Perfect location to visit some of the nost attractive white villages/towns of Andalucia. The hotel itself justifies its 4-star grading - clean and comfortable rooms and a rich buffet breakfast. Would return there gladly! Can't thing of anything. Maybe a heated swimming pool for off-season, but that would be quibbling.
fantastic view, great pool area, comfortable rooms, good location to explore the white villages the rental bikes were not in condition to drive in the demanding surrounding area. We decided not to rent them even if we would have really liked to, No helmets were available either.
Reception staff spoke excellent English, and were amazingly sympathetic and helpful with a problem we had with our hire car.
Very good location. Breakfast was the best we had in Spain.
Very friendly staff , especial reception.Good selection breakfast, very family friendly or for a week-end break
We had a great stay at this hotel. our room was modern, clean and psacious with a deck the lead onto the grass and village/mountain views.
The staff were extremely polite and helpful and the rooms very clean. Previous comments regarding the evening buffet we thought were unfounded and the breakfast was very good with a wide choice. We thought that in view of the fact there were no cafe facilities that the evening buffet could be served before 8.00pm
Situation, pool, staff Breakfast poor - no fruit, no yoghurt, Ham processed.
Fantastic location and views Single beds too short for tall clients
Easy car parking, quick walk into town. Lack of Kettle in room, it would have been nice to make a hot cup. Found the bar area a bit quiet. Breakfast selection somewhat limited for vegetarians etc
comfortable, clean, beautiful environment
The hotel staff were professional and genuinely pleasant. The situation was close to the village. Restaurant was excellent and prices were sensible. Flushing system on toilet needs sorting.
A nice rustic hotel but could have been much nicer with updating. Very much in need of updates and renovation.
hotel location superb, very peaceful, staff very helpful and restaurant food great. Good value. Could find nothing to complain about
The setting is very pretty. The breakfast was good. The staff was nice It was too big and rustic for our needs, it would be good for a family.
Proximity to village of Grazalema. Facilities for walkers. Slightly limited menu in Restaurant, but other options in the village.
Very good views of village and countryside from our room on first floor and from comfortable dining room swimming pool out of service ( not fault of hotel ).
The hotel is traditional, spacious, light Spanish hotel. The staff are very pleasant and helpful, and the rooms large with balconies. I didn´t try the restaurant as I ate out. Altogether, a very nice and comfortable hotel with a very welcome swimming pool. I thought the previous comments on the "old" furnishings unfair. The swimming pool filtration unit. This machine thumped away all day and all night preventing any reasonable sleep. Why? - Surely the hotel could build sound insulation around it. This is the sole bad aspect of the hotel (otherwise excellent) and why I would not go back.
Lovely setting , close to many places to visit and great countryside walks, good restaurant. Cabins are not very comfortable , lumpy beds , hard sofa , better furniture would be an improvement
The setting is beautiful and the whole hotel, pool area and dining room/bar has been well done. The food was good and at a fair price and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is a good base for Grazalema, Jerez and Sevilla should you wish to do some exploring.
The staff were very friendly at reception offering advice on places to eat in the surrounding area and calling taxis for us. We were very lucky that even though at the height of summer, it wasn't overcrowded and we had the feeling of being the only ones there. The log cabin we stayed in was very cute and had a balcony facing west which was perfect for sunset drinks! Pets are welcome and it really was a perfect atmosphere for that 'get away from everything' feeling. I feel it could do with having a bar by the pool instead of having the guests traipse back to the main building to get drinks or snacks. There were enough sunbeds and umbrellas for the time we were there, but during busier times it might do better with having more.
excellent location for a relax weekend break and the food was lovely the cabin didn't have a fireplace
location, view, service, all excellent, pity it was such a short stay.
Like to be at home (I´m Spanish-Finnish)
Ccn if possible or like international channel
friendly hotel, good atmosphere, value for money the hotel was closed thursdayevening because weekly leave of personnel, this was only communicated in Spanish by a message on the frontdoor which we did not understand, so we were very surprised we could not have our dinner in the hotel but had to search for for food in the late night in the village (pueblo !)
Location ; edge of town i.e no parking problem. Nil.
The kind attention of the Owner/Manager who explained the rural countryside and the history of the area. Beware that the excellent Restaurant is closed ton Wednesday and Sunday evenings!
Quiet, with panoramic view.Central location for touring "Pueblos Blancos". Front of hotel would benefit if cleared of debris etc and flowers placed around the parkimg area.
Very good hotel to visit Sierra de Grazalemma and Frontera Regions. Nice large swimming pool. Helpful staff. Balcony rooms on the backside (pool) of the hotel are much preferable in the summer heath. rooms lack fridge and adequate aico
A good base for touring the mountains
We stayed in the country villa. Nice surroundings and probably a fantastic place for a family to stay in the summertime. The villa is well equiped if you like to cook yourself. Ronda and Arcos are very close and worth a visit. Very friendly and English speaking hotel owner. The food in the restaurant was rather average in quality.
