Pros: We were only passing through and stayed just one night and didn't eat at the hotel.
Pros: Great view, comfortable. Friendly staff.
Cons: Lots of flies inside and outside when eating.
Pros: The staff were all very helpful and the food was amazing!
Pros: The view from the balcony to the mountains was great, there were two chairs in the balcony to relax. Comfy bead and pillows, cosy good looking room. Easy to find it.
Cons: No air conditionair but enough with an open window. The problem is the restaurant below, our room was above it and it was noisy till about 11.30 pm
Pros: Driving up from the coast to hike in the mountains, we had dinner and stayed overnight at l'Escapade. It was a pleasure being in an old village, with a view across green hayfields, while being serenaded by cowbells from over on the other side. The dinner at their restaurant was excellent. The tables gradually filled up, until there was a full house. Obviously, its reputation is well-established locally. Breakfast also was very good, with plenty of variety. The whole establishment is well-managed, with delightful touches such as many implements from the "olden days" displayed in the dining room. Our room was well-appointed and functioned well.
Pros: Very homely and lovely staff
Pros: Good breakfast, very nice staff in a nice little town.
Pros: Breakfast was delicious! Nice view from the terrace, restaurant was very cozy and authentic
Pros: The proprietor who makes sure that every aspect of your stay is excellent - a warm welcome, comfortable and clean rooms, excellent dinner and breakfast.
Cons: The shower room/ toilet is separated from the bedroom only by a folding door.
Pros: Food was exceptional, people were wonderful, beautiful area...a gem!!!

Pros: One feels at home with Isabelle and Gilles! Excellent welcome and guidance for a great enjoyment of the magnificent surroundings. Breakfast in the garden is a glorious start of the day...
Pros: le petit dejeuner
Cons: We were surprised, being welcomed very warmly the first day and then a shift in the energy. Maybe because we didnt come on time for the breakfast?

Pros: Due to some unexpected constraints, we are arrived after 10. PM but the host has been very kind with us. A great location.
Pros: The owner was so nice
Pros: Calm location with beautiful views. Owner is friendly.
Cons: The gite is very hard to reach and not well located for visiting the surrounding tourist spots. No soap nor towels were provided. Car had to be parked far away from the gite with the owner providing taxi services to and from the car which meant we did not have immediate access to our car.
Pros: Wonderful views, friendly host, and the bathroom was fitted to a high standard. Lovely family dog and cold beer on arrival!
Cons: The property is 'off the beaten track , but some will prefer that. No cafes or restaurants nearby. Perhaps more importantly, the route to the property is an unmade Road, and is steep in parts and very slippery after rainfall. Not for nervous drivers.
Pros: The cottage is cooling. Bathroom, well renovated, is clean, bright and spacious. Breakfast with homemade bread and marmalade, coffee & juice in the garden , with the mountains as backdrop and my front view, is one of the best breakfast experiences ever. This place exudes tranquility and bliss.
Cons: There are no restaurants. But Michel, the host offered and provided grocery possibilities.
Pros: Very remote and an adventure to get to the site
Cons: To find the site is a real challenge
Pros: Nature, very clean, amazing place to stay if you are looking for natural place not like hotel room.
With a stay at Auberge Quintessence in Roubion, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Valberg and Space Adventure Valberg.
Pros: The location was amazing, the room was lovely. The evening meal was delicious and a great experience. A really special evening. The owner was really helpful. If you in a car or on a motorbike do not miss this.
Cons: We cycled 70 miles over the passes to get to the hotel. On arrival at 3pm we asked for some food, just bread or something and we were told it was not possible and the only option was a bowl of olives. The hotel is one hour by bike to the nearest shop. We found this attitude frustrating when the hotel clearly had a kitchen full of food.
Pros: What an amazing place! The best food I have ever eaten in the mountains. The warmest welcome from a lovely family.
Cons: I wish we could have stayed longer.
Pros: A true secret getaway on top of the World
Cons: Could have stayed one more night !

Pros: The location of the hotel is a nice place with it’s nature. The quality of water was very good.
Cons: Not clean
Cons: no lift to 3rd floor
Cons: Miserable owner
Pros: Good location. Very basic low budget place; old building. You don’t go there to spend a week’s vacation, but it suited us fine. Clean room. Decent bed. Restaurant—the only place in town to get food it seemed. We were walking, so didn’t have a lot of options and this place had everything we needed.
Pros: simple, good food. Great wee village. basic but comfortable room with double bed and bunk bed and shower'toilet room.
Pros: The staff were very friendly. Room was of a good size and bed was large and comfortable.
Cons: Light in bathroom didn't work. Food in restaurant was basic and no choice but that could be because we were only people there. Meal however was good and price was only 15 euros each for 3 courses wine and coffee so excellent value.
Pros: Very helpful and efficient staff. Everything exact like in the offer. Clean and nice. Good value for the money
Pros: Location did suit us on our trip. The Price was low, and therefor the accomodation was not luxury.
Pros: Bathroom good. Wifi available
Cons: Shabby room, not well maintained. No extras, like a fridge. No parking. Dinner in restaurant basic, meagre and expensive.
