With a stay at B&B Mer Et Sable in Bernissart, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Château de Belœil and Archeosite and Museum of Aubechies. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The hosts were so welcoming, carrying our luggage, giving us a bottle of water and booking a restaurant for us. Our french is not too good so it was an added benefit for us to be able to talk in italian to the host. Tea and coffee can be made at anytime in the breakfast room and there is a small sitting area if required, not needed by us as we had a balcony. Room was comfortable and bed not too soft
Cons: They seemed to have forgot our booking.
Pros: A wonderful place, would highly recommend. Thank you for a lovely stay.
Pros: The friendliness of this family run house.
Cons: The stairs!
Pros: The place was lovely and fairly new, breakfast was fine and the hosts were nice people, just a shame about the above really which made our stay difficult.
Cons: The toilet didn't flush in our room and the sink plug did not stay down which meant that the sink wouldn't hold water so you couldn't have a shave easily.
Located in Beloeil, L'instant au Présent is a 1-minute drive from Château de Belœil and 7 minutes from Archeosite and Museum of Aubechies. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Everything was perfect from the staff to room
Cons: Lack of local facilities although there were a few
Pros: Very warm welcome and the hostess arranged to cook us a dinner too save us traveling some distance to find a restaurant that was open. Very good breakfast. A five minute walk to historic chateau but had very limited opening to public.
Cons: Spacious room, but had a low sloping ceiling over the bed. Would have liked more table space. Limited TV to local stations and car parking in open car park across the road. Limited restaurants in the area and not open every day.
Pros: Place next to Palace Kings breakfast
Cons: Cash payment only
Pros: Well balanced design & colours. Breakfast is great!
Pros: This was a really nice bed and breakfast with a lovely bedroom and shower. The owner was very friendly and helpful and directed us to a nearby restaurant for dinner where we had a delicious meal.
When you stay at Auberge le XIXème in Hensies, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Grand-Hornu and Museum of Contemporary Art of the French Community. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Lovely old French Auberge, spotlessly clean with very friendly and welcoming staff. It is family owned and the restaurant, with many local people eating, serves delicious local produce at very reasonable prices. I stopped on the way back from biking in Austria and the journey to the Tunnel was very quick and easy. I will certainly stay again.
Pros: The restaurant and dinner were excellent. Quality cooking with fresh local ingredients. The staff were very pleasant and friendly.
Cons: Breakfast was on the meagre side. The bread ran out and was replaced with a cheap frozen white sliced loaf from the freezer.
Pros: Great evening meal
Pros: Lovely Auberge with a great restaurant and plenty of safe parking on the square outside.
Pros: very nice restaurant (bistrot) ; friendly staff ; good location
Cons: breakfast ; rooms a bit out of time ...
Pros: Great restaurant and bar
Cons: Busy village square for traffic noise
Pros: The patron was extremely friendly and the room was very clean and comfortable. The food was excellent and the service really good
Cons: Strange staircase but that may be my problem

Pros: possibility to sit outside
Pros: Quiet place, easy access to motorway, frendly staff, tasty breakfast, positive experience.
Pros: It was a very hot day, it was VERY NICE being able to use the jaccuzi upon our arrival. Welcome drink was really nice. Staying over in the 'Roulotte' was an added little quirky bonus. Although it could welcome more than two people, the roulotte is a tad small and I would not recommend it for more than 2 people (and for very tall people). Breakfast could be brought to the roulotte or being served in the adjacent boulangerie-patisserie. Great place.
Pros: Extremely friendly, close to the motorway, surprisingly comfortable.
Cons: The bathroom
