The authenticity of the place was at first a bit off-putting (we had to lug our bags up three flights of stairs) but the room was fantastic.
A rambling and fascinating building to stay in which we had good meals. Comfortable and clean rooms. Friendly staff. Excellent location in the quiet centre near to the church. Within easy walking distance of the train station.
Location was good. Breakfast was good, not great. Cost was high, and there was essentially no discount for 3rd person in a room -- it cost 140sf for the 2-person room and 210sf for a 3-person room of the same size. Parking was crowded. No air conditioning, and nearby bell tower rang loud & early. Booking.com website says they accept credit cards, but they don'T.
tidy room and a full breakfast provided sound insulation is a bit poor, as it is rather disturbing to the sleeper because of the late coming
It's within easy reach of the train station. The staffs cannot speak / understand English. For those who cannot understand the local languages, it will be difficult to communicate.
Mainly friendly staff. No TV. No english speaking staff. No menus in english.
Very comfortable beds, and quiet despite the creaky floorboards in the room itself. Beware, some staff do not speak English at all.
Convenient location, clean throughout, polite staff, excellent breakfast, comfortable room. Toilet roll half used and no spare for when it was finished. No curtains other than net so light in room early. Staff could speak only Romansch and Italian. Despite Booking.com assurance that credit cards were acceptable, they were not.
Clean refurbished room. No TV. No lift. Parking could be problematic.
You cannot beat the location in terms of being central and the rooms were spotless. The staff were very kind and accommodating. Breakfast was uninspiring and the price, in general, was quite high. I think Switzerland hotels are quite expensive in comparison to the rest of Western Europe.
