friendly staff, close proximity to walks and Roermond, good breakfast n/a
excellent service,clean and friendly staff.
I think it is a nice and good hotel I would like to use another time,
Quite simply? It was a pleasure to come back too. 1/ Bathroom lighting too dark. 2/ Base of beds are very tatty.
good service, location close to a forest (quite rare in NL) Restaurant might be better. The whole place looks like retirement home (style, colors, everything).
it is quit hotel for taking rest no it is very good hotel
nice stuff, good breakfast Could you install japanese fants into the web computer.
Staff efficient, food good, rooms clean, excellent location - maybe A/C could be added we had a very warm few days there - A/C would have been very useful.
good environment no internet access(out of order)
Large, bright airy, room. Good restaurant. Friendly staff
The position was superb (but then we were acquainted with the area). Easy to get to, easy to park, we liked the setup. Breakfast was very good too with a wide and plentiful choice ranging from fried food to fruit. Large foyer with plenty of seating too... I think a lot of people have criticised the lack of coffee/tea facilities in the rooms. We actually took our own along so that we could have a bedtime cuppa! Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The location, free parking and the breakfast was very good. The title "deluxe" in the booking isn't required.
excellent decor and peaceful
The room was great value for money Need tea & coffe making facilities in your rooms. Also an iron and ironing board!
Great location within the town and hi quality food and wine.
Felt like luxury hotel although mid-priced, close to train station with good signage between station and hotel, staff helpful, excellent breakfast. TV Internet very bad, keyboard painfully slow, subsequent charges hidden. This was the only bad thing about my stay. Do not use TV Internet! Use the city library terminals instead.
Convenience to where we needed to visit and the very friendly staff
the polite and friendly attitude of the staff and food nothing
food - good value for money trouble with the TV/movies
Being in the centre of the city was great. Car parking good. Great atmosphere in the hotel, very relaxing stay. Tea and coffe making facilities in the room would have been a nice touch.
For us was a perfect combination of a very nice room with a wonderful meal, we can only say good things about our stay in the hotel.
Friendly and homely athmosphere
- large room, good food - thin towels
Perfect location, ten minutes from lovely town of Roermond and yet set in a park, quiet, rooms luxurious and the owners very helpful and friendly
Smallest castle in the Netherlands, beautiful and stylish. Good bedding. Spacious bathroom. Ipod/iphone dock. Free wireless WIFI. Gourmand dinner. Good breakfast. Reel value for money. Friendly staff with attitude to serve.
All round good experience
The hotel was in a lovely location and easy to find. The suite was very minimalistic, all dark colours and a cold atmosphere. paint was pealing from windows and there were cobwebs on the ceiling. The toilet was seperate from the bathroom in what can only be described as a broom cupboard. After using the toilet you then had to go to the bathroom to wash your hands.
Very friendly efficient staff
Good restaurant (brasserie), helpful staff, very good food Hard to find the small town where hotel was located - very confusing road signs
The whole ambience of the place was very good and relaxed No no no
Staff welcoming and friendly. Beds good. Restaurant food excellent. Little bit noisy at 4:14am when the local night club shut.
A great hotel in the city center. A very good value for a good price.
Wonderful atmosphere of the hotel, unique decor, so refreshing compared to hotel chains. Big room, big bathroom, comfortable beds, very clean. Lovely brasserie, reasonably priced. Charming village, very close to beautiful forrest. The breakfast is dissapointing. We didn't mind not having a proper buffet, but the annoying thing was bread basket, per person 2 paper-thin pieces of supermarket bread + 2 mini rolls. With a lovely bakery around the corner, at least the bread could have been better.
it was cheap The hotel is situated in a very noicy area, lot of bars, a discotheque
Dinner is good. Breakfast is ok. Rooms are small, without airco and situated under the roof. These summer in 2010 was extremely hot(35")
Nice people, good service, very clean City is very quiet
Too poor breakfast
Room comfortable, wifi avaiable in bar Church next door chimes on the hour/half hour every hour
Clean bed, hot shower, good breakfast, Very small room
Unique hotel in historic "Chateaux". Interesting art throughout the hotel.
The hotel was amazing....very clean, very well kept...the breakfast was extensive and all of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Not a thing.
Very nice staff, lovely old building and even the booked comfort room was large room. No public internet acess if you do not have your own laptop.
Personnel is very friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel has excellent atmosphere. Rooms are large, clean and very comfortable, so is the bathroom. Restaurant serves very good dinner and has a fresh and crispy breakfast. One gets real value for money here, price / quality ratio is excellent. Would recommend anyone who has to spend a night in this area to stay in this hotel !
Everything apart from our inconsiderate neighbours at 3 in the morning. The room was fantastic, the food was delicious and the staff were great. I have stayed in may high class hotels and this rates as one of the best. We would definately stay again, hopefully when there is not a conference on!! Book a suite, the rooms are superb Just our neighbours in the suite next door
Wonderful location. Excellent room with Coffee/Tea making facility. Woodland walk adjacent to hotel. Friendly and informative staff. My upgrade to a superior room with no extra charge. No aircon in the newer rooms.
Good manners of staff and quality of food and wine.
weary nice hotel that whent beond my expetations no
Friendly, very relaxing, cosy and good value for money. Not really
Loved the atmosphere/building and staff very attentive
The size and the facilities in the room The walls of the bathroom were not cleaned, even after I had written "clean me" on them! The Restaurant service was slow; I had to go into the kitchen to get the waitress after waiting 15 minutes to order! The bedroom block is 100m from the Hotel facilities.
Relaxing, lovely garden and room. Away from the town. Friendly staff. Good dutch food
Made very welcome, even though arriving early. Restaurant very good. Staff very helpful. Junior suite was very comfortable. Disappointed that Wifi was not available in the junior suite. This should be available in all rooms in a hotel of this standard.
This is a very good hotel a little out of the way but well worth finding I only stayed for one night but would have liked to have stayed longer service and staff are exhalant
This is now the 4th time we have stayed at this hotel, and each time we are made to feel welcome and valued. We stay here when we visit our children.
Friendly staff, cleanliness and comfort, we enjoyed this hotel very much N/A
The staff were very helpful and arranged an appointment at the Vets to get our dog's Pet Passport stamped.
The accommodation was very comfortable and well equiped. The garden restaurant was lovely. An enjoyable experiance being able to eat alfresco.
This is my second visit to this hotel for the reason I enjoyed my first visit so much
Wanted a place to spread out and relax. It was perfect.
I like the breakfast and the dinner of the restaurant. The surroundings are lovely forest. There was no refregigator and toothpaste in the room.
The location was ideal for the purpose of my trip The hotel was good. Signs for parking & hotel guests could be better
Good value, good sized rooms, free WiFi, plentiful free parking, good food at the restaurant - sometimes live music or a footy match in the bar area, decent breakfast.
The purpose of our staying at this hotel was for us to visit Bruggen and we found it to be convenient for this purpose. Should we ever wish to visit Bruggen again in the future we would certainly use this hotel again. We navigated straight to Beesel only to find there was no name on the outside of the hotel.
Very friendly atmosphere, wifi very useful, perfect place to stop on way to other countries We had no dislikes
Excellent accommodation, staff & food
The personnel were very friendly and we've got a great time there. The hotel and the surroundings are very quiet and nice. The WiFi connection is very very poor. Strichtly enough for browsing, but using skype is very troublesome.
Breakfast was included The light in the room was too low and I kept banging my head on it. The man said he would move it.
We liked the hotel and the surroundings. Maybe they can inprove theit breakfast.
Helpful and friendly assistance from all, excellent food in the restaurant.
Room looking directly to the river Maas; historic atmosphere Small spiral stairs to the bedroom possibly not suitable for older or handicapped people
Location, comfort, restaurant, friendliness.
Everything The food and the wine were not good enough to recommend the restaurant for dining out..
Very good dinner with friendly service.
Location and terrace over looking the river There was a fair next door which did not stop until 2.00AM and we were not told. The noise was deafening, not helped by the fact that our window overlooked the fairground.
The food! Delicious and beautifully presented. My understanding of "Split Level" did not envisage the spiral staircase to the bedroom. My husband and I found this difficult as we are both disabled.
Location-quiet town next to the castle ruins. Suite was very large. Restaurant was booked for a party (although we found a nice place on the square).
This would make an excellent "get away from it all" family or small group holiday location. Surrounded by nature (there were deer in nearby woods and fields), but still close to the village (about 1Km) with the usual local amenities. The owner operates a small vineyard, and his wife is a talented art teacher. They were both very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was substantial (continental) and included home-made conserve which is also available for purchase. The only negative point is that there is no taxi service from the railway station, but you may be able to arrange for the owner to collect you and drop you off for a fair charge if you call in advance.
