10.0 Excellent
Pros: Peaceful, relaxing, quiet, great breakfast, warm hosts, spotlessly clean, comfortable room, beautiful gardens, lovely pool. The hosts had great local knowledge and we wouldn’t have had the experience that we had without their guidance. Perfect stay and can’t wait to go back!
Cons: Nothing, all perfect.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The setting, the breakfast the family who rund the place, everything was just perfect!
Cons: Nothing could’ve been better
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Taxi service. Very difficult to explore the area if you didn’t rent a car.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Just wonderful, hard to find any minus/negatives, only that we could not stay longer and that water in the swimming pool was colder due to "mistral";) But to name few things we really enjoyed: quiet and nice rooms, own terrace, superb breakfast but first of all super nice staff. In reality the place was much more nice than on photos.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was just perfect! Nathalie and Cyril were such welcoming and friendly hosts and took really good care of us. Very spacious room with privacy, the beds were very comfortable. The accommodation was beautifully decorated, with a lot of taste. The room was very clean. The garden was amazing! Every corner of the property was a sight. Breakfast was delicious. Had a fantastic stay! Can’t find anything to pick on. Highly recommended!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and welcoming family-run place. Lots of care and thought in furnishing the rooms and beautifying the gardens. Excellent breakfast. A delightful place to stay. Convenient base for sightseeing at St Remy, Les Baux, Pont du Gard, Avignon.
Cons: Can't think of anything that needed improvement.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is a nice sets of indipendent houses (8, if I am not wrong) in a green "garden" with trees: the garden is well maintained. Staff is very friendly and welcoming and even if their english knowledge is limited they try to make you feel at home and understand your needs. The staff speaks french but the wife of the owner also speaks a bit of english and italian. They also have a good knowledge of the surronding and they will direct you to see the nearby cities. Our room was cleanly daily in a perfect way. The way you need to follow to get to the reception is filled with small pebbles so even if it raining there are no problems in reaching your car or the reception. The free parking area inside the compound is a welcome extra that I found really pleasant.
Cons: The location is a bit far away from the main route area and the city center: you definitely need a car (or a motorbike) if you are staying in this place. There are no attraction close to the hotel. Breakfast was fine but I still find it a bit expensive.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything - from location to facilities, but particularly the flexibility of the maisonette with its excellent kitchen. Pool was great too.
Cons: the incessant noise of the cicadas but nothing can be done about that!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We had a lovely stay, the room was clean and well laid out and the aircon was a blessing! Breakfasts were excellent and relaxed. The pool was ideal, part shaded and always clean. Overall a great experience!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Peaceful environment with a large garden, lovely pin trees and pool. I enjoyed the configuration of the mazets, very private. Only a few KMs away from St-Remy. Hosts were super friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to stay again at this property.
Cons: Nothing!

Pros: The host and his wife were TERRIFIC! Not only were there local brochures about, our host prepared a recommended list of places to visit and explore. He tailored this to our interests and time frame. The breakfast was very good with home baked goodies....and homemade jams. Very yummy. Fresh flowers on the table, table nicely set, very clean facility. The grounds were beautiful.
Cons: The temperature so that we could have enjoyed the pool and the many sitting areas around the grounds. Our host couldn't control that. For the facility, the shower was a little on the small side and may have been difficult for a larger person (something to consider when booking the one room; other rooms may have had a larger shower - ask the host and he is kind enough to give guidance).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Olivier was the most helpful and friendly host. The house is in such a beautiful part of the world, with stunningly clean and well decorated rooms, the bed was so comfortable I actually miss it! I would recommend the whole experience to anyone.

Pros: Olivier and Estelle were the perfect hosts! They were warm, welcoming and very helpful! The breakfast was fantastic! Their accommodation is beautifully decorated and was outfitted with a fridge, microwave and kitchen supplies. The home itself is a gorgeous, stone building with beautiful views of vineyards and olive trees! Very peaceful and quiet but not far from the towns. The grounds even had a lovely swimming pool and hot tub. Olivier was amazing! He greeted us with a drink and gave us so many good recommendations for places to visit, including spectacular locations that we didn't know about! This was our favourite accommodation on a 3 week visit to France. When we left, we felt like friends as well as guests. We hope to return!

Pros: We love Marie the owner. She made us feel comfortable the first minutes we arrived. She made delicious breakfast every morning and was extremely helpful in advising where to go in the area. The property is charming and our room and bath very clean. Next time we plan a trip to St. Remy we will look forward to staying at this property and seeing Marie again.

Pros: Lovely welcoming host, very hospitable
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed the stay at Marie's place a lot. Marie and her sister in law, Annie, are very welcoming. Once we arrived, Marie greeted us with orange juice and showed us around. Her house has a nice front yard with reasonable parking space. And a backyard with a lovely swimming pool. The house is in gated area and Marie provided us with a remote control. We feel safe parking and sleeping inside and convenient to go in and out without having to bother her. The room itself is way beyond my expectations. I booked a deluxe double room and I ended up getting a well decorated suite with living room, bedroom, vanity room, bathroom. Breakfast was just amazing!
Cons: There were some flies in the front yard. Might be because it's summer time and the neighbor has a horse so we could understand.
10.0 Excellent

Pros: It feels like in a secret garden, beautiful house and warm host. The room is clean and spacious. We really enjoyed the stay after touring Provence. One of the best experience in B&B.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the rooms, beautiful linens, modern bathroom, air conditioning worked well (since it was 35 degrees) pool was lovely. Dinner that we took with the others was delicious, and Caroline was extremely pleasant and accommodating. Very well situated in Provence, with nothing more than 45 min away.
Cons: In our room you could only shower sitting in the tub - so a little inconvenient but the bathtub was beautiful.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Caroline was the sweetest host, and so welcoming! She was so helpful with all the information we needed for the area and even some local very usefull info such as where to go for free parking or where to go for nice local meals! Our breakfast was super yammy and full of flavours from the local food markets
Cons: All was great!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful property with a pool and large dining table outside; the room was tastefully furnished with good design and excellent materials; we had everything we needed for a comfortable night’s sleep, plenty of wardrobe space and drawers for our clothing, good WiFi; the hostess put a very nice breakfast out for us and gave us an excellent restaurant close by for dinner
Cons: The property shares the same address as several others; better instructions would have helped us in locating the property; as it was, we ended up driving into the two properties with the same address and were directed down the lane. Once at the property, we needed a code to open the gate; I had to search through my emails to find the code. Coming back to the property after dinner in town was challenging on dark roads with no street lights.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Everything!!!
10.0 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely everything. A truly beautiful hotel with pretty gardens and lovely pool. Excellent food, wines and service. Owners were warm and welcoming (with a great sense of humour!), and nothing was too much trouble. Every morning they sat down with us to help us plan our itinerary for the day and as a result we visited some wonderful places. Boulbon is a charming village and the locals in the bar and restaurants were also very welcoming. We would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely return.
Cons: Having to leave!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We love boutique hotels and we have had some great experiences worldwide but Jean and Marie Claire are by far the most congenial hosts we have ever encountered. The entire hotel simply feels welcoming. The gardens, where breakfast and dinner are served, are amazingly serene. The rooms immaculate. Great base for day trips around Provence. Be sure to ask Jean for his tour ideas! Very very highly recommended.
Cons: In a smaller village so only one restaurant, other than the hotel’s, in walking distance. But an easy 20 minute ride to Avignon’s hundreds of restaurants.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The house and grounds are beautiful, the owner and staff are very friendly and helpful, the food is good. Loved it!
Cons: The air conditioning was too efficient, it was either on and very cold or off.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Every thing was perfect! From the most friendly and hospitable owners to the cleanest suits. We were surprised by the fact that the owners run the hotel themselves, the nicest people who helped us and did answer all our question. We highly recommend you to stay at the hotel restaurant for a dinner, here we had the most delicious fois gras at beef tartar we have ever tasted, wine was extraordinary as well! Not to mention, the breakfast we had here was amazing as well, we were asked what we wanted to eat and all our requests were satisfied perfectly. Moreover, the architecture and the nature of the hotel deeply impressed us, the most relaxing and beautiful atmosphere you can ever imagine. This was our first and definitely not last stay at La Bastide de Boulbon! We higly recommend you to stay at La Bastide de Boulbon, if you want to fall in love with Provance! I would like to thank Jan&Marie-Claire for their warm welcome and the quality of the stay that they provide. It is the first time I am writing any recommendation and I am happy that my first one is for La Bastide de Bourbon. High quality, the best owners, beautiful Provance!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Stunning setting with a lovely informal feel to the hotel, peaceful and the hotel is just beautifully decorated. The food & particularly the breakfast was excellent.
Cons: The only thing I would suggest as a small improvement is to clean the pool with the pool cleaner in the morning & at night and remove some of the leaves during the day if required (there is a large tree above) but to remove the electronic pool cleaner as it just spoils the pool a little bit.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Claire and Jan provide a 5 star experience. 3 days in Provence left us wanting to come back! Would recommend to everyone!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very relaxing and so lovely with the pool in such hot weather. The rooms were clean, tidy and really well presented.
6.8 Good
Pros: Lovely property in nice quiet setting.
Cons: Not very hospitable. Owner was not at all attentive nor did he or his wife make any attempt or go out of their way to accommodate us. I guess being in the hospitality business means different things to different people.
6.8 Good
Pros: Hotel gardens were beautiful
Cons: There was limited sleep as the church bells a block away rang every hour, it was difficult to get any sleep.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful French style chateau and gardens. So tranquil and relaxing. Excellent location. Very easy for trips to Avignon, Arles and the Pont du Gard. Comfortable room with a great view. We ate dinner one night, it was excellent. I would definitely return and I would recommend it to others.
Cons: It would have been easier if you were allowed to take your own water to the pool or at least help yourself to some. I like to drink a lot of water in the hot weather and it wasn’t always easy to keep asking. We didn’t take breakfast as I thought 17 euros per head was a little expensive.
Le Petit Chateau - Châteauneuf-de-Gadagne - Building
7
9.7 Excellent (67 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Located in Chateauneuf-de-Gadagne, Le Petit Chateau is in a rural location and close to Chateaublanc Golf and Les Grottes de Thouzon. Free self parking is available onsite.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: A very tastefully decorated period property. It really was a pleasure just to be in the house. The room was very clean, a good size with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was great. A good shower with decent shampoo and body wash. Big bathrobes to fit all sizes. The guys working there are lovely. They really care about your stay and the property.
Cons: There’s no parking on the hotel grounds (it’s too small for that), though parking was available less than 100m away. The breakfast is a good quality continental breakfast. They also cook something each day (e.g. pain perdu, pancakes). However, some fresh French pastries wouldn’t have gone amiss.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Le Petit Chateau was stunning and although it looked attractive on the website it was magnificent in reality. In similar properties the owners can be aloof but at Le Petit Chateau the proprietor was very hospitable and welcoming and made our stay a truly special and relaxing experience.
Cons: We liked everything. We did not like having to leave.

Cons: NOTHING
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing place in which I felt like in my own little oasis. The property is very cozy, quiet, with a big garden, and makes you feel like home. Bernie was super attentive and was on top of all to make sure I was comfortable and feeling good in my stay. She gave me tips and recommendations of where to go and the logistic in center town. I took the breakfast in place and enjoyed a lot, specially the homemade marmalade! Would totally recommend this place and will go back if I visit Avignon again.
Cons: Bernie speak Only a little English so take that into consideration, not a problem or issue, just be ready to practice your French or use your phone translator. In my case it was not something that avoided our communication.

Pros: + very nice host + room well equipped (even with AC!) and clean + quiet place + internet works well + very good value for money
Cons: - location is a bit off-site (might be a little inconvinient if you don't have a car)

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice room with kettle and fridge, super clean! The owners are friendly though they speak only a little English. Nice outdoor garden and balcony and very quiet at night.
Cons: Location is a bit out of the city and could be tricky to find without satnav or goole maps.

Pros: The owners are a charming couple and gave us a very warm welcome. Our room was very tastefully decorated. A real plus was to have access to a communal kitchen area, enabling us to prepare our own meals rather than eat out every night, along with free teas and coffees when we wanted. The room is super comfy and high quality furnished. We slept stupendous! On top of that, there is a kitchen available fully furnished. The location is nice, very "provence", but only accessible by car. Breakfast was good too. Highly recommended.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Delightful place and lovely family. Close to Arles, Nimes and Avignon
Cons: Nothing!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful and kind host. We had ground room which was really nicely decorated and exit to the garden is a plus We really liked breakfast. But for sure the best thing is common area where kitchen is. Is such a lovely place to hang out and to met with other guests. B&B is also good located to explore nearby attractions.
Cons: Place is not so easy to find in the evening. There could be some sign already at the main road.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good breakfast . There was also a small kitchen to prepare own meals if wished.
Cons: Wifi was slow at times and oftenlost connection for short periods but this is a rural location and can be expected.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly owner, spacious room, good breakfast. Swimming pool area looks nice although we did not use it. Easy parking.
Cons: Next to a busy road so you can hear cars and trucks passing by quite well.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very nice b&b. We had the double room with garden entrance. The room was very nicely decorated and had good working a/c. The swimming pool was nice, and as it is not a big hotel we had it for ourselves most of the time. We did not realize in advance that we could use the communal kitchen so that was a nice surprise for us. It is equipped with everything that you need and there is an indoor and outdoor seating area. Breakfast was good and fresh. The owners are lovely and the place is super clean. The location is good, within 30 min driving distance of arles, nimes, pont du gard etc.
Cons: The double room is well suited for couples, but as the bathroom is kind of an open concept and the bed a bit small not so much for friends traveling together. As we are a couple it did not bother us and I actually liked the open concept. The reason we are not giving a 10 is that the toilet was not so comfortabel, it was quite low (which was okay for me but not so much for my 2m long husband) and the seat was loose.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Quiet place for a good night of rest in a business trip to the region. The owner very helpful with practical tips and friendly. The room was excellent and I enjoyed my stay.
Cons: Getting the invoice is not easy. Breakfast does not include any cooked meal (eggs for example).

Pros: Mas Armelin is a wonderful place to stay to explore many destinations in Provence. There are a number of restaurants a short drive away. It is a hidden gem that has been decorated and kept to a very high standard and provides very clean and comfortable facilities. The owners go above and beyond to make your stay a pleasant one and are very good at giving advice about the local area. I would highly recommend this as a good base to relax and explore towns and sights in Provence.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: This is a very appealing property. Our room was decorated in a contemporary style while other parts of the property maintained its original features. The hosts were very welcoming & helpful. We enjoyed a pleasant evening & breakfast in the attractive garden.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The location is very beautiful. That was the only thing good about the place.
Cons: The hosts were liars and unreliable; very dishonest, no hot water, breakfast included merely teo slices of bread and two types of cheese. The couple that hosted us was rude and unpleasant. We do not recommend to visit or stay at Mas Armelin

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent hosts who couldn’t do enough to help
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The hosts were really friendly and helpful. The rooms were spotlessly clean on our arrival. And the location was excellent.
Cons: It would have been nice to have had access to a guests' fridge. The owners kindly put our drinks in their own fridge, but then we couldn't access them one afternoon when they were out. Spare pillows in the bedroom would also be good. And for stays of 3 nights or more, it would be a good idea to replenish the shower gel and give the rooms a quick clean at some point.

Pros: We arrived when expected and were warmly greeted and shown to the attractive suite upstairs. There was one room with double bed and one with couch/single and extra television, so we were able to spread out. The view out the windows was of a well-tended pear orchard and we had homemade pear preserves for breakfast.
Cons: There was some confusion about payment since the info from Booking.com said that our credit card would be charged two weeks before our arrival as well as that we would be asked to pay in cash, which we were happy to do.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner is a really friendly women. We were welcomed by a cool mint tea. The house is really nice decorated. I really like the france romantic style. Every morning, she prepared the delicious breakfirst. Each day different color theme. I made a lot of pictures of the dishes and the wonderful roze garden. We had a lot of nice talks, even though we cannot directly communicate with. Because I cannot speak French. But it is no problem. We can understand each other by google translator! We watched the World Cup together! We really enjoy living there and talking with the owner. The view of the room is really wonderful with nice garden and the mountain. 我们非常满意,非常开心,非常难忘。

Pros: The house is simply beautiful, every details have been carefully chosen by Dany the space is bigger than what you see in the pictures ; You have a feeling to be in a fairytale. The breakfast is amazing the homemade jams are just from an other world. But what really give this place 11 points is Dany: she is “tres gentile” so nice and so helpful: despite the fact that she speaks only French she went up and down to organize our days and give us very useful tips she is an amazing host!! Merci Dany!! We want to go back with our kids one day

9.3 Excellent
Pros: What a warm welcome by two beautiful, kind and genuinely caring hosts! It gave us comfort that we communicate properly in English too! Sophie and Uri were so helpful and passionate about their beautiful property. They went out of their way and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable! We LOVED the beautiful property, the apartment we stayed in, it was super clean, had a great shower, wonderful (well equipped!) kitchen with coffee and tea supplied, excellent and reliable internet reception... we loved the huge garden, magnificent pool, the fresh bread each morning... The location is a little bit out of town, on a quiet country road in the middle of fruit orchards, however, it was only 10 min or so drive to l’Isle sur la Sorgue (where we wanted to go)... Perfect for us! Thank you so much Sophie and Uri for a most memorable stay!

Pros: Frederique and Emmanuelle. Everything about the Mas de Miejour is wonderful - location, rooms, toiletries, pool, outside areas, buildings, breakfast, tartines, wine, majestic trees, impressive quince, jujube, kaki - but Frederique and Emmanuelle are the real stars, and made such a difference to our holiday. It was a privilege and a joy to stay with them.
Cons: Rien du tout.

Pros: Delightful hotel with a beautiful garden plus parkland. Rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Staff is helpful. Location is some distance from Beaucaire, no restaurants in the immediate vicinity.
7.5 Good
Pros: We were given a nice apartment with a full kitchen. Very quiet area. Good bed.
Cons: Had to clean out the rubbish in the kitchen bin and clean all the dishes. We didnt really mind, but it’s a bit off putting for guests. Lots of rules about leaving the apartment clean or you will be charged.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We had a nice room up the steps in an old winery. There was a large courtyard with chairs to sit and barbeque facilities and interesting artwork. The pool looked nice, but the weather was too cool for us at the time. Very nice breakfast. Very helpful receptionist as we spoke no French.
Cons: Rolling the suitcases from the car park to the room went over a distance of loose gravel, making it more difficult than it had to be. A solution would be to lay a path of flat paving stones for the luggage. Off the main road about 1 km. but turn was clearly posted by a sign. Keep a sharp eye out for it.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Unique and excellent property. Beautiful gardens and groves. Lovely pool. Great food on site.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed for three nights as we toured the area. The hotel is close to so many of the places we wanted to visit; St Remy, Arles, Avignon, Nimes, all within 15 miles or so. This is a clean, comfortable hotel with a friendly, helpful host. We had the breakfast each day and it was very good with cheese, yogurt, cold cuts, and cereal added to the usual croissant and baguette. We loved that we could get extra coffee and we also enjoyed talking with the other guests staying at the hotel.
Cons: Although the beds are double beds, as most in France are, we would have enjoyed a queen size bed. The double bed was quite comfortable.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Charming place, very clean, central location for exploring the area. Lovely breakfast. Owners very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend the place.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Our room had a large terrace/balcony, which had a view to the lively street. After the long car ride it was a pleasure to have some wine in the sun. Our host was very helpful in every way. He recommended a restaurant Tailles de Bon close to the hotel, and it was really superb. It was a pity, that we were the only clients in Hotel de Provence.
