8.0 Excellent
Pros: Bed very comfortable and quiet location. A warm welcome on arrival.
Cons: Only flimsy curtain on glazed door in our room, Would greatly benefit from a blackout blind or curtain for privacy and to keep out the morning light when trying to sleep.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The outside space is excellent for children; a large trampoline, swings and slides and fixed goalposts plus picnic table. Breakfast is a relaxed help yourself continental with the owner keeping everything topped up. Beds were super comfy and bathrooms immaculate. Very warm, friendly welcome and service throughout - includes the resident dog! Thank you
Cons: Nothing, honestly!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The room is spacious and Sparkling clean. The beds are very comfy. Views are good and the surrounding is quiet.
Cons: The breakfast could embody better the farm spirit by introducing more local products than using supermarket brands:)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Breakfast excellent.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Peaceful and charming! The owners really nice
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Room excellent, loads of things for the kids to do outside.
Cons: We booked 2 adults 2 children. However booking.com pushed us to order breakfast through them, which was communicated to the property as 4 adults. Child breakfast is cheaper but we were charged for 4 adults. So order breakfast direct when you arrive (this is as much booking.com's fault as the hotel's).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast..very peaceful location..very friendly and helpful hosts..well maintained grounds..beautifully decorated room..
Cons: A huge disappointment that the owners had no record of our booking on the system when we arrived at the property..the beautiful room we had booked through booking.com last October and had been really looking forward to, was no longer available. To be fair to the owners, they were very apologetic and provided with another room which was tastefully decorated but was nonetheless no match for the room we had originally booked. As a way of compensating us for the error, they gave us the room at a reduced rate and provided us with breakfast free of charge which we did appreciate. It was such a beautiful property in a very peaceful location that we would consider returning next year but what a disappointment that our booking failed to show up on their system.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely everything!
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Wonderful apartment, incredibly welcoming hosts. Would stay again!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous location near both beach and harbour / restaurants etc. Lovely host (thank you!), quiet and peaceful; great breakfast. Everything about this is great. Choice of good restaurants and creperies 5 minutes walk away in the pretty harbour area, and a superb beach 5 minutes walk; also unexpected nature reserve just outside the village. Sandrine is a perfect host. Just book it; you'll be glad you went.
Cons: A shower screen might have kept the bathroom floor drier. But we loved everything to be honest!
Stang Roz House - Quimper - Building

With a stay at Stang Roz House in Quimper, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Cathedral of Saint Corentin of Quimper and Museum of Earthenware Quimper. Free self parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We just loved everything, from the charming room to our wonderful hosts. Breakfast was delicious with Marianne’s home made jam. We were made to feel so welcome almost one of the family. We certainly hope to return to this very pretty Hansel and Gretel style house and meet Marianne and Pierre once more.
Cons: Absolutely nothing to dislike.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely place. Very relaxing. You won't be disappointed. Quimper 10 minutes away - great medieval town. Note: if you are there Sunday and Monday then most shops are closed
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed at Stang Roz House for 3 nights and we simply loved it. The house and the room are tastefully decorated with authentic details and the garden is stunning! It was very clean with a comfortable bed. Marianne and Pierre are the kindest hosts and the breakfast was the best we've had during our trip through France (delicious croissants, pudding, jams and fresh fruit). Also, they had great recommendations on sightseeing and dinner during our time there, such as visiting the city of Quimper or a beautiful marina nearby.
Cons: -
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is an exquisite place to stay and you will be very lucky if you are able to stay here. It is not far from downtown Quimper yet seems set in the countryside. The house is old but beautifully decorated and modernized. The room is beautiful with a little coffee nook, large bedroom and lovely bathroom. The owner is friendly and speaks fluent English and has done the wonderful decorating with antiques. There is a private terrace outside the bedroom’s French doors. The linens are upper class and the bed is very comfortable. We loved the breakfast and our entire stay.
Cons: Everything is perfect.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: House is in countryside and very quiet despite being close to the city. Room beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. Pierre and Marianne gave us excellent suggestions on restaurants, local places to visit and drives in this beautiful part of Brittany. We felt it was like staying with friends rather than a normal B&B.

Pros: Good food, v comfy bed, spacious room and very friendly hosts with perfect English.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everithing was excellent. The location, in a middle of a clearance, yet not too far from Quimper, the wonderful garden, the room, our terrace where we could spend our evenings after touring the Finistere, our kind host - special thanks for making us feeling like home

Pros: Where do you start a review of such a special place. every thing about Stang Roz is stunning, but best of all was our lovely host,Marianne, & of course the dog & cat... we will be back ,hopefully to see the glorious garden in full bloom....Thank you again for everything,,,
Cons: Only complaint is that we could not stay longer,.Three days was not enough..

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Charming, helpful staff. Beautifully decorated and maintained property. Great views. Lovely setting.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location is fantastic, with a lovely shaded garden and a superb view over the harbour, not forgetting the cool breeze well appreciated during the hot season
Cons: The restaurant disappointed us, good and aiming at being a top class place, but a number of dishes are mixing too many tastes and that kills the thing. A bit less sophistication would be more appreciated.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful setting on the river estuary. The garden is surrounded by water. Very comfortable rooms and walking distance to a lovely beach.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, wonderful staff
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful location with beautiful views over the estuary. Dry peaceful. The restaurant was exceptional with plenty of interesting surprises.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful house, with sea view and peaceful atmosphere Great staff Great 1-star restaurant
Cons: Limited facilities in low season Pretty expensive for low season
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Large window in bar with a great view of the Odet river. Staff friendly and professional. Large comfortable bed in superior double room. High standard of fittings in the bedroom & bathroom. Great location with several restaurants very close by & ferry to Benodet. Lovely grounds with waterside tables (shame about the weather when we were there!)
Cons: Comfort room a little small for two people for 4 nights (OK for us as we had single occupancy). Bar prices were very high. The only hotel restaurant is Michelin-starred, so we had to eat out during our 4-night stay; however the hotel runs the Bistrot du Bac on the quayside, which is very good for seafood. I was charged a large £42.42 fee for paying in Euros by Visa, which wasn't made clear when booking, I only discovered it when my credit card statement arrived :-(
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location and modern rooms in an old building
Cons: Breakfast should be included in the room rate.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: After a long drive we were greeted by Sylvie with a nice cup of French Tea, thank you Sylvie. Nice comfortable room great continental breakfast set in nice surrounding country side. Great for undisturbed sleep couldn't here a thing. This suited us as we were visiting family in Benodet only a short drive away :-)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything - being upgraded to the garden apartment with lounge and dining area, spacious bedroom and bathroom and access immediately onto the patio and garden. We loved the bird singing, the large beautiful trees, the cared for garden, the cut grass and the meadow beyond with wild flowers and grasses. We loved having free use of good bikes. We loved the peace and serenity of the place. Sylvie, the host, was charming and helpful, spoke very good English but enabled us to use our limited French! We had the option of her serving our delightful breakfast on our private bit of terrace or doing our own. If you can afford it (11 euros per person), it's worth every penny. The Domaine is situated outside of Benodet but close enough to cycle on trails into the centre (less than 1 mile) and is an idyllic place to stay. We were the only guests but understand that most guests stay there to enjoy the peace. A bottle of Cidre was placed on our table at our arrival, a lovely extra touch which we enjoyed sitting outside in the sunshine. Extra touches were a very wide and exceptionally comfortable bed with spotless linen, clean towels each day and a wonderful spacious shower. We loved it and would certainly stay there again.
Cons: We had no English speaking TV channels.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect relaxed location, feeling being at home. Nice and very helpful in suggestions for places to visit owner/hostess! We got a cup of fresh coffee with biscuits first thing after arrival!
Cons: WiFi connection could be improved.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The lady our host was so friendly and relaxed

Pros: Excellent choice at breakfast

8.3 Excellent
Pros: The building, location and hotel furnishings were very nice and clean.
Cons: The lack of passion. The service and breakfast was passable nothing more than that. And the young girl working at the desk found extra requests disturbing and showed it! The local bed and breakfasts show more passion for their customers. With different management, this hotel could score a 10!
6.8 Good
Pros: Easy walk to town. Good parking options. Beds comfortable.
Cons: Rooms are as per photos but need snagging, the shower leaks onto the floor. No milk with the coffee and only fruit teas on offer in the room. Not a lot of storage in the room and no mirror in the room - just the bathroom. Early check-in not possible even though we saw guests leaving at 11.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is located in an old priory, about ten minutes away from the town centre. It is a beautiful walk along the river. The place is lovely decorated. I needed a reading lamp for the room, and ist was immediately provided.
Cons: There is no fridge in the room. We would also have liked a mirror in our room
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was the very best hotel in our 5 week vacation. Clean, comfortable and friendly. Lovely and helpful in every way. Great value and we recommend to all. Happy Aussies
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very modern hotel. At the time of our visit it was exceptionally hot so we upgraded to an air-conditioned room. This was very comfortable and spacious. The air-con was very efficient and controllable. The staff were friendly and personable. The free car park was on site and had plenty of space.
Cons: The location is a good walk from the town centre. There are some bars and restaurants nearby but you need to go into town if you want a good variety.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Probably the cleanest room I have ever had. Good location nice interior design.
Cons: Nothing really I would definitely recommend staying here
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The location was quiet and picturesque alongside the River Odet, and the private parking was an additional bonus. Breakfasts were good and varied, fresh fruit and local sweet delicacies featured as well as cheeses, ham and different types of fresh breads and cereals, plus juice, tea and coffee.
Cons: It seems mean to complain when the staff are all so very friendly and helpful, but this place is very much a work in progress, newly opened and needing some refinements - for example the rooms lacked a safe or mini-bar, and there were no shower caps either. Our bathroom had a lovely stone basin but the plug to retain the water didn't work (it should have turned into place but was jammed open - we reported this and were told it would be sorted but somehow wasn't. We also asked for a glass of rose, advertised on their bar list, one afternoon to be told they had none, as was the case with Earl Grey teabags. All little things but not really acceptable in an hotel of this standard. The rooms are very spacious and the beds and bedding are top quality, helped by the aircon which was much needed, so it's a case of watch this space....and hope the improvements come sooner rather than later.
6.3 Good
Pros: Quiet place
Cons: First hotel ever, which doesn’t offer eggs for breakfast! We asked twice. In a family suite is a big comfortable bed for 2 and 1 uncomfortable sofa.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is in the location of a former Abbey near the river and an easy walk from the centre of town. The rooms are furnished in a modern style. We had booked a superior room but were moved to a junior suite as there was a problem with the bathroom. The receptionist handled this with polite and concerned attention which we appreciated. The garden area at the front of the hotel is very pretty with nicely placed seating. The beds were deeply comfortable and the quiet provided an excellent atmosphere for a deep restful sleep.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice, clean and welcoming. Staff was nice. Good location

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly but not intrusive, very comfortable and clean, convenient position, good breakfast buffet .
Cons: Very little to say against the hotel. There’s no air conditioning so in the summer I should think that the bedrooms would be very hot as virtually all face south, but no problem for us in September.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location and off street parking, only a few minutes walk to all amenities. Small friendly hotel with good selection for breakfast.
Cons: No air conditioning.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was well situated for short walk to beach, restaurants etc. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The room, while small but adequate for a one night stay, was spotlessly clean with lovely white fluffy towels. The breakfast was one of the best we've had in a French hotel good value for money coffee was good all served in a very pleasant airy room. Would use this hotel again.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: First of all, I'd like to highlight that the staff is particularly outstanding. I've been really hit by the kindness and care of all people working in the hotel, on every shift. From check-in to breakfast, very friendly and professional. Bravo ! Now, to begin with, the location is really good. If you are coming with a bus, it will drop you just a few steps away. The hotel stands on one of the main streets, one row from the seashore. There is a small pedestrian path right next to the hotel leading directly to the port. It is just a five minutes walk to the nearest beach. The building is very fancy, and rooms are big, with a nice view on the garden and you can even see the sea in the distance. The breakfast was great, with all kind of breads, cereals, and a large array of local products. It was very silent and peaceful, there is no problem of noise with neighboors even if the hotel was full !
Cons: Can't think of anything...

Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We discovered a family-run Hotel and really sensed the personal interest and care. One reason for choice was the outside but covered and lamp-lit swimming pool, perhaps not available through the winter months but it was for us in early November. Ample breakfast. Food was regional and the evening meal which was good to come back to after a day out, served professionally and courteously by the owners, was accompanied by thoughtfully selected ambient music (so different to what we endured elsewhere!) Lovely wines. Very pleasant comfortable bedroom upgraded on arrival without request. Loved the pictures hanging on the walls. The choice of scenes and framing throughout the hotel was thoughtful, co-ordinated and really attractive. All felt homely.
Cons: As octogenarians, lifting a heavy case up quite steep steps, would have been easier had there had been a ramp. But there would have been assistance if we had asked for it, so it doesn't really count as a complaint. We have no other.

Pros: Staff extra friendly and helpful
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The owner was very friendly and couldn't do enough to help. I arrived a little late but he cooked a chicken dinner when I told him I was too tired to go out in the car again. This is the kind of service you really appreciate when travelling alone and while on the road for a long stretch. Great stuff!
Cons: It was very pleasant and there's little bad to say about it.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Central hotel location & nice room layout. The use of Rituals toiletries throughout the venue has been a welcome surprise and, for us, an added bonus providing a touch of luxury and wellbeing.
Cons: Room was too small for our needs, and could not really accommodate 3 adults as suggested. The hotel does not offer any parking arrangement, and it could be difficult to find a spot to park in the nearby streets, though we were lucky in this respect most of the times.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Good rooms and staff
Cons: The coffee at breakfast
9.3 Excellent
Pros: It was very close to the both the train station and the town centre so the location was ideal. Also the room is quite big and well layed out
Cons: The room was very hot and you do get a lot of traffic noise first thing in the morning if you have your windows open
6.3 Good
Pros: Hotel was within walking distance of old historic centre.
Cons: We asked for a quiet room but were given one on the first floor overlooking main vehicle street and had to contend with loud traffic noise throughout the night. Hotel was not air conditioned and could only open windows by first opening curtains. It was either no air or no privacy! Breakfast was ordinary and the most expensive we had in 2 weeks in Brittany. Not sure why this hotel is rated 3 stars. We have stayed in many 2 star hotels in Brittany that were far superior.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: It was very central, clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and there was a great selection for breakfast
Cons: Nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The kideness of receptionists: we travelled with a 9months old baby and they gave us a triple room with no extra cost, they warmed a baby lunch with a smile and these behaviours are so important when you travell with a kid (when everything is more difficult/stressful) The location is great,5min walking to cathedral. Dont worry about parking,it is true that the hotel has not parking but there is a public parking next to the hotel, there is not an issue at all Thanks for your hospitality
Cons: There is not air conditioner
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Receptionist was very nice and helpful; they provided us with a map, and recommendations for some restaurants of varying cuisines and costs
Cons: Room was a bit hot; I do hope we weren't being silly and couldn't find the air conditioning!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very well located for attending the Quimper Cornouaille Festival!
Cons: No kettle and cups in the room
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was ok and specifically the personnel was speaking good English and was really helpful
Cons: Nothing to complain about

7.5 Good
Pros: Staff were very accommodating, came up with a plan to allow me to access to my room and leave my luggage thereby enabling me to go walkabout on the Sun afternoon when reception was closed.
Cons: It was clean but a bit basic.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location of Hotel De La Gare is perfect for visiting Quimper. It is a quick walk into the city center and the train station is right across the street. The staff were so helpful and kind. From welcome coffee & cider to answering questions about the area we felt like the staff appreciated us being there. The room is nothing fancy but it is comfortable and has everything needed for a stay. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had recently been updated. Everything was clean. There is a great pizza spot out the front door, turn right and go about a block & a half. There are also other places to eat and again, city center is a very close walk along a very pretty canal. Parking is available for an extra charge and is great for all but probably much bigger vehicles. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
Cons: The staff are not available after 10PM during the week and 9PM on Friday. We had some issues with our internet access and one night our heat and thankfully noticed before the desk was closed. Also, the internet required repeated logins if you stopped using it for a while.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable, pleasant hotel. Quite surprised at the extent of it, as from the road it looks quite small but the new bedrooms at the back are very nice.
Cons: Nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This property is directly across from the Quimper railway station. It is immaculately presented, the décor is fresh and coordinated with some lovely art work in the public areas. My room was not large but had a full sized modern tiled bathroom and a desk located next to a large opening window which had an electronic shutter. Excellent value for money, lovely staff, comprehensive breakfast choices and a stylish fit out. Certainly recommend it.
Cons: The room does not have air-conditioning or a mini bar fridge but the electric shutter means you can sleep with full security and the window open. Bar fridge wasn't really missed and the little Krupp coffee maker makes excellent hot chocolate.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Ideal for one night stay. Great bars nearby. It was raining on the night we were there so took a chance with a nearby restaurant which was fantastic.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Clean. Simple. Quiet.
Cons: Funky shower. Little flat space for putting stuff.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: the reception desk is really kind. one example, I lost passport at Paris airport. I had bid difficulties to contact them directly. She helped me to find the right contact. Not only this story, I had comfortable days whole of my 3 days stay.
Cons: the wifi is less faster than I need.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice staff
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Hotel calme. Confort correct. Personnel arrangeant.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: the setting of the hotel is perfect and we are hoping to re visit the hotel in 2019 it was that good
Cons: parking is a bit of a hassle .there is a barrier which as to be lowered but just take your time .your on Holiday
5.0 Okay
Pros: The view of the harbour from our little window.
Cons: Mostly their complete indifference to us, starting with not letting is bring our car in to at least unload our luggage and haul it upstairs. No offer of help. They seemed far more interested in running their bistro than ensuring we had a pleasant or comfortable stay. We were literally tossed a set of keys to our room at the bar, and that was it. The room was basically an IKEA bed-in-a-bag. The one chair was plastic and not at all comfortable. Dismal.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location and views, lovely comfortable room, simple check-in. We didn't eat at the restaurant, but would like to.
Cons: All good.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Position is perfect , waking up looking over the river is magical
Cons: Wish we could of eaten in restaurant , supposed to be excellent but by 730 it was fully booked , advise one to book restaurant at same time as hotel may then get in
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location was excellent & ideal for our short break.
Cons: Difficult to see the bottom step of the wooden stairs between 1st and 2nd floor and stumbled twice when coming down stairs as unable to see last step
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Spacious room. Very comfortable bed . Well thought out and equipped bathroom. Superb view over the Odet river and boats on it.
Cons: Restaurant is small, with unchanging menu. Car park 100yards away.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Sitting in the windowsill enjoying the view of the peaceful harbour
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location, with lots of lovely walks, and plenty of things to do and see. Really relaxing. Love the little ferry to Benodet. No need to get the car out in the evenings, as plenty of dining options, all within a 5 minute walk
Cons: Staff service for drinks on the balcony was a bit slow, even when there were few customers. Preferred to talk amongst themselves!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: What an atmosphere. As if you are on a filmset of a French movie. Such a beautiful little harbor with lovely restaurants. Very romantic at night. And if you stay in this hotel you are right in the middle of it. Rooms are not big but just renovated. Cosy and easy acces. Nice view at the little harbour.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Charming location. Lovely atmosphere. Great breakfast.
Cons: More flowers in the garden.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfasts very good, scenery over the lakes fantastic, the owner Mon. Hubert very friendly, attentive and helpful. The bedroom typical French style simple furnishings, but roomy, bed very comfortable and bathroom very modern and spacious. The manoir was very grand to look at, very quiet with no noise and the flowers very pretty, plenty of parking and extensive areas to walk.
Cons: There was nothing that we did not like.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: it was superb nothing to dislike.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: A beautiful setting in an old manor house. Very relaxing and peaceful A good breakfast outside on the terrace A good sized room
Cons: Very few facilities. Slightly tired decoration
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location. Setting. Owner.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The peaceful location. The atmosphere. The terrace overlooking the pond. The opportunity to stay in a period building. The handsome furnishings, prints and paintings. The warm welcome and ready attentiveness.
Cons: The price of the breakfasts. The duvet on the bed; far too warm for the time of year (July).
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The house has been in the same family for eight generations, built on the profits of trade in the Far East like s many places in this area. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and (wonderful) no television / radio. Wifi is OK. The Manoir has 16 rooms with the ones that we saw carved out of bigger spaces. Reasonably well done but if money had been permitting I think the conversions could have been more in keeping with the character of the house. The owner was charming and could not have been more helpful. Remember there is no restaurant but there is a plethora of decent restaurants near by. Good breakfast.
Cons: Could do with one or two arm chairs in each room as space permits so that one can read in comfort rather than by lying on the bed. Good bedside lights would also be welcome. Outdoor, comfortable, deck chairs or similar would be welcome as well rather than the stark metal ones.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful garden, spacious room.
Cons: If a TV screen were there, it would be better.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Setting, position, space. Quiet surroundings but accessible to several places of interest nearby.
Cons: Breakfast was good but a bit overpriced.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a very relaxing time in the quiet surrounds and enjoyed the visiting the towns nearby.
