Pros. Convenience to highway. Staff was nice.
Cons. Pillows
Pros. The hotel was just what we wanted, close to our Grandchildren, clean, comfortable and quiet. The two young women working at the front desk the afternoon we checked in were very kind. We had planned on visiting our children and grandchildren only to find they had become ill and we wouldn't be able to see them that day. The front desk gals were very sweet and sympathetic and allowed us to check in a bit early. Fantastic customer service. We will stay here again.
Cons. This isn't up to the usual DoubleTree standard. Noisy location right next to highway and a gas station, sink and tub drains were both clogged with dirt in tub upon arrival, but worst yet... No one seemed to care and it went unfixed without an apology at checkout.
Pros. Pay the few extra dollars to stay at this hotel. It was beautiful! The rooms were clean and upscale, friendly service, great breakfast, near freeway, great wi-Fi, comfortable sitting area, nice beds. Loved it! Wish we had stayed here all three nights of our Portland visit instead of saving a few bucks and staying in dumps the first two nights.
Cons. Don't love the pet accommodations. Our office chair haf quite a bit of dog fur over it.
