Friendly staff, good room, excellent shower. Close to a noisy road junction especially in early hours..had to get up at 5am most mornings to close the shutters to reduce this noise. Unable to turn off heater under window - made room rather warm when shutters were closed. Breakfasts very poor and spartan - especially Sunday morning. Low quality white rolls and a croissant if you were lucky. Hotel incredably ran out of butter on Monday morning - we bought our own in the end! Restaurant in the basement rather poor. We ate there on our first night and paid E13.00 for steak & chips. Ate out the next 4 nights - Il Rifugio twice, Hotel Grillo, Ciusa and paid the same price for much much better value and quality.
A very welcoming place with friendly staff
The breakfast was very good. The furniture and decoration were modern, with a very clean appearance. The staff were kind. There was a computer with internet in the main lounge and wireless in rest of the building. There is really nothing to point out in this case. A really good value for the money.
The location was good to get in and out of Nuoro The restaurant was closed, which was not communicated in the booking email
The staff was very nice The furniture is old
Room Services very good Staff very helpful Some parts of the hotel were tired and in need of some restoration, in particular the bathroom and shower cubicle. I would recommend this hotel after these points were rectified.
panoramic view, design look-and-feel
The terrace view, staff service and the clean modernist rooms
Clean modern rooms, friendly reception Location is poor - you need a car, and not so great views as advertised
Spotlessly clean, friendly staff. Sky TV not working.
A very business like hotel with excellent shower and friendly staff to serve the evening meal, which was in itself simple but good (what we wanted at the time).
We made a mistake in choosing to stay at Nuoro in the first place. The hotel is probably nicest place to stay in Nuoro but we wouldn't want to go near Nuroro again. Worst city we visitted in Sardinia. Breakfast pretty poor when to compared to other Sardinian hotels.
The staff are very kind and helpfull and speak English. The hotel is modern and very comfortable. The breakfast good with meats and cheese. The coffee is made-to-order by kind staff. We will stay here again if we return.
We liked it very much!
Spotlessly clean, friendly staff No dislikes
It is a 3* hotel and the services, cleanliness, room equipment, breakfast, etc is in agreement with this category; sky programmes available (something that you do not have in quite a lot of 4* hotels in Sardegna). Very helpful people at the reception. absolutely to be recommended. Eurohotel is a little bit far from the center and from the bus station, nothing nevertheless 'dramatic'. But ... Nuoro is now - July 2010 - changing the bus station localisation and ... the new one - besides the train station will be very close to Eurohotel (let's hope that the public works will be finished ... "soon')
The staff was very accomodating, spoke English, and personable. The entire building was spotless.
Absolutely spotless, very good buffet breakfast. The exit on the highway is very confusing and makes it a bit difficult to find the hotel. Once this is over, it's really worth the money.
It was comfortable, beds no really, and centrtal to our travel plans in Sardinia
staff very welcoming and lovely views from the rooms having visited in October the weather was disappointing so it would have been good to have a comfortable indoor lounge to use as it was too cold to sit on the lovely terraces
Pleasant Sardinian restaurant with freshly made ingredients (prepares its own smoked meats in a parlor opposite). Friendly staff. Great views from room and during breakfast. Perfect for tranquil stay and/or trekking/cycling in nature. Excursions to nearby villages (rather small) possible but better to drive further to more interesting sights. Need a car to get around from airports (Cagliari or Olbia). Drive past nearest city Nuoro and go to Su Nuraxi (southwards) or Alghero (westwards) on the coast.
family run hotel with a personal touch. no bar or lounge to relax in after the evening meal. The dinning room lighting was a little dim.
The welcome was great, the staff were extremely helpful and informative and guided us to many interesting places in the area.
The excellent warm service of all staff and the beautiful room.
Welcoming and relaxing. Helpful and very professional staff. Lovely food - breakfast and dinner. Great base for exploring the interior of Sardinia. Unusual and attractive hotel which seemed to be a popular destination and resource for local people and tourists alike. Loved the decor and use of local talent and craftsmanship. Particularly liked the various balconies and loggia which gave lovely views, shade and ease and fitted all moods. None.
Fantastic staff, lovely pool (which we had to ourselves most of the time) fab pizzas (weekends only) and good restaurant. Room spacious and spotlessly clean.A very friendly welcome. Not much to do in the area (exactly what we wanted!)
The hotel is located very far from the nearest beach. Service basic with limited access to hotel facilities. Mainly a restaurant but with strange reservations ( dinner could be arranged but was dependent on the number of customers that would have lunch !!!!). Breakfast was served on plastic plates and cups and was cookies and other processed bread-like products, bought from the supermarket. Room was extremely small without a table but with a view to the backyard overlooking at an ufinished construction. This type of room was given despite the fact that the hotel was almost empty. Doors were closing at 22:00 and to enter you had to ring the bell at the outside door. In general not recommended.
