very friendly. The pool was nice, they have a children's play room which was pretty cool. Decorations were nice as well seemed modern. Bath toiletries were all aveda which is better than most hotels where their products are sub par. Do not like that resort fees are not included in daily listed price on kayak, the hotel restaurant is expensive. We had some difficulty with the ac but nothing too bad
The staff were truly pleasant at every encounter and the proximity to Disney Springs was awesome! The shower continually made the bathroom floor extremely wet. The shower looked nice, but slip and fall risk was very disappointing.
Very clean and extra towels. The kitchen was fully stocked. The rooms were very big and the spa in the room was excellent. Was planning on staying just 1 night and we winded up staying 2 nights. That I had to go home
Multiple spiders upon entering hotel room and throughout room..
I visited Orlando for a family reunion and trip to Disney for my grandson. Mystic Dunes is an amazing resort! Beautiful facility and grounds! We were able to save a ton of money on food, because each room had a stove, microwave and refrigerator. They also had a washer and dryer. i went through a timeshare presentation while I was there that wasn't too bad. I got $50 and $25 visa cards and a 3 day 2 night trip. the cards came in handy for gas and Disney stuff. The staff is so friendly and helpful! Honestly they exhibit the customer service you'd expect from such a beautiful resort. You feel like a rich person! I so glad I stayed here. It made my trip!
Nothing Unfriendly staff. I did not like it
I liked everything about this Hotel/Condo. I felt right at home because they make you feel at home. As a matter of fact, when you drive up through the gates, they great you, Welcome Home! Hotel/Condo was clean and had everything we needed... EVERYTHING I didn't like that I had to go.
We got a free upgrade to a beautiful 2 bedroom suite. Just so you know, the 1 bedroom only has a queen size bed, the 2 bedroom has 2 queens in one room and a king in the other. There is so much to do there, but we had plans already so couldn't enjoy all the resort has to offer. If you need a crib, make sure you ask ahead of time and follow through. Took them til 1am to bring ours
Spacious apartment. It had everything I could think of even dish soap!
The resort had am abundance of family friendly activities. 10:00 am checkout
How the iron caught fire and almost burned me
Fifth stay at this resort. Love proximity to Disney parks. Room was clean. Beds are comfortable. Love having full kitchen and washer/dryer. Reasonably priced for all that they offer. Wi-fi in room worked well but you can only connect 4 devices and there were 4 of us in the room Decor needs to be updated
Plenty of space. Having laundry machines in your room is so helpful with kids!
Everything excep. I was missing two pillows. My missing pillows
Close to downtown Disney. Within 10 miles of most parks. Free on site parking Ads say they had microwaves in rooms on kayak. Even had picture of the thing on the website. No microwave. Brought food I just had to throw away. $50 per day deposit hold on your card that was not disclosed. Had $250 on my account frozen that I hadn't planned for which can ruin a vaca. Facilities not up to usual Hilton standards but I understand it was under renovation. Overall not pleased, felt misled, and loosing faith in the Hilton brand
Took longer than expected to get into the room.
Close to parks (use Uber; it saves tons of time) and really nicely appointed room. Kind staff. Undergoing construction on new pool so we didn't get to use that. Breakfast buffet is pretty pricey so we declined.
Location was great and the hotel was awesome! The pool is excellent and great accommodations!
We went for our anniversary. They went above and beyond to make it the best day for us ever. Nothing. They were almost perfect making it special.
I liked that we were walking steps from Disney Springs, what use to be Downtown Disney. They also provide transportation to all the other Disney parks as well. The room was spacious. The smell in the hallways were horrible though. It was a wet moldy smell. They were doing some renovations and building though. The smell leaked into the room as well making it smell like dirty laundry.
The place was clean and updated. Great location to Disney Springs. I booked a king bed. They told me I was out of luck because they were sold out and they finally gave me the king but with attitude.
The location is amazing. Rooms are nice a big. Staff is very nice and helpful. The shower head was terrible.
Everything! Hotel under construction but it is not inconvenience.
Nice employees and decor Noisy. We were on the 12th floor and at 230am we could hear loud people's discussion clearly.
I stayed here one night and across the street at the Hilton Disney Springs. This location was of much higher quality and did not have a hidden "resort fee." I'd recommend it to anyone. The construction out front was annoying. Very hard to find the front desk or decent parking. But that's necessary as they are redoing the entrance it seems.
Across the street from Disney Springs. Easy to shop & eat. Very comfortable rooms. Staff was very helpful. Nothing.
The boat ride from the hotel to Epcot, boardwalk, and Hollywood Studio's. Our reservations were for the Swan hotel but when we arrived we were told we were at the Dolphin hotel. We asked why we were there our reservations were for the Dolphin hotel. We were advised we must have read the confirmation wrong. The woman at the Dolphin hotel asked if we had the confirmation. I pulled it up on my phone and she confirmed it showed the Swan. She asked if she could make a phone call. She made the phone call in front of us and advised the person on the other end what I had and what their system showed. She was told we were supposed to be at the Swan and they corrected it in their system. The lady apologized and said that she could check us in but we would have to get our key's from the Swan because their systems were different. When we came back the bellhop that was going to assist us with our bags said very sarcastically, "ladies you are at the wrong hotel. I will tell you very slowly how to get there." We told him that we went to the Dolphin and they found that we were supposed to be at the Swan. He told us he would assist us with our bags once we got our keys. When we turned around he ducked into the back and a different bellhop advised us that he went on break so he would assist us. The room we were in smelt like mildew and we were advised that there were no other rooms available.
The room was fantastic. Updated and positively posh. The 12th floor view was incredible with fireworks shows from two Disney parks. The in-room Starbucks was a nice touch. I found a new favorite Disney hotel. Thanks!
Beautiful hotel! The character dining at Garden Grove restaurant was awesome, have your kids bring their autograph books with them. Staff was friendly and very accommodating to families/kids. We ate dinner at Il Mulino restaurant and despite being more upscale Italian, the waiter was very engaging with our kids and was happy to make them chocolate milk with dinner! The grotto pool was beautiful, large, and poolside food/beverage service was on the ball. Nothing really not to like, just some advice: Prices are expensive but hold value. This isn't a Super 8 but then again they treat you way better than a Super 8. Just remember EVERYTHING at Disney World is expensive. Also this: this hotel is on Disney property but is NOT a Disney hotel. You still get the same perks like early park entry and free shuttles to the parks, but what you don't get is free shuttle from/to the airport on the Disney Magical Express. A Disney rep will tell you to use Mears transportation saying it's cheaper than a taxi but don't. Our taxi, with tip, was cheaper than Mears' fare plus we didn't have to wait the half hour for the Mears shuttle. We were in a taxi in about 5 minutes at the airport.
Hotel was comfortable and clean Our room was next to the elevator so we didnt sleep well from the noise of the motor constantly.
Staff was very helpful and friendly. We received a free upgrade to a suite, which was elegant and huge! We loved the swan! Nothing!
Location Required 2 night minimum
Staff was very friendly and helpful Very pricey for simple things like morning coffees or breakfast for kids.
Closet is too small. With the ironing board in the closet you can't fit anything in there. I understood this room #444, was newly constructed....has anyone tried hanging a suit in this closet? very poor planning. Secondly air conditioning was malfunctioning when I was there. I doubt I'll stay at the Swan again. p.s. Note I didn't mention the bomb scare...that could happen anywhere. The closet is ridiculous.
Location to Epcot is a huge benefit. Great staff. Remodeled bathrooms are great. Older facility is noticed.
Upon check in we got a free upgrade to a suite no extra charge.
Truly exceptional service whether in the restaurants, bars, convention space, 24 hour convenience store, guest services, or just walking around. The staff are super friendly and they proactively offer assistance. The Italian restaurant has super amazing meatballs - best in a very long time. My room was a good size and clean. Quality toiletries and other amenities. Tip: Ask for a room with a decent view because mine really sucked!
The staff was very friendly. They have a 24 hour shout with a nice selection of food, bakery items, coffee, and snacks for the inbetween hours. They have a shuttle to the Disney resorts available to guest which makes it very convenient if you're not on a schedule. The room felt dirty, especially the bathroom. Outdated but trying to be new and improved.
Construction has caused this resort to fail on multiple levels. Wait until it is all done before staying here.
Both parking fees and resort fees were high in combination for benefits. The fact that a family member visiting for more than 30 min had to pay $18.11 to park was steep.
Good Disney area vacation location. Good amenities on site. Holiday surcharge and uppricing. Diamond/gold breakfast was very good except for powdered eggs.
Nice location, most convenient for Disney Springs area; perhaps the only true advantage over other hotels in the area. Average to below for facility, quite dated in the room. about 25% greater than other facilities in the area and parking/cost was an issue... the gate/payment machine was difficult and could not produce a receipt.
We were very disappointed with the breakfast buffet. It was very expensive and the food was cold.
The location is fantastic. It's within walking distance to Disney Springs, and has a trail directly to an overhead crosswalk that leads you straight to the Bibbity Boppity Boutique. The hotel has restaurants and a super convenient 24 hr market. The pool was nicely maintained, and the rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. Paying to park is a drag, especially considering it was $17 to self-park, and the lot is pretty far from the majority of the rooms.
Great location; really comfortable beds; clean; friendly service; top amenities Just outside of the Disney bubble. We were there for vacation but most seemed to be there for conferences. Rooms a bit dated.
Room was good, Bed was comfortable and relaxing for me, though my wife complained about it. Bathroom had two sinks, which was nice. Reception, Concierge, Restaurant, all were professionally managed and was impeccable. The TV was dated. Rather low def. Only showed cable and the remote was hard to operate. It was not interactive so I could not see the hotel charges on the screen.
Location is great. Just a few steps away from Disney Springs. The hotel says it is part of the Disney Resorts but it is not. None of the benefits of the Disney resorts are available at this hotel. No extended hours at the theme parks. Self parking charge: 20 per day! Food price. Cleanliness very poor.
Staff was friendly. Nice location. Hidden resort fee is a joke. It's in the fine print. They automatically charge you $24 a night for services you may or may not use. Including internet which is average speed at best. Also, they paint it as a high class hotel. The room and facilities are also average at best. Stay across the street at the Hilton Palace instead. Nicer and less expensive. Free parking.
Pay the extra money for a savannah room! There was nothing better than coming home after a long day at the parks seeing giraffes, zebras, gazelles and many other African animals right off your balcony. I've never been that close to exotic animals and I didn't want to ever leave my room! Plus, the service here was impeccable. I wish I could have stayed longer.
That the safari was 8 & up.
Location This is not a Disney hotel yet they wanted to charge us to eat with Disney characters. This was $10 more for breakfast. Staff was rude when we asked about it.. we requested the manager get in touch with us but never did.
Service Everything was a add on cost..
Nickle & dime too much. Extra for resort fee extra for lousy parking etc
We got a room on the 18th floor. The view was amazing we where able to watch the fireworks from Epcot, Hollywood studios and some of the magic kingdom (other hotel was blocking some of the view). Also just people watching everyone walking around Disney Springs helped pass the time. Wasn't pleased with being roped into talking with a hotel employee about going to their other hotels for a presentation(guessing it was a timeshare). We did not do it but felt extremely pressured like if we didn't do it we were not welcome in the hotel. Had to spend the rest of our time there avoiding that employee.
After spending two nights at one of the cheaper Disney properties we booked a room here at a lower price for our last night in Disney World. We stayed in the tower and our room was significantly better in terms of comfort and size than the room we had just left at the Disney hotel. Considering that both properties were at a out the same distance from the parks and that both provided transportation to and from them, the Wyndham was hands down a much better choice. We'll definitely stay here on our next trip.
Proximity to WDW
Interior was new and updated. Couldn't beat the price for the location and amenities. Perfect for a short stay while visiting the Disney parks!
I loved the location. Great being right across from Disney Springs.
The rooms were amazing, the staff was friendly, and the amenities were amazing!
It was clean and the bedding was very comfortable Size of room would be a little small for an extended stay.
I liked everything about the hotel, clean, friendly. I didn't like that the buffet breakfast was around $13.00 to $15.00 every morning, and then when it was the character breakfast it went up. It doesn't really give you a choice to not pay the $26.00+. Especially when you are a guest at the hotel and are expecting to eat at the same restaurant every morning. And the pancakeson the buffet were very rubbery and hard.
The room was well designed and clean. I attempted to call guest services multiple times. Mostly from my cell phone, once from the room phone. No one ever answered. Also, the internet connection was to weak to connect. I wasn't able to connect at anytime.
The pools were the best part of the resort! 1. The smoking area is on the jogging trail! 2. There is only one food court for all the guests so expect long waits in line. 3. The only provide one bed sheet so bring a blanket!!!! 4. Guests don't know what to bring to the registers when cashing out their food.. So they leave the line to get stuff and hold up the registers!
service comfort of room horrible wifi in room
We were upgrade to a nemo room and that was a very nice surprise. The room was bigger which included a microwave, kitchenette sink and refrigerator. Indoor entry was a plus. The little mermaid rooms were really small and not very appealing. All the room were outdoor entry much little motels. Very bare/basic room.
As it is described it is a Value Resort, the cheapest Housing by Disney but kids friendly invironment, but misses basic shopping needs like fresh milk and cereal as it has a small useful Kitchenette. With a fridge, microwave, wide cabinate but they use USA electric sockets only, you can buy a converter from the gift shop but bare in mind USA only uses 110V electricity. so make sure your device is dual current or you'll end up grumpy like my wife who couldn't use her own hair Devices ;) .
Mermaid room is small, but ok for a family of 4. The resort has a nice theme and the grounds are very clean. The walk from mermaid rooms building 8 is a long walk. It took 11-12 minutes to walk from room to the "cars" pool.
It took us 30 minutes to check in. They kept telling me that we booked with a third party and that was the problem. We had a 2 year old with us and when we checked in we asked for a pack n play. Went to get something to eat, and when we returned it still was not in the room. We called and it took another 1/2 hour to receive. Very crowded, and the food was just mediocre. Room was very small, if not Disney it would be 1/2 the price.
The rooms were very nice. The grounds were a lot of fun for my 4 year old grandson. Best part was once we parked we didn't have to drive again. The bus took us right to the ticket booths at Magic Kingdom. Not much I can say about what we didn't like.
The hotel was very kid friendly the play areas along the paths were amazing and the pool was also big enough for a lot of quests.
This hotel gives you the full Disney experience. Take away the Disney aspect and you have an average motel style room in the little mermaid section where we stayed. If you pay more, there are better rooms closer to the resort style pool. The eatery was Disney style and the food was just what you'd expect from one of their mass dining experiences.
It's on Disney Property, good for family to spend time together rather then having two separate hotel rooms. They waste your time trying to get you to buy a time share. They tell you to go to a different area to get parking pass and then keep you
The room was nice, and the furniture (beds, couches) were comfortable. The balcony was nice. There were toenails on the bedroom floor from the people that were there before us. That was disgusting.
The resort is close to everything. We used the grills almost nightly. Lots of things for the kids to do. The maid didn't come once during our 5 night stay. When we got to our room the tub was leaking from the handle. The fan that drys the tub came on scaring my kids. We called the front desk and it was fixed quickly but I feel the maid should have caught it when she cleaned. I also didn't like how they try to get you to buy the timeshare.
It was a great experience and value but unfortunately we were not able to use the facilities like we wished ,due to the bad weather Not having acomadations for a full dinind experience is a disapointment, especially when you have spent all day at hte parks, people just want to relax and not have to drive out again for dinner. Also check in time should be at 3pm. and check-out at 11am. like a lot of other resorts ,because we felt very rushed in the morning like other guests.
Location of Hotel, near Disney World and size of 2 rooms condo.
I attended with my husband and 2 younger children and 2 older children. We all had something to do. I like the different activities and chance to just relax. Everyone loved the numerous pools, lazy rivers, and there were many Jacuzzi hot tusb that we always found that it wasn't crowded. I will definitely stay again.
the pool was very nice, the room was sweet.
Very nice resort with large rooms
You can't beat the location and it's one of the few hotels on Disney property that is affordable. Easy transportation to the parks. The staff was warm and friendly. The accommodations were sparsely decorated, hardly any theming in the rooms. The beds were small and uncomfortable. The front desk did not set up our magic bands correctly and I didn't realize it until I got to the park and tried to pay with it. One of the main reasons we stayed on property was to have the ease of paying with magic bands at the food and wine festival. When I called to correct they said for security reasons I would have to come back to the front desk. Not wanting to waste an hour of park time to take the bus back, I settled for buying and loading a Disney gift card. The breakfast at the hotel was not great. Very bland food, terrible coffee. Anywhere off Disney property a hotel this mediocre and basic would have been priced in the $60 range. Paying $100 more than that is hard to stomach, but a necessary evil if you want to be on Disney property.
clean distance to wald around resort
Fabulous pools, immaculate grounds. Rooms are small, but who cares? We were in the pool the whole time.
Overall a good value for the money. The room was clean and comfortable. Cafeteria food is surprisingly good. Grounds were well-kept. The rooms are very loud to the outside world, we could hear entire conversations at the pool from the second level. Housekeeping was very inconsistent as far as towels and washrags, both replacing them and where they put them. Which isn't a problem except when you are going to take a shower and all the washrags are at the sink not in the bathroom. Sometimes when I re-hung the towels and washrags they got replaced and sometimes they didn't (to save resources, in most hotels if you hang the linens, it means you will use them again). Sometimes when I left them on the floor or in the tub they got replaced and sometimes they didn't.
Staff was very friendly. Cleanliness was good. Overall a value. The beds are uncomfortable.
Location was great. Pools were wonderful for young kids. Food court had lot of options. No towels for pools. Walls between rooms but thin.
Service The bathroom
We were able to check in before 3 pm before we headed to Magic Kingdom for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas, we are also Annual Passholders so we could get into the park earlier. We liked the checkin early so we could get to the park, spend time there and not have to go back to the hotel to check in, then head back to Magic Kingdom. I also like the updates by texting when our room would be ready. I did not get the Preferred room that I had paid for. Our own magic bands did not work on our door to our room, so we had to go back to the front desk to get another band.
The room it's to small, it's supposed a resort and the pool it's small and don't have anything extraordinary
Room was shabby and worn, and could have been cleaner. 3rd class hotel Check-in was slow with problems since we booked with a third party. Every issue was because we booking with a third party. Nothing linked to parks. Dining was cafeteria style and was fair and very crowded.
I requested a room close to the parking lot, and got it. I liked that. Staff was always helpful and courteous no matter where I went. Didn't like the $18 refillable mug cost. KA-CHING! Didn't like that mousekeeping never changed our bed linens the entire 8 nights we stayed. Didn't like that one day they never cleaned the room at all, no fresh towels - and the next day, we were told we would have to vacate the room (at 3PM) or they wouldn't be able to clean it then, either. Food courts were too busy (and loud), waited in line a long time which wasted our time in the parks.
Loved the free pickup from the airport. Loved the free transportation to the parks. Pools were great. Staff was totally on the ball and helpful. Loved the baggage forwarding service to and from the airport. Loved the extra hours that staying at a Disney hotel gave us and MAGIC BANDS! No one does it better than Disney!
Value good for Disney area. Appreciate transportation to various Disney locations. Food Court had good variety & quality, but very expensive. All Star gives opportunity to bring your own snacks, mini-fridge in unit & public use of microwave in Food Court. WDW now allows private food/drink brought by you into parks, which was not allowed when our kids were young. *Take advantage of that! All-Star Movies is NOT a luxury hotel, but clean & safe, and very agreeable & helpful staff. Overall, positive stay. Long walks to bus from parks at the end of the day/night. Somewhat noisy with teenagers on group trips, & Food Court definitely noisy & crowded @ peak times. But, really not much to complain about!
I loved everything. N/a
I liked the pool area. The room service was poor. And they did'nt fix the water isue right away.
Please change the head showers
Nothing to like Employees were rude and pushy, tried to convince us to buy a timeshare and then got nasty when we declined! The restaurant buffet was disgusting and then when the credit card machine didn't work we had to pay in cash and that was a whole debacle because God forbid the cashier wait while we use an atm! The rooms were not exactly clean, but I didn't sleep at all because I-4 is literally right next door plus all the construction at 6:00 am didn't help, not to mention the other hotel residents were running up and down and all around at all hours of the night. Walls are paper thin. The free breakfast is not free. The transportation to the parks were a joke! We had to wait in line for an hour to just have 20 people skip us and have to wait for the next bus, then your on the bus for an hour while you drive all over Disney dropping off people at every park! We drove the second night and got there in 20 min! All around worse hotel stay I have ever had! Don't recommend it to my worse enemy!
This hotel was a steal of a bargain. We brought our small dog and stayed in the pet area. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The bathrooms look like they had been recently renovated. The grounds were beautiful and very well maintained. The breakfast buffet was delicious and, also, a great bargain. We did not have children with us, but children under 9 years eat free! We were visiting our 19-year-old daughter and she ate with us each day and loved it! We definitely will return!!! The bus schedule only ran to certain parks twice a day. We had our car and drove. We would have felt trapped if we had depended on the bus. I am sure that is all they need there, but the Disney resorts run buses every thirty minutes. You could get to Disney Springs easily and ride the Disney buses from there. You can park for free in the Disney Springs parking garages.
We have been visiting this property for five years. It has always been a great stay and great value. It's very convenient to WDW, and other attractions as well. This visit was especially nice because our room was on the end near the elevator, making parking and unloading quick and easy. We liked everything about our stay. Can't wait to go back.
The overall cost was good. Lots of well lit parking with security. Beds were super comfortable. Rooms were clean and a nice size with a large wardrobe & dressers. Sliding door offers privacy for others to get dressed by the sink area as the bathroom is small. Excellent location to the I-4 and access to Disney. Breakfast is lacking unless you pay the up charge for the buffet. The sheets were full of fabric pills but clean. If you don't like noise ask for a room away from the I-4, we isn't have any issues with noise from the 4 in bldg 4000. Housekeepers come way too early 8am, make sure to hang your do not disturb sign.
Location is great. For staying off property at Disney, this hotel has all the basics for the best price, and is so close to the parks! It is my go-to weekend getaway hotel when I can't afford to stay on property. Rooms are clean and recently renovated. Wished the adds accounted for resort fees - those always catch me by surprise.
Nothing. Called the day before check in to confirm the hotel and our late arrival because we wouldn't be checking in until after we left the theme park. Arrived at 9:00 PM only to be told we were moved to a sister property. They didn't say why but I can only assume they over book on purpose. I booked this room 3 months ago so I wouldn't have to worry. Now it's 9pm and I have 8 tired adults and two young children driving all over town trying to locate this other hotel no where near where we wanted to stay. I've never booked with this chain before and won't ever again.
The room was nice, beds were comfortable. The facility was well kept and clean. Staff was all very polite! I'd stay here again. Nothing everything was great!
Great location, clean, spacious rooms and friendly staff.
Very nice facility. Clean, good sized rooms, friendly staff, secure facility. Shower drained slow. Some People were loud in the walkways at night
Nothing They gave me a playpen for my baby that was so gross it looked like it had come stains, the fridge was not working in both rooms, it was dirty and no costumer service what so ever I left a day before even though it was already paid for
Service, comfort Food
Clean, polite staff. Would like to see an adult only portion of the hotel and more on site dining facilities. Check in and check out seemed to take a long time.
Free transportation and great customer service. Provided with free taxi voucher to get us to our hotel. Dining area too small to accommodate guests especially during busy times. Wait for hot quick service breakfast was over 20 minutes. That's not quick service.
The location, and the room was surprisingly quiet given the number of children staying at the hotel. There was a stain on a pillowcase that was not cleaned/replaced, and a hair on top of the "new" towels, which led us to question whether the towels had been replaced or merely refolded. While I understand not using new sheets after each night, I do expect the towels -- especially wet ones left on the floor -- to be replaced. Finding a dark hair on top of a white towel is pretty gross.
Easy access to Disney parks at a cheap price, free parking and free transport to parks. Room was not well ventilated and could smell smokers outside on the walkway. Sinks and showers need to be replaced as the grout is showing wear. I have stayed at all of the other Disney value resorts and this one is the most dated. If you are looking for a cheap hotel and will not be spending time in the room, this may be the one for you.
Location, location, location...all for less than $100 per night. Very cute Sports theme property with nice pool area and cafeteria style restaurant. Don't expect 5 star room accommodations.
Without a doubt the best attribute of this hotel is quiet! We love how spread out and green the grounds are. Staff was great. Disney perks. Pricey.
Bus service I was very disappointed with the riverside. I expected Disney service and Disney clean. Not here
Check-in. Check-out, and reservation changes were a nightmare. I booked and pre-paid for 3 nights on Kayak assigned to Travelocity. I called twice in advance to explain that I would check out after 2 nights. When arriving to check in after midnight the line was out the door and only one person was working. After 45 minutes and them not able to program the "key" wristbands, I finally got checked in using 1 key card for 4 people. They told me my reservation was 3 days and to call when I check out early. Day 2 I again waited through a long line to get more keys at which time they again tried to program wristbands with no luck so instead gave me more key cards. When I checked out I called the front desk as instructed. The person told me I had to come to the front desk per protocol to check out early. The room was nice but nothing special and overpriced. I will not stay there again.
The room was very nice, very clean. The Disney feel is amazing. It is very nice getting to and from the airport. The hotel provides a bus called the Disney Express. The bed is lumpy and feels old. You could roll over and keep rolling over because you rolled down the dip in the mattress. The bus system with this hotel is very poor. Our first day, we went to Hollywood Studios, it took 30 mins to get picked up by the bus to go back to the hotel at the end of the day. We saw perhaps every other hotel have 2 or 3 buses go by. The day after, it took almost an hour from the time we left the room, to the time we got to epcot.
On Disney property Room not clean. Insect issue. Had to move rooms.
Quiet & not crowded
Friendly personal. Location was excellent. Rooms nice. Did not like all the hidden fees. The television situation is deplorable, no stations and no HD(really in this day). No breakfast included will probably be a deal breaker for staying again. We are already looking at other places for January and March.
If Disney is the reason for the stay, location is good. The rooms could probably use an update, but they are sufficient. The bed was unusually comfortable, which actually matters a lot to me.
The staff was rude every time I asked a question or needed something (as if I was putting them out because I had a question but house keeping was very polite), I was charged an extra fee of over $140 for parking and a resort fee for the week (which I was not informed of prior to booking or arrival) What are the "taxes and fees" for if that doesn't include everything? When you arrive you assume your lodging is paid for in full and then get slapped with over $100 in extra fees? I just felt like that was bad business.
Very nice place to stay. Close to the attractions. Love the view and the staff in incredible. Great value. Thanks.
Clean lobby and location is great! Great view. Large room Mold in bathroom No Hot water When complained no concern.
The staff were very helpful when checking in and out and definitely made me feel like I was their number one priority. The check in process had some bumps related to the reservation I made that were in no part the resort's fault, but the lady who checked me in handled the situation very smoothly and was able to get me into a room very quickly. The room was pristine and had a wonderful view of the area. Definitely a luxurious feel at a bargain price. I will definitely be staying here again. The parking fee charged by the hotel was not disclosed while booking through kayak's vendor, getaroom. An unexpected $7.00 charge wasn't too thrilling, but again this was not the hotel's fault. The hotel itself could have more people available to answer calls from rooms in the morning.
hotel was clean the location was great
Hotel was great. Parking fees were crazy.
Location, location, location. Parking System is terrible, should be included in price of hotel. I wouldn't mind the pass system to get in the parking if it worked. Half the time the hotel had to let us in and out.
Close to Disney. Gross bathroom. AC didn't remove humidity. Felt gross kids playground.
The location is excellent, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the rooms are comfortable. Fantastic view of Epcot and Magic Kingdom.
Nothing it sucked everything
Housekeeping staff were VERY NICE. Pool design good except loud music detracted from experience. Par 3 course very nice. 1. Key cards failed repeatedly 2. Shower flooded bathroom. 3. Sink drains clogged 4. No way to transport guests in rain to villas 5. Food mediocre and outdated and overpriced 6. Staff rude from reservations through every encounter, except housekeeping and wait staff in Sports Bar 7. Long line at Morsels 8. Did not work well with wedding group 9. Annex at Crocs was hot and fly infested
Pool, restaurants, amenities Paying $18 a day to park
We love the pool, lazy river, and the friendly staff. We have made it a tradition to stay at the Omni at Champions Gate every year. Perhaps the location.. Only because there isn't much in the area. Other than that (which is so minor) this is a wonderful place to stay
I love their pool area. They have a family friendly pool with a slide, a lazy river, and a spa style pool. The staff is friendly. The beds are really uncomfortable and really firm. If you like mattresses with pillowtop, then this is not the place to stay. It is at least 20 minutes away from all theme parks and the downtown area. The only other issue is it has a lot of hidden charges.
Very little, the ground appeared luxurious, however there was construction and there were unkept areas that need attention. The pool area was a madhouse chairs were packed together, yet unavailable covered by towels unoccupied. Not enough tubes in lazy river. No supervision or coordination at the pool. The staff was unconcerned and unresponsive facility wide. Iwill not bother to return.
