9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very tranquil with great staff. Comfortable beds. Great swimming pool. Beautiful terrace for dining.
Cons: The food in evening could have been hotter and came very quickly after starters. We didnt need the load intrusive music around pool in afternoon.
8.0 Excellent

Cons: food was a bit disappointing on the first night but improved a lot on our second night.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff, venue were excellent
Cons: Food could of been a little better as with the prices for food and drink
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We went to the hotel for a relaxing break with the intentions of doing nothing other than relaxing and completely chilling out. The hotel is superb for that type of break, superb very attentive staff, superb rooms and lovely dining facilities.
Cons: Nothing.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was very good. Location excellent. Staff were very friendly but seem to lack training in dealing with what is expected of such a quality hotel.
Cons: The hotel just needed to give attention to the little extras that make staying in such a beautiful place a exceptional experience.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The views were beautiful and rooms comfortable food was fairly good staff were lovely
Cons: It was starting to look a bit tired in places and showed some signs of this
8.3 Excellent
Pros: We liked the tranquillity and location of this hotel. The pool was lovely. Our room was perfect - eventually! Public rooms were impressive and the food was good.
Cons: As has happened with previous booking.com arrangements we were shown to an unacceptable room - small and in the roof so you could hardly stand up. You had to stoop to see out of the little windows which were at floor level. After a great deal of protest by my husband we were shown to a much better room. Although the food was good the restaurant and bar staff were inexperienced and lacked guidance which was frustrating.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast, lunch and dinner were awesome. Staff amazing, friendly and efficient, nothing too much trouble. Hotel, bedroom, etc all above expectations, but above all else the location, is truly spectacular and tranquil. A real hidden gem
Cons: cant think of anything
10.0 Excellent

7.0 Good
Pros: The town is a nice little town. The hotel is situated right in front of a historic site.
Cons: We had a sleepless night because of a loud sound on the roof. We asked to be moved but was told that there was no other room available. La maquinaria del aire acondicionado central hacia un ruido y vibraciones muy molestas. Imposible dormir.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were upgraded and spent the night in a suite overlooking the quaint Plaza Mayor. Superb evening meal followed by a tasty breakfast in the morning. Peaceful location for couples looking for something a bit different
Cons: Nothing!
7.5 Good
Pros: I like the hotel and the staff was very nice & friendly. Food was good, but unfortunately for vegetarians - very limited, taking menu degustacion - we got the same dish twice:( I would have liked more variety. The breakfast was little boring, eggs would have been nice. Overall it was a nice experience to have once.
Cons: Limited vegetarian options Bad internet connection in the room
6.8 Good
Pros: This hotel is nice, but it really in the middle of nowhere, although I guess I should have checked that first. The parking is a long way from the hotel. The restaurant was closed during my visit, although the local lady who opening the hotel for me left me some food to microwave myself.

Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My brother and I had cycled 60+kilometres up hot, winding roads from Castalla to get to Confrides and the single local bar did not have any food when we stopped there for a beer en route to Pension el Pirineo. The property had already stated that there was no food available so we expected to eat only a packet of nuts or crisps for the night! But how wrong we were, despite a brief joke about being closed, (we had the place to ourselves) the owner said his wife would ‘knock us up some pasta or something’ and we were so relieved at their kind gesture. But not only did they give us some food, we had a three-course meal washed down with beers and wine! After a hot shower we tucked into a fantastic homemade courgette soup, followed by a melt-in-the-mouth shank of lamb and then an ice cream sundae! Naturally this was all added to our bill but needless to say, we were bowled over by their typical Spanish hospitality and willingness to accommodate us. Had they not, we would have gone hungry, which, when you're cycling again the next day and need fuel, is not a great situation. Muchos gracias!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice staff. Great views from the room.
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Rafa and his staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant serves home cooked local food which is very good and reasonably priced. Recommend the oven baked lamb and wild boar stew. Swimming pool clean and well cared for. Rooms are a good size and beds very comfortable, this is a pension not a hotel, so don’t expect hotel room service, beds are not made and clean sheets and towels have an extra cost. It was lovely to sit outside in a evening having a drink and looking at the views.
Cons: Couldn’t get anything to eat between 4pm and 8.30pm, other than crisps, nuts etc.. but that isn’t unusual in rural Spain.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We used this as a Base for a family holiday, it's location was perfect for us to visit the safari park, the fonts de algar and the Dino Park and also Guadalest... Rafael the owner couldn't have been more eager to help us in any way and the cleanliness of the whole hotel was impeccable...would highly recommend

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Friendly owners, really helpful with my dietary requirements. Quite a quirky place with lots of character.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Pilar the hotel owner was extremely helpful and welcoming and made our stay very enjoyable. Due to a bad experience in the following hotel we had booked into we were able to return to Casa Pilar and enjoy a further two nights stal. Thank you Pilar.
Cons: A more substantial shower curtain that didn’t cling to you when showering would be good .. but I’m being very picky !!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were lucky enough to be there for the Easter Sunday parade around the town with the excellent local brass band.
Cons: We were unlucky enough to be there for the Easter Saturday night celebration which was very loud until very late, though if we'd had more energy we might have enjoyed that too.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Cosy and quaint, very friendly staff, lovely couple
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very pleasant hosts, cosy place to stay. Great outlook from the balcony. Fascinating rode amidst mountains.
Cons: Lack of sound isolation. If there is any loud activity outside or inside the house, you will hear it.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast and evening meals excellent really nice family. Really good views from terrace.
6.8 Good
Pros: The room is clean, the breakfast is good, the hosts are nice, but all of these are greatly discounted by their false statement about distance from Guadalest.
Cons: The hotel states that it is 11 kms from Guadalest, which is not true and can put guests into extreme dangerous situation. They stated this way for the purpose of luring more guests who visit Guadalest to stay here. But actually this house in the village of Castell de Castells has a distance of more than 40 kms from Guadalest. If someone tries to follow what it says to go by the road 11 kms (actual distance is 16 kms), he would be risking the danger of trying to bring a car on a very bad, winding, and steep road over the mountain peak that is only good for a four wheel drive vehicle, which can cause fatal accident. I strongly urge the hosts of this b&b should take this misguiding statement away. The host kept my passport overnight, which I dislike extremely.
7.5 Good
Pros: Very friendly owner who was very helpful.

Cons: Nothing really.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff and an excellent breakfast where there was plenty to keep us going for a day's hiking. Bed was comfortable and a nice hot shower too.
Cons: We missed a few things like Wi-Fi in the rooms, a hairdryer in the bathroom and a couple of chairs on the balcony to sit and enjoy the sunshine. The room also didn't keep the heat very well. And the spa was actually just a Jacuzzi and cost 20 euros per person which we felt was a bit overpriced.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Very nice place and people!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel exceeded our expectations.
8.3 Excellent
Cons: Extra's (sauna) was mentioned on the site, but not in use.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked that the staff were were very friendly and helpful. I liked that when I injured my arm due to sticking it up into the extremely low hanging ceiling fan in the room, the owner of the hotel was there who had been a nurse before retirement, was able to patch me up. I liked the food. I liked being able to bring my pet.
Cons: I didn't like the fact the pool wasn't part of the hotel..it was public.. I didn't like the fact the ceiling fans in the rooms were so low hanging and dangerous. I didn't like being quoted a price for my meal and it being increased when I got to the till. I didn't like the fact that the pool had late opening hours and early closing hours!!
