Our room was large by European standards even though we had to have an extra cot for our daughter. Bathroom was great. View out the front was nice as well. We will stay there again. Convenient to area sights. Breakfast was excellent. Standard European breakfast buffet, but they would also make you something to order if you liked - eggs, pancakes, etc.
The Hipps were the soul of hospitality. The Hotel was the epitome of cleanliness. The most quiet nights we ever spent on vacation.
Convenient location to the Donauradweg Hotel restaurant was closed which was a surprise. Breakfast was horrid and when we asked for more coffee we got instant!
was very dated, hotel was the only place in the village / town
Very good breakfast, friendly staff, nice building in the centre of the village, nice surroundings The car park is relatively small and it was full, but there are other places to park your car close to the hotel
The breakfast buffet was fantastic !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rooms and bathroom were clean. Hotel was quiet and quaint. The tv in our room was way too small and only had about 8 channels. Plus, the curtains were sheer white, so when the sun rose the light came blasting into our room waking me up at 5:00 A.M. Need dark curtains, please !!!!!!!!!!
We received a very warm welcome in this very happy family-run hotel. The room we stayed in was quiet and spacious.
Everything about our stay was perfect except it was in the middle of nowhere which did suit us as it was cheap and we could drive anywhere we needed to go. We were in Zurich within 2 hours for a day trip. Lots of mountains and a couple of castles no more the 30 mins away. The staff were so kind and the hotel was very clean and tidy.
The room was pleasant and large (by German standards), with lots of windows, a very nice bathroom, a mini-bar, and cable tv. The bed was comfortable, the breakfast was good and the hotel owner was friendly. Since the hotel was no where near the city center (as was implied in the description) and Albstadt does not have an extensive public transportation system, I had to take taxis back and forth several times, which I had not planned on in my rather tight budget. It was also very hot while I was there and the hotel has no airconditioning or fan in the room. I had to carry my luggage up two stories in the heat, as there is no elevator.
