Pros: This property exceeded our expectations. It is calm, clean, beatifully decorated, with a lovely garden and delicious breakfast. We toured the region by car and this was a very good choice. The host is eager to tell you about places to visit, etc. I strongly recommend that place.

7.5 Good
Pros: Our 3rd visit and stay for 3 nights! We had been looking forward to returning to Billiers and the Domaine de Rochevilaine after a gap of some years as our visits in the past held some wonderful memories. The location remains the same of course - exceptional! The revamped public areas are pleasant and of course the salon overlooking the sea with exterior terraces wonderful! The Junior Suite had a balcony overlooking to sea.
Cons: The room, a Junior suite, seemed a little dated in its decor and the twins bed very narrow and with very little mattress protection; a quality hotel charging these prices should provide complete mattress protection! The restaurant and dinner did not live up to past experiences (the Chef we knew has since retired). The service was a little hit and miss and the quality and inventiveness of the food certainly not as all seemed a bit tired....... We decided not to eat in the restaurant for the remaining nights; we also decided not to take breakfast as the formula had not changed and from past experiences did not enjoy it.....
9.5 Excellent

Cons: Nothing

7.5 Good
Pros: The site was very quiet and the primarily French holidaymakers were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Unfortunately, there were dogs on the site and it would appear that owners do not have to pick up their vermins poop and as such we had to remove poop from our pitch every morning.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Quiet location. Easy reach of the coast and places to walk and explore. Ordering breakfast was a bonus. Staff friendly.
6.8 Good
Pros: Chalet was good. Area very quiet and peaceful. Although we didn't use the pool it looked very clean and inviting. Didn't really see many staff except the owner and his wife.
Cons: Camp site was in the sticks. Even though we had our car we didn't see any public transport at all. The restaurant was closed and there wasn't a shop on the site. In the town of Ambon there wasn't really very much there. A lot of the time the bar in Ambon was closed.

Pros: The hotel was basic but fresh and clean. The staff were efficient. The breakfast was good, a normal petit dejeuner. Very convenient for our needs and easy to find. Parking opposite.
Cons: Shower head and rail did not work properly and water vv hot.
7.0 Good
Pros: We slept well, had a good breakfast and a lovely dinner in the hotel. There was a nice bar there and our host was very jovial. The parking across the street was convenient.
Cons: The bathroom was poor. The stopper in the sink didn't work and it was almost impossible to get the toilet paper out of its holder. As you can imagine, this was rather distressful !
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location, easy to walk into town, the owner and his wife are very friendly . Secure parking for my bike
Cons: Ok this hotel is dated, it smells of tobacco, and needs a bit of an upgrade, it’s like going back in time
