This is a wonderful place to stay with a family feel and a staff second to none. Ricky and his crew really take care of you with all kinds of little details which make you feel like family! The location is beautiful with amazing views of downtown and the coast. The apartments are very comfortable and stylishly decorated, and the staff so pleasant and friendly every day. They will arrange tours, drivers, meals, anything you like -- at a great value, too! Highly recommended. Check out their reviews on TripAdvisor too, that's where we found them.
It is a 20-25 minute drive to downtown or to get to the main highways, but the views and the staff are worth it.
cleaness of the room
some side street work noise
the view, the staff.
it is a furnished appartments property. some noize because of structure work in front of the hotel, and the traffic. the phone was not working (no outgoing calls) during my stay.
the terrace: I loved it. the weather: it's in the mountain, especially in the hot weather in Lebanon in August. the staff are always smiling and willing to help. and the room is cleaned daily and the towels are changed daily. it's great for the value I paid.
None. Better than I expected.
The hotel is owned by Ricky Wakim who is a wonderful man. He is intelligent, generous, extremely helpful, funny and informative. His English is impeccable. His warmth and kindness infuses the hotel. There is a lovely lady called Amal who does your washing within hours. There is the great Sherief, who gets you mint when you run out, carries your baggage, changes a light bulb, in short he is the hotel's general factotum. Then there are the lovely ladies who clean the room every day, do the washing up and deliver clean towels daily.
Location, staff, rooms clean, kitechen well equipped, privacy (gr8 for family), and balcony with a great view. the owner is a nice man and he was very helpfull and flexibale.. I would recommed this hotel to all
It was noisy (it's next to a street and the cars are noisy) and that was the only thing that was annoying
very smart chic hotel. the owner was very helpful and just a phone call away if needed, staff are incredibly charming, friendly, and helpful, beautiful room and great location . Recommended.
the room was actually a two bedroom apartment with dining, living room, kitchen and bath 54 square meter with balconies all around. View of the ocean and a fantastic view of the snowy mountain. The staff went out of their way to help since I did not speak the language. Public transport is available to the city center. it is at the edge of Broummana a popular upper class location of Beirut. The manager lives on site. The apartment was totally renovated with new modern bathroom, kitchen was fully equipped, very well designed. The place was sparkling clean. In one world I will come back for a longer stay. May be even rent a car there . It is actually very convenient to all the historical and archaeological sites around.
not really; just it might be good to rent a car if you do not want to take the bus, which however is very safe and very cheap and it comes every 15 mn
