Dinner recommendations were excellent (Roma just down the street) and the communal breakfast was amazing. It was the first time I had pancakes on the Camino.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners are very kind and supportive. They took care of my every need. I had surgeries on both knees a month prior to walking the Camino de Santiago. I was in tremendous pain and knew I would not be able to walk the Camino, so I planned to do it all by Taxi instead. When I arrived my first night before embarking on the Camino, I asked the owner to recommend a Taxi. She took my hands and looked me in the eyes and said "Rose, you will not need a Taxi, you will walk every step of the Camino. The Camino is about miracles. The spirit and energy of all the millions of Pilgrims that have walked the Camino before you will carry you." And they did!! The instant I stepped foot onto the Camino, all my knee pain disappeared. I WALKED the entire way!! It was truly a MIRACLE! It was because of her belief in me and the power of miracles that I was able to walk. THANK YOU!!! I am so glad I stayed at the Casona de Sarria - it changed my life! I Highly recommend The Casona de Sarria!
Cons: Everything was wonderful. Huge delicious breakfast provided. The owners are very attentive and kind.

Cons: We did have a communication issue/misunderstanding about dinner and ended up bringing our own picnic meal. It was still fabulous and the hotel staff took great care of us, even paying for our wine!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: This is a beautiful old casa in the Galician countryside. The owner was so helpful when we arrived dropping us into town so we could get lunch as we had though we could get food at the accommodation but they only do breakfast and dinner. Lovely pool to sit around too.
Cons: The breakfast and dinner could be improved. The menu was a bit limited. It wouldn’t take much to make it a very special place to stay as the house is truly lovely.

Pros: The staff were really nice and helpful, the hostel was right on the Camino route. There was a cafeteria which was operated by the recepceionist where you could buy hot drinks and snacks.
Cons: The hostel was a bit far from the restaurants area which was in the upper area of Saria, but still it was a 10 minutes walk. The room was a little small.

Pros: Good albergue. Rooms were not too big, enough fuses were provided. Showers were clean and had hot water for most of the time. Very helpfull staff! It's the first stop for people on the camino in Sarria so everyone walks by.
Cons: Not too much atmosphere when I was around.

Pros: Very clean and comfortable beds. Provided laundry at additional cost.
Cons: Would have liked the heating on for longer as we had walked in the rain all day and boots and coats were soaking wet.
