10.0 Excellent
Pros: Spectacular service, gourmet food, wine and location! We can’t wait to return.
Cons: Not a thing! Hosts were very accommodating.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a wonderful hotel. The meticulous care to its restoration is matched by their care for their guests. We were greeted warmly and given a tour of the grounds and its history. Our room was spacious, very clean and charming and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We were given excellent advice and directions for dinner options nearby and were happy we followed their advice. Paul informed us that they offer wine tasting if interested for 35 Euro/pp. It might seem pricey but we tasted several wines with generous pours and cheeses & bread were provided as well. Bastian's lesson on the wines of Burgundy was worth the price alone. The breakfast was exceptional; everything is organic and many of the fruits for their jams and compotes are grown on site. We ate our breakfast in the garden and it was delightfully peaceful as well as lovely; seeing the vineyards in the distance beyond the fruit trees in the walled garden. We hope to make it back and enjoy a longer stay next time.
Cons: Only suggestion would be to have a blow dryer in the bathroom, other than that every amenity one could require was available.

Pros: Loved the hotel. Quirky, unusual, excellent food. Loved the special home made juice (with secret i ingredient ) . Paul made us very welcome and accommodated our every wish. We appreciated the free use of bikes which enabled us to discover the delights of the route des Grand Crus. Great location and within easy walking distance of the main village.
Cons: We loved it all - even if it was on the pricey side .

10.0 Excellent
Pros: One of our best experience we felt like home with our friends
Cons: We would like stay more time
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a very intimate experience where we enjoyed meeting the other guests for dinner. The new owners are doing a superb job to make this a very beautiful place to relax and stay. We had a delightful dinner which was delicious, and our dog Harley had a fantastic time playing with Shadow, the owners dog
Cons: I didn't like the fact that on entering the property the electric gate failed to recognize that my car was not clear of the gate, and this resulted in the gate crashing into my new car. I have been left with three very small dents in my otherwise pristine car which I am not at all pleased about. If I had caused any damage at the property, I would have immediately taken responsibility and would have offered to pay to fix things !
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A true hidden gem. But not far from all the places you wish it see. Although staying put and reading by the pool with a glass of wine from their wine cellar is a wonderful way to spend a day too. The owner recommended a restaurant about 10 kilometers away in a beautiful little spot that was so very “this is why I come to France” great food and amazing prices and service. We will be staying here on our way back to Frankfurt that’s how much we enjoyed it. Plus it’s pet friendly.
Cons: If they could control the weather that would be great!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Rooms are clean, new swimming pool is excellent during warm days, breakfast also nice and Corinne and Jacques are very nice and helpful ! The rooms with airco were needed during our very hot stay !
Cons: Nothing negative to say, only a very small suggestion to add a central light in the meursault room. But this is a minor detail...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts offer an absolutely amazing dinner with multiple courses and a wine bible. They also take the time to help with everything (e.g. make a reservation for a local activity) and are really friendly and make time for a nice conversation.
Cons: A small fridge would be nice for the amazing local wines (and some lunch), but we didn't miss this much.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We really loved our stay here. The room was very nice and clean. We also had a nice little outside area where we could sit with some privacy. The garden was very nice and peacefull, with places to sit down/ lay down and relax. The pool was clean and relaxing. And the owners of this chambre d'hotes where so nice, very friendly and very helpfull. 10/10 experience =)
Cons: -
9.5 Excellent
Pros: LOCATION...This is located in a small French village in the country. Surrounded by farmland, trees and fresh air. We picked this location because we could not decide which city, Beaune or Dijon, to lodge in, so we stayed in-between and drove the car to visit. We booked dinner at Chambre d'Hôtes L'Orée du Bois 2 of the nights we stayed and it was top notch service. Corine & Jacques are excellent at dinner presentation and explanation of the local food, wines, and cheeses. Attention to detail is not lacking. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is served as a traditional French style breakfast with fresh bread from the local bakery, and fresh eggs from their chickens, fresh squeezed juice. Our Hosts took extra time to share the best places for us to visit and tour and then booked the trips for us and made our dinner reservations. This is quite helpful for those of us visiting France and not speaking French! We are learning, but cannot speak the language yet. I highly recommend this place for couples, it is quiet and adult oriented. No children or pets allowed. We WILL be back! Thank you Corine and Jacques!
Cons: Don't forget that you will be staying in the COUNTRY. Wifi is available, but not always a strong connection. We drove our car so it was no problem for us, but if you want to come by train and use public transportation, this will be a problem. Everything else for us was perfect!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What a beautiful chambre d’hotes !!! After a long journey on the route de soleil from the south of France, you take the exit and you are immediately relaxed: along the grain fields you arrive in an oasis of peace and tranquility. Two very enthusiastic people, who together ensure that you lack nothing; there is a swimming pool, a cool wine, air conditioning in the very neat rooms, different seating areas, wide views, chirping of birds, chickens in the back garden: “la douce France” Before leaving, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the garden under the umbrella! Thank you host and hostess for the warm welcome and care, it was wonderful!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A really peaceful setting and a fantastic welcome from the hosts. Dinner was the highlight for us, a truly unique experience. We loved it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything is perfect there. I’ve spent nights in approximately 40 Chambres d‘Hôtes all around France and this was the very best. The hosts Jacques and Corinne are amazing, they are super friendly and they offer everything a guest could ever wish for, such as homecooked meals (better than in any restaurant) and wine tastings within a little boutique on premise. Awesome place!!

Pros: Small hotel in a sleepy village. Easy access and attentive helpful service. Very large rooms were a bonus when travelling with pet dog.
Cons: Adjacent restaurant is separate from hotel which only serves breakfast. Had to drive to local town to get a choice of eatery as no other options at the hotel location.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: We were looking for a stop on the road to the south. Nice and quiet, have a very good restaurant next door. Staff is very nice too, and the room are clean and big.
Cons: Would love to have a coffee machine in the room. The church across the street will replace the alarm clock... which was not appreciated by my wife :-)
7.5 Good
Pros: Large room in small Burgundy town. Handy to the small villages south of Nuit Saint George.
Cons: The air conditioning did not work nor did the wireless. Owner wanted to charge me for an extra night when I explained why we must leave in that nothing worked. The temperatures in Burgundy were over 100 degrees and sleeping upstairs in an old building was not restful at all. Then when the wireless did not work either I explained we must leave and she insisted I pay for the 3rd night, even though I was checking out.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The best breakfast ever in France. Nice older couple with a passion for hospitality. A perfect stop halfway the Netherlands and Spain.
Cons: The restaurant nextdoor was closed on wednesday, but there where good alternatives in Nuits-Saint-George.

Pros: Large sitting area with bed up a slender stairway to a higher level. Unfortunately, my wife had to sleep on the couch since she was afraid of navigating the narrow steps at night.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: We loved everything. The room was well done with all the conveniences you need. We had a fabulous dinner there. The staff was fantastic and the town very interesting. Great value for the money even if it is a little out of your way.
Cons: You would need transportation to get to the location
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All round excellence. We were only using it as an overnight stop but had we been staying several days (is well placed for exploring the region) it had the facilities: a large separate lounge included within our room-suite, own terrace (although overlooking the quiet through road) the holiday maker would have plenty of private space to spread out in. Very good breakfast, friendly owners, nice outdoor communal terrace, secure parking. Exceptionally good value.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good location, about ten minutes from the highway. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice room en big bathroom.
Cons: Technically it doesn't have two bedrooms. It has one (small) seperate bedroom and on the splitlevel is also a bed.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The room was fantastic and staff very helpful, would certainly stop here again.
Cons: A little info booklet in the room would be a great help, in English and French with menu and breakfast costs etc, apart from that the problem.

Pros: Great location for a stopover to or from Calais to the south of France. Nice restaurant. Free parking.
Cons: Wi-Fi didn't work for the duration of our stay. A staff car parked and blocked the EV charger. This didn't make much difference to us, but it was a point of detail that disappointed us. The staff serving dinner and breakfast also seemed to be a bit rushed and didn't do a great job serving gluten-free bread in either case.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Old building with contemporary feel - nice decor and good bedrooms
Cons: Staff a bit sullen at breakfast and not very attentive to our needs
10.0 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very welcoming!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is located very close to the centre. The rooms are tidy and the air conditioning functions very well. The lobby/bar is a convenient place to relax. Shower was also great, including a well-functioning hairdryer. Overall, we are very happy with our stay.
Cons: The staff started cleaning the other rooms around 9.00 am, this causes some noice which can be inconvenient if you want to sleep in.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Nice hotel with friendly staff, very clean and good breakfast. Superb location, easy to get to by car and great for walking into centre of town (5 mins)
10.0 Excellent

8.3 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean and spacious. Great location, comfortable bed and shower.
Cons: Staff had no flexibility and were not willing at all to help with our error, nor any alternative solution was offered.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location was excellent. Walking distance to the trams, markets and restaurants. Rooms were clean and newly renovated.
Cons: Parking was in a public garage 5 to 10 mins walk away. Room airconditioners were on a timer that reset during the night. With the recent heatwave, our party staying in 2 separate rooms, woke up in the middle of the night drenched in sweat as the rooms were very stuffy without the aircons.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: I loved the location and the concern about the earth and the modern decor. Breakfasts were good and a good value for the money. Really appreciated an elevator--one of my requirements for booking, and the air conditioning, also a requirement for booking. Liked the heated towel rack to dry clothes when I got caught in the rain and to wash out a couple things. Really liked the shower. Air conditioning was easy to use and we were there in a major heat wave so it was really important.
Cons: There was almost no place to put clothes for the two of us. I piled mine on the floor and on top of the light shelf, where they got hot on an already hot day. I'm short and couldn't reach the only shelves in the tiny closet, which I couldn't access very well anyway because the space was so tight between closet and my partner's side of the bed. I would consider lack of space for clothes the major design problem. Toilet had a weak flush. Sink stopper didn't seem to work right. Although we appreciated the air conditioning, it cooled the far side of the bed better than the closer side so one of us was complaining about being too hot and the other was feeling cold. Not ideal for partner harmony. (Normally I do not complain about hotel rooms, but you asked and I am telling you my concerns because I know the hotel is new and you are still trying to make it better, and I really liked the hotel.)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very close to Old Town, very nice and ready to help staff, speaking in English, very clean rooms

7.5 Good
Pros: Location is great
Cons: Smell of the room ( 203) Shower drain was locked, although telling the reception and promising to fix it But they didn’t
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Our favourite breakfast of any hotel we have ever stayed in!
5.5 Okay
Pros: Great location, with what looked like a delightful garden.
Cons: See below, the email I sent to the General Manager two days ago, who has not responded in any form. For the attention of the General Manager: Good evening, I trust this finds you well? My partner and I stayed in your hotel last night, and we were both very disappointed by the standards of service. Your desk clerk, when we checked out, after I had paid the bill, asked me if our stay had been enjoyable. I replied to say, no, not particularly. He asked that I write to you to offer feedback. Please see below, and I look forward to hearing from you in due course. Given it’s 5 star rating and it’s Grand Hôtel title, it falls short on so many levels. Valet Parking: no valet on hand when we arrived . He was sat smoking as we found our way into the car park, no easy feat, he made no attempt to assist. Reception: the meet and greet was very smooth, polite but no real information about the hotel was provided; such as breakfast times, locations or spa details should we have wished to avail ourselves of them. The desk clerk did recommend a couple of local places to eat, but not the hotel restaurant. Room: I’ve never stayed in a four or five star hotel where I’ve not been shown to the room, until this time. The rooms are clean the bed comfortable, but the room lay out is appalling. Strange door positions for toilet and shower rooms, shower room that have glass windows into the bedroom. Why are there paper coffee cups in a five star hotel? Restaurant & Bar; we’d decided, as we’d spent 9 hours driving that day, to eat in the hotel restaurant, and accordingly booked a table in the garden for 7:30 pm. The front desk managed this booking for us. We went to the bar at 7:00 pm to have a drink before dinner. The bar staff (2) were both present and nodded and smiled as we walked through, there was at that time, only one other client in the bar. We found a table, and looked about to find both members of staff had left the area.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Well situated, just a short walk from the station The best part of the hotel was the garden, where you could have a drink or a light meal in the shade,in lovely relaxing chairs, while watching the birds flit in and out of the trees.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The room size (Superior Double) was adequate and the bed was comfortable. No traffic noise. Good parking garage. The restaurant must be good because we could not get reservations for lunch or dinner during our 3 night stay.
Cons: When you arrive, don't expect a doorman to help carry your luggage up the steps. Whoever designed the rooms for this 5 star hotel thought that guests would be backpackers on short trips and staying only 1 night, not 3 like us. The "walk-in" closet is so small you cannot hang more than 3 shirts and no pants because the space is too short. No drawers anywhere. All the closet space is wasted by making it a walk-in and if you are on a longer trip, like us, you have to live out of your suitcase for your stay. The shower has nothing to hold soap or shampoo so you have to put it on the floor. No towel holders and 1 little bar of soap. No USB port to charge phones, but an HDMI port? Sofitel should be ashamed of this "5 star" hotel.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Food at the restaurant
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The restuarant...location...room size
Cons: Nothing
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, very beautiful gardens and good quality food. Decoration good.
Cons: Bathroom did not have a proper shower. Having a shower standing in the bath with a hand held shower without a hand rail is dangerous. Staff not very attentive or polite.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel, very close to the old town.
Cons: Not much!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice location
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was close to the train station and the location to the downtown was perfect. The air conditioning in the hotel was so pleasant we were in France during the heat wave. They were able to hold our luggage until our room was ready as well.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Everything was more than expected a really great place and staff helpful
Cons: Garden area was used after 12 our room overlooked it and was a bit loud
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great. The room was fine, but lacked a fridge, which in a 4 star hotel I would have expected. Location near to Dijon Ville station excellent. And an easy stroll to the lovely city centre. I would certainly stay here again if I return to Dijon.
Cons: Only the lack of a fridge.
6.3 Good
Pros: Comfortable hotel with nice friendly staff.
Cons: The location. A bit of a rough area near the station. Very downmarket restaurants nearby. No restaurant in the hotel, so while tired, chose one nearby, which was very poor. We didn’t try the hotel’s breakfast, at 19euros each, it seemed a bit expensive.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A beautiful hotel in a perfect location. The room was spacious with super bathroom and shower
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff is super friendly and helpful. Great location Many sites walking distance and tram right out front
7.5 Good
Cons: The parking is a disaster. Extremely small and badly organized. We got locked up with a child in the underground parking as our access card was no longer working and there was no way to leave the parking. The hotel did not offer a compensation or any gesture following this incident.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Well located, very confortable
Cons: Parking is rather confusing specially when you get out and try to return to hotel.

Hôtel Le Clos de la Vouge - Vougeot - Building

8.9 Excellent (158 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Located in Vougeot, Hôtel Le Clos de la Vouge is on the riverwalk, a 2-minute drive from Domaine de la Romanee-Conti and 6 minutes from Chapelle-Chambertin. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Comfy beds and felt very 'homely'. Attentive staff at breakfast. Parking was on site and the village of Vougeot was very pretty. Superb restaurant next door serving local cuisine and can be booked by the hotel, if required.
Cons: The rooms did have some low beams, not too much of a problem but if you're tall be careful!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed in a comfort room, it was really spacious and beautifully decorated. The pool was lovely and perfect after a long drive. The staff were really helpful and booked a restaurant for the evening for us.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Refurbished hotel, with now more modern look than several years ago. Very friendly reception! Breakfast with fresh and good quality choices.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff were excellent, well trained, and very attentive. The breakfast was very good. It was peaceful and with beautiful views of the surrounding vineyards. The little river running through is very nice with a nice patio to enjoy reading a book or sipping a drink. The bed was very comfortable. It was close to Dijon so easy to find places to eat not too far away.
Cons: During lunch break the office closes and access through the restaurant area to the back patio is not accessible. Also the tables inside are not accessible during this time. Although there were some brochures for local attractions, I did not really see anything on Dijon. The shower door would not close properly. The room only had one window that was a little small so it was not too bright during the day, but this did not detract from the beautiful environment.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Appeared to be newly renovated externally although the rooms seem a bit tired. Helpful staff (don't speak much English) and an excellent restaurant next door (not part of the hotel so needs to be booked separately - they were happy to do this). At the start of the Route de Grande Vins just south of Dijon with a lovely drive to Beaune past the vineyards. Minutes off the motorway.
Cons: It would have been nice if the swimming pool had still been open (early September).
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Exceptionally warm welcome from owners; lovely buildings and grounds; newly refitted bedrooms; impeccably clean throughout; excellent attention to detail
Cons: Coffee from machine.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: GREAT DECORATION OUTSIDE & INSIDE
Cons: Lack of Air Conditionning in our room
6.0 Good
Pros: Physical facilities are very good. Rooms are fairly spacious and interestingly varied. Location is excellent for the Route des Grand Vins - just a wonderful north/south strip of land.
Cons: On a Friday evening the (small, corner of room) bar had closed @ 18.00!!. There was no resturant in operation - new owner is investing in new rooms, but not maintaining facilities. Obviously a property developer, not a hotelier. Worse still, he'll probably do well - if he hasn't destroyed the repeat visitor base (such as us). Fortunately there was a resturant immediately adjacent to the hotel. Good layout, good local food, and one of their wine specials that night was a St. Aubin (a lesser known gem of Bourgogne) - plus good local staff. Without this happy coincidence this review would have contained several expletives. Net effect. Good room and physical hotel - but even better resturant nearby. Might visit the latter again, but wouldn't take another chance on the hotel. Just have to pay the "new" higher prices and go to the Castel des Tres Girards up the road near Chambolle-Musigny.

Pros: Lovely breakfast annex superior with terrace super.
Cons: No bath in a superior room and would be nice to see some good lighting in gardens / pool at night. Restaurant lovely but slightly broader menu would be good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel and surroundings. Magical!! Beds so comfy you melted in them. Lovely gardens and pool! Just perfect! Top class!
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful setting. Peaceful. Lovely place to relax after long journey and my dog loved it too!
Cons: Nothing
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Breakfast all you needed and more. Exceptionally clean as before. Beautiful surroundings and still improving each time we go. Room Lovely by the river. Restaurant food is brilliant.
Cons: Mirror above sink too high as I said before and lighting in bathroom not good.
6.3 Good
Cons: Having stayed the previous night at an excellent chateau hotel we expected the same standard of accommodation as this hotel was almost double the price. The rooms have apparently been refurbished, taking away all the character. We could have been in a Travel Lodge. The “superior double room” was very small and the large double bed that we had booked was standard size. The furniture was plastic and there was just room to walk round the bed. The restaurant had a limited menu but the food was very good. However, the wine was extremely overpriced.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, very nice and helpful personnel
Cons: The restaurant is very nice but the food is a bit too heavy
7.5 Good
Pros: after having had a bad experience in Paris this hotel came like a breathe of fresh air. Despite a mishap at Check In, I was afraid that all of France was going to prove disastrous but in fairness to Reception, once the mistake was pointed out to them, they fixed it immediately.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: everything was excellent..
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The location is beautiful ideal for those travelling with dogs as there are acres of grounds. Dogs are made very welcome

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very spacious and clean
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The room was spotless, large, extremely well-appointed, and even had two showers and two toilets, perfect for a busy family! Everything was tastefully appointed and the service and staff were polite and efficient. Especially nice was the pool/spa area, extremely clean, modern, and loads of fun for families as well as couples. We did not reserve a table at the on-site restaurant, which apparently is very popular and was full. There are not many locations nearby in which to have an unplanned meal, but we managed a simple but tasty dinner in the next town (Nuits-St. Georges). All in all a very memorable stay at a true four-star hotel with class! --the Wentzell family from Marietta, Georgia USA
Cons: nothing was less than perfect!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Had great time with family in spa . They even brought a small bathroom for my two year old . It was cute . It has a great restaurant onsite which had a very good vibe selection . Very close to many great vineyards . Loved it
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Big comfortable sunny room - felt no need to leave it. Fabulous restaurant with thoughtful delightful staff
Cons: The only tiny thing is the absolutely state-of-the-art coffee machine also provides hot water for tea but the tea tastes slightly of coffee - no problem for me because I always travel w a small kettle.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Warm n cozy n very clean
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great SPA
Cons: Dinner restaurant definitely to improve
6.3 Good
Pros: The Bar area was nice & the staff very helpful
Cons: The spa has to be booked in advance, you can't just go & use the pool etc you have to book a 1 hour slot the day before!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Best ever bath. Fabulous food & wine by the glass. Beautiful good dog walking country. Parking.
Cons: Honestly nothing -well maybe a separate kettle - fab coffee machine but not so good for tea
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Spotlessly clean, modern furnishings, attentive staff
Cons: Insufficient room extras coffee, tea etc. If more than two coffee capsules required then apparently an additional charge.

Pros: The location is unsurpassed. Literally cross the street and you’re in the medieval town pedestrianized area, 1 block from the Palace of the Dukes of Burgundy. The women behind the desk were funny and friendly . Room and bathroom super clean. Breakfast fine, and available early.
Cons: Nothing. I was there on. a Friday night, and could hear young folks walk and talk by, but to be expected when you’re so close to the restaurants and bars. You can not hear normal conversations from the room. I had my window open, but if you close it and run the AC, can’t hear a thing.

Pros: I would describe this Chateau as a B & B. This is a charming country Chateau in a quiet setting with a delightful French breakfast served each morning. To visit the towns of Nuits Saint George's and Beaune this is a perfect location. An easy drive for us to visit several wineries in both towns.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was amazing.
Cons: The roo.s could have had facilitated coffee making
7.5 Good
Pros: A very interesting and well presented old building with a variety of standard of room. Our basic room was adequately resourced and clean; the swimming pool was a welcome addition during the exceptionally warm weather we experienced. The host was charming with a wealth of local knowledge and very attentive to our needs, recommending local restaurants in Nuit St Georges and making reservations when required. The delightful, partly shaded grounds within the quad are thoughtfully provided with benches and tables, particularly appreciated by guests in the evenings.
Cons: As is often the case in older properties, there is no air conditioning and the room was hot during our stay. The proximity to the motorway meant there was a small amount of traffic noise, only evident because we were road facing and had the windows open.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic property, great location. We used for a stop over en route through France and it was perfectly located! Very helpful and accommodating staff - thank you Great pool!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Nice and comfy rooms. Excellent breakfast.
Cons: Deserves some investment to make it even more exquisite.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very helpful. Recommended an excellent wine tasting place in town--an enjoyable experience with the winemaker. Satff also touted the Hopital de Beaune, which we thought about missing but were glad we followed their recommendation.

Pros: Location, friendliness of the staff, cleanliness of the rooms, quality of the breakfast, view over the vineyards
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything, location, staff, beds, but especially Raoul
Cons: We liked everything
6.3 Good
Pros: The scenery is gorgeous set in a small village in the heart of this wine region. Views across the properties vineyard are lovely. Friendly and helpful staff
Cons: It was especially hot when we visited and our room was in the loft of this old property. Obviously no aircon but a fan made it bearable for our two nights. No bar or restaurant at the hotel so this needs to be considered but with one restaurant in the village our needs were catered for
7.5 Good
Pros: Nice stop in the winefields
6.8 Good
Pros: The breakfast was very good however we thought it was included in the price so that was a surprise as well as a disappointment. The view of the vineyard from the back yard was very pretty and they were kind to let us park our bicycles in the garage.
Cons: The room was shabby and feeling very outdated. Very bare minimum in furnishings in terms of quality. Mostly bare, dim walls along with the exposed dark beams in the room (which used to be the attic) made the room not a very nice atmosphere in which to be.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is excellent. Breakfast is excellent. Host was excellent.
