ideal overnight stay before flying home after a holiday. able to relax by the pool. located in an industrial area, unable to go for an evening stroll.
good location, calm, good prices, excellent quality in their facilities, nice and competent staff, free parking outside and inside which is excellent as its location is near of the city centre although its suroundings are very calm. nice views from some rooms.
Very good clean room. Far enough from Lisbon
Very good hotel with nice pool area but a bit far from everything. The distance is compensated by the good price and the free parking. Lisbon centre is a 15 min car ride depending on traffic.
Hotel first class Hard to find
Unfortunately, I had arrived late from a BA flight (2 hours) and did not really experience the evening - but the hotel reception staff were fine.
The room was spacious and well decorated, The free parking is also a plus.
food and attendance tv with sound and picture problems!
The room was cleane and good for our family with 2 babys. It was a bit difficult to finde the hotel.
Very well presented rooms, extensive & good quality breakfast. Very clean and efficient hotel, very good value for money. Will definitely stay again as a transit stop when having a late flight into Lisbon.
People at the reception and restaurant very kind. The insulation of the window close to the motorway should be better.
Efficient staffs feel like visiting again Food - yes they have to make more options for international tavellers
Opposite a lovely park, it was also an easy departure point for the Airport. I was surprised at the very poor quality of the evening meal which I found to be rather below my expectations and surprisingly expensive, as well. I was also surprised at the absence of local maps and information to help us move about the locale and the city. I found that the excuse that they'd 'run out' to be unsatisfactory. I would have preferred something like 'come back in an hour and we'll have found some for you'.
It is realy great plase, it has wonderfull restaurant, and not far from lissabon, beaches, Sintra.
The staff was kind, The room was confortable and everything was very clean. The common spaces were confortable though a little bit small.
Nice historical building opposite the Palace. Good breakfast. Some minor repairs in bathroom needed.
Carla was very helpful to us - even set up a day tour of Lisbon. The best hostess of our vacation
Beautiful building and very nice staff
It is convenient to get to Lisbon airport next day 1. Did not attempt to accommodate us leaving early for an internatrional flight the next day and had to miss breakfast; other hotels have prepared a little juice and pastry in our room (2) The restaurant served the worst dinner I have eaten in in Portugal. The food was inedible; the staff did not seem to care. A huge waste of money.
It was clean, comfortable, the service was excellent and the food was of excellent quality. They seem to tolerate smoking in rooms even when their policy is a no smoking policy.l
Guys, seriously my advice: whatever you do just do not go there…. It maybe cheap or convenient but this is the most disgusting place I have ever stayed. It is not a hotel but a night shelter for builders. The place where they serve the breakfast it is a room in a fire station and you will share the table with the smelly, dirty builders…. You gonna run away as we did!
it is a little bit difficult to find
Staff friendliness. Construction was going on the street, so poor view. No AC in the room.
Cheap Hot, no air con, run down
Cheap place. Nice staff. Cold room and atmosphere. Low space in the shower. No wireless internet.
This is a basic hotel, with mostly friendly staff but rather run down premises. I stayed in the deluxe room with private bath. The latter was ok in size and with bathtub, but the former was too small to move around comfortably and had only a small desk with one plastic chair. It had a balcony overlooking the noisy Gardens. Breakfast was buffet style and generous in quantity if not quality. A metro station is ten minutes' walk away, and from there it's about 30 minutes to either downtown Lisbon or Sintra. The hotel is just across from the Amadora Gardens, which are filled with people at any moment of the day and in particular include playgrounds with screaming children. The continuous noise from trains and buses, and not the least by airplanes, complemented the scene. It was impossible to have a moment of rest during the day and until midnight. Very thin divisions between the rooms also meant additional noise. Unless you are a very sound sleeper, not recommended.
Close to the airport You could hear all the other rooms and there was a lot of noise during the night
The service There was a funny smell in the room
Seemed safe place and neighborhood. Hotel is next to train station thus very very noisey. Accommodations are very basic. Unscreened open window facing train station right accross from hotel thus, very noisy til after Midnight. Unscreened open window the only source of air. One very very sm bathroom for eight rooms on the floor and the hand basin leaked so floor was always wet and nasty from street shoes and showering. Comment to lady at front desk completely dismissed. No fan, very sm twin beds . If on a very tight budget or last minute accommodation needed it is good for short stay.
