Pros: Very quiet location, off the beaten path. Perfect rest after a long motorbike trip.
Pros: So close to the motorway and yet so far. You find yourself deep in the countryside. The stars at night are lovely as there are no street lights around. Lovely, friendly big dog. Gave me kisses. Gisele was very friendly and wanted to make sure we had everything we needed. She made us a lovely breakfast. Great for peace and tranquility. Great for a break in our journey. Lots of countryside to explore
Pros: Wonderful location if a little hard for our GPS to find! Best to print out the internet map for certainty. Very warm welcome, lovely comfy bed and plenty of tea and coffee. We didn't have the breakfast as we were leaving early. great location for the dogs and us for a well earned night stop. Many thanks!!!
Pros: What an amazing place to stay. It's secluded and peaceful but also full of love and life with friendly animals and a most generous and welcoming host. We would have liked to have stayed there a week! There was also a lot to do nearby such as visit lakes, go canoeing or explore the forests and nature. Only 45 minutes from the coast meant it was close enough to visit the beaches but far away enough to avoid the traffic. We couldn't have been happier.
Cons: Nothing, it was perfect.
Pros: The owner Gisele was charming and spoke perfect English. Her dog and the cats were friendly. It was very quiet and peaceful, but not easy to find
Cons: A bit on the spartan side, but on the whole OK.
Pros: The property was excellent and had a lovely calm feel to it. Giselle, our host, could have not been more helpful and she was a really lovely lady. Provided a wonderful breakfast and was so helpful in ensuring my wife, who has dietary restrictions, was well looked after. Situated in a wonderful setting with woods all around. Very highly recommended and we very much hope to return. Thanks Giselle for making our stay so enjoyable.

Pros: Only a room is at your disposal. All other places you share with the owner of the house. This introduces some discomfort. But everything is very clean neat. The owner is very friendly.
Cons: Only a room is at your disposal. All other places you share with the owner of the house. This introduces some discomfort. But everything is very clean neat. The owner is very friendly.
Pros: Gerard the host was a great guy.
Cons: A small B&B, perfect room, great value, great host.
Pros: great french breakfast and beautiful location, with very kind host, merci beaucoup Gerard!
Pros: very friendly & obliging owner
Pros: Excellent room and breakfast - host very helpful
Pros: Monsieur Gerard is a very friendly, attentive and discreet host. We enjoyed conversations with him which gave us insights into life in the area. His house is spotlessly clean and our bedroom very comfortable. We felt very relaxed with sharing his home. Gerard provided a lovely breakfast of breads, jams and fruit. La Salles has a variety of restaurants and small shops for everyday needs. It is well situated for trips to the coast (La Dune du Pilat, Le Bassin d'Arcachon).
Pros: Friendly owner. Monsieur Gerard is a very nice person, fresh french baguette was for the breakfast.
When you stay at Domaine du Pont de l'Eyre in Salles, you'll be by the ocean and steps from Landes de Gascogne Regional Natural Park. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Really friendly, lovely place, large parking area, rooms are very large and comfortable, quiet. Great food and choice along with bar. Would highly recommend stopping for a night or 2
Cons: The only thing that we didnt like was the lack of shower in our room, instead it had a huge roll top bath, which was lovely and in keeping with the atmosphere a shower would have been nice.
Pros: Hotel is cosy and has lovely staff including the owners. The restaurant serves excellent quality cuisine and I observed the plates are returned with no morsels remaining. Experience is a welcome sojourn when visiting the region and if the weather permits, sit outside in the garden area to hear the birds chirping.
Pros: Food served at Dinner was good. Breakfast individually served was fine and good value for money
Cons: Room allocated to us was very close to a busy road and therefore it was very noisy. Certain sections outside but within the Domaine were generally untidy.
Pros: Great location for our journey down western France. Our room was very comfortable and clean. The staff were very friendly, polite & spoke excellent English. The highlight of our stay being our evening meal in the restaurant, it was fabulous!
Cons: Nothing to dislike.
Pros: Delicious food. Warm welcome. Very spacious room. Deep bath. Comfortable bed. Quiet.
Pros: The hotel is a mix of traditional french with modern bits. Good off road parking The room was what you would expect from the style of property Bed very comfy room clean and a good bath & shower Good acces lift etc The food! Well if you like your food the chef is Michelin star standard (in our opinion)
Cons: Breakfast! The Croissants were deliciuos & all the other sweet pastries good as I ate most until I hit top sugar level. But if you do not like sweet food for breakfast you are stuffed because there was no offer of aother choice apart from yougurt. My wife had just the bread roll & butter to eat?? No option of Ham or cheese or fruit Or cerial Ah well its the french way I suppose (we survived on the memory of the evining meal)
Pros: Comfortable beds, large room, very quiet location and above all a really excellent dinner and good choice at breakfast.

Pros: Breakfast was pretty good, but dinner in the restaurant attached was amazing, I had the most delicious Black Pudding I was still thinking about it for days after.
Cons: bathroom was small but everything was comfortable.
Pros: Can’t remember of anything
Cons: Don’t quite understand how I opened by mistake the door from another room with my room key. Easy to assume that someone can enter my room also. Didn’t feel safe. We were 2 people with one bath towel! Basic facilities, not good value for money
Pros: Staff were friendly and they made space available to us in the restaurant
Pros: Easy location
Cons: A little bigger room.
Pros: The location was good. The room had a couple of problems. Nice reception area.
Cons: Bathroom sink plug did not function at all. Door handle to bathroom loose.
Pros: Excellent restaurant and the prices are good

Cons: Bathrooms are smelling
Pros: Family owned ; warm welcome and service.
