Beautiful building and very comfortable room.Nice staff Everything was good for us
Hotel is accessible most hours ,stakff very good.
The hotel was very pleasant and the staff very helpful and welcoming. The air conditioning was also very welcome! The restaurant was poor - we had salmon which was not cooked properly and there were no apologies offered. Also rooms did not have hair driers / irons although they were available from reception.
Staff was very accomodating and restaurant was quite good
offensive language It smelled throughout the hotel. Mainly old stale odours. The paint scheme was funerial and oppressive. It did nothing for the beauty of the building - I think you are missing a trick here..
Good restaurant, Good size clean rooms, Late Breakfast starts at 7am
Salies de Bearne The hotel room was very basic, even down to no hooks to hang your wet towels. The standard of cleanliness could of been better. The majority of the rooms are south facing, and as a result are overly hot. A sun canopy should be standard.
This hotel has nothing to reccomend it other than the view of the golf course. The room was laughingly described as a 'comfort room'. It was not clean and was poorly furnished. The carpet edges were not vacuumed and there was litter behind the set of drawers. Beneath the single pillowcase the pillow was filthy. The shower was black with mould and the glass and tiles were thick with grime. I could go on....... We stayed in eight good hotels on this holiday but this was one foul.
The hotel was lovely and in a beautiful spot, in fact we would have like to have stayed a few nights but our travels did not allow it. The receptionist was very charming and helpful.
Beautiful location wonderful views No shower curtain in triple room always mopping up no hospitality tray no choice of beer
We were made to feel very welcome by the staff. The room was very comfortable and we could not hear the other guests. The breakfast was good and fairly substantial.
Quiet location, easy to find. Modern hotel in traditional village. Offroad carparking. Restaurant with good food and continental breakfast. Lots of steps to room.
There was a strange smell pervading the whole building, resembled that of a hospital
The 30ºC heated swimming pool! Faded decor, expensive breakfasts, expensive Wi Fi.
A very quiet hotel with direct-fed pool from the thermal springs. The restaurant had a good choice of dishes at modest prices. All the staff were very pleasant, although there was one woman who locked up at 11pm who appeared to disapprove of us having a drink in the small bar area. We would have liked to have been able to have more drinks and relax, but felt that we had to return to our very hot and stuffy room as it was made very clear that we were expected to retire for the night! It was very difficult to find as the road was not recognised by our satnav. The room was very hot upon our arrival due to the fact that the shutters had been left down and the sun had been shining onto the room. The receptionist apologised for this when she opened the door! This was our only real disappointment as the room did not cool down and we had an uncomfortable night. We had the choice of leaving the shutters down all night, or raising them and being bitten by mosquitos. Air conditioning would solve this problem. We would be happy to stay there again if aircon was installed.(and maybe the bar stayed open after 11pm!)
Swinmming pool and comfortable bed and very helpful service Noise of the spa 'machinery' (particularly in the morning)
Rural situation with access to heated pool all day until 10 pm. Peaceful surroundings and staff were all very helpful. Access to web via computer in foyer. Good base so we stayed an extra 2 nights.
I booked a family room for 3 children, and 3 adults. When I checked in I was informed that I needed another room that would cost 70 extra euro, bringing the total for the room to 176 euro. The room I had booked has a double bed and 2 singles, my youngest child is 3 and slept in with my wife and i, therefore nobody stayed in the room we had to have. I would not stay in the hotel again or recomend it to any of ny collegues, Not a good hotel for family.
the hotel proprietor was very welcoming and charming, the room was nicely decorated, pretty and cosy.the evening meal was excellent and the pastry to die for! my only slight negative was the price of the wines which I thought were a bit on the high side
Although the restaurant was closed on the night we stayed. The owner of this beautifully converted chateau made us a delightful meal as we had been travelling all day. Small intimate hotel run by a husband and wife team that made us very welcome. Well worth a visit.
The room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The hotel had a swimming pool and a nice garden (and donkeys!). We had the set menu in the evening and food was fantastic. We only stayed one night but I would definitely go back, if only for the food.
The charming owners were extremely helpful and welcoming. The accommodation was most attractive and comfortable.
The helpful staff, swimming pool, delicious breakfast and dinner.
Welcome was excellent we were sorry not being able to stay longer. Definitely a place to come back too. (Next time we will ask for a larger room!) Too little light and sebsequent some difficulty closing the external shades from the windows.
Situation and ambience
friendly owners, excellent food, beautiful rooms, very quiet a little bit out of town on the by pass
Everything was perfect - a wonderful place and wonderful value for money
The nice staff, the garden and the pool. The animals. Noice traffic in room towards the road.
