Cathedral Village Shopping Center
Wet 'n' Wild Palm Springs
Clean rooms, friendly staff, very nice pool
Location was ok, about a $13 Uber ride from downtown Palm Springs and did have lots of parking. Booked this hotel last min for a getaway and figured how bad could it be since it was a resort and all the places I would choice typically were booked up for the holiday weekend. That was not the case, the hotel claims it's a resort just because it's connected to a golf resort and community. It's a super old room with worn out furniture, gross carpet and cheap decor. Randomly the bed was comfortable. Pool looked ok but was packed with families with kids. Nothing about the hotel made it resort like.
Close to golf. Loud music at the pool.
Great service Room was not cleaned when we checked in had to call and ask for it to be cleaned again
Nice room. Clean. Refrigerator in room kept turning on throughout the night and rattled so it was hard to sleep.
Second floor rooms was nice and modern In room bathroom area was clean, modern, and comfortable Split level room open concept Bar - Shuts down at 12am - No nightlife Staff did not offer help with luggage; even though I was visibly struggling I had to ask for help. Premium Villas felt dated and old Not enough signs helping with directions "Mountain Side facing" view is really deceiving, what they should write is Parking Lot/Lobby/Street Facing, any view of the mountains were obscured by either palm trees or the building itself. No complimentary "spa" goods or testers to use in the soaker tub (bath salt, etc)
I really liked Donna in the Gift shop - She was so nice and friendly. The rest of the staff was very nice as well. My room did not get cleaned the first day. by the time they showed up It was 5:30pm and I was in my room getting ready to go out for the evening. I'm not a messy person - so no big deal. But the next day they had it done by mid afternoon. The lights in my hotel room were dim and some burnt out, but I made do. The pool was relaxing and the drinks were great. The people I met at the lobby bar were so much fun. The location is great - 7 11 is right across the street - convenient. And local shops are just a block away. I would stay there again.
Common areas, Pool was beautiful, hot tub was great. Rooms are funky - The first one smelt like human refuse. THe service is pathetic - getting atoothbrush takes 1.5 hours and reminders. There is a "fee" for this reservation - be aware.
This place was so clean! I am so picky about my rooms and pools and Hilton didn't disappoint. We traveled with kids and the pool had a lot of them during the week (not sure about weekend), and they all had such a fun time. Also, so conveniently located by all of the shops and food. Great and accommodating staff. No complaints here! Nothing ;)
This hotel is really in need of a major rehab. The pool had scum floating in it.
Pretty much everything! Friendly staff, beautifully clean room, and that bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in! Only thing is that the menu for room service wasn't correct and should be updated. Also I didn't have a remote in my room for the Tv and
THIS IS AN AVERAGE MOTEL. DESPITE THE FEE, THIS IS NOT A RESORT. CARPETS WERE FILTHY.
great pool, basic rooms, older hotel but done nicely, food was good and a fun vibe all round, supermarket across the road. emailed for info prior to arrival but no reply, smoking policy not well in-forced.
Ran down Clean better......Replace old dated furniture..... new paint
I loved the privacy and cleanliness of the hotel. Staff was very friendly as well. The check out was too early.
Location, large room size, covered parking front desk staff was not accommodating and somewhat rude. Poor customer service. Would not store bags (so they sat in my car in 90 degree heat). Check in was for 3pm, but room wasn't ready until 4:30pm
This just may be the best place to stay in Indio/Palm Springs. It really is a condo. I stayed in a 1 Bedroom that had to be at least 700 square feet. The pools were great (loved the lazy river) but the room was incredible! The large patio was a great place to hang out and the BBQ on your patio was a huge plus. The furnishings and kitchen were top notch. This really is a timeshare property and I may actually buy a timeshare here. The casino is only 4 blocks away. Easy access to the freeway but the resort is still off the beaten path and very secluded and surrounded by beautiful mountains and on a wonderful golf course. If you are really picky the only things you wouldn't like about this resort are: Shower is small (bathroom is large) and there is no complimentary shampoo. That's about it on the negatives. 5 out of 5 for me. You should stay here no question.
I took a 3 night trip last week with my sister in law and our 4 kids. I would normally be afraid to all stay in one room, but space was never an issue. There is a huge master bedroom with a king bed and another bedroom with two twin beds. The living room also has a Murphy bed which is a nice touch so you can just push in up in the AM and not have to do major clean up. The decor is very nice- upgraded furniture and everything you could need in the kitchen. Each unit has a huge balcony with its own grill which is a nice touch! There is also a stackable washer and dryer (they even supplied detergent). The grounds are gorgeous and we had fun just walking around checking out the landscaping and lakes. There are bunnies and ducks everywhere which kept the kids entertained when we were not in the pool! Speaking of pools, this place has it all! There is a fun lazy river with both single and double tubes to use along with a huge pool and a very large kiddie pool that is only 1 foot deep all around. We never had a problem finding seating and some areas are even shaded. Our building (15) was very close to the main pool, but we took a walk one night around the corner and there is actually a replica of the large pool and kiddie pool on the other side of the property along with a spray-ground area for the kids. You can bring your own food/coolers to the pool and there is a nice store on site for all of your basic needs- although some things are very expensive. We found shopping paradise right down the street- every store you could think of including a dollar store for pool toys, a drive-thru Starbucks, and several fast-food and sit down restaurants. Our kids had the best time, it was one of the most enjoyable vacations I can remember in the desert. The only cons that I can think of has to do with the beds. The mattresses in both rooms are hard as a rock- really uncomfortable. The bedding is like cheap motel bedding- very stiff sheets and flimsy comforters and blankets. If only they could fix that problem, I would have nothing whatsoever to complain about! If you are looking for an affordable, fun vacation for the family- go!!
We stayed in a bungalows for two nights and everything about the place was just fantastic. There was a pool and jacuzzi just in front of our bungalow and only shared with a few other bungalows, we had the pool to ourselves much of the time. The accommodation itself was beautiful and really spacious with a large kitchen area and outdoor table and chairs. The free laundry service was brilliant. Spent a very relaxing couple of days here and would recommend to anyone. Worth paying the extra few dollars for the suite/bungalow as opposed to a hotel room!
The adult pool was a plus, the staff was friendly and the location was outstanding and laundry facilities made this a destination we will definitely recommend and return to.
