Located in Billom, Chambre D'hôtes Tilours is a 1-minute drive from Parc Naturel Regional Livradois-Forez and 10 minutes from Eglise de Moissat.
Pros: Very comfortable, beautifully presented and well appointed accommodation, scrupulously clean. Good location in pretty medieval quarter, but very difficult to find in the dark.
Cons: The host is over fussy, very opinionated, extremely patronising and verbose. House rules repeated to excess. As a professional couple in our 60s, we did not appreciate his lecturing and hectoring. We could not bear to stay for breakfast. Sense of humour - we don't think so!
Pros: Quirky, quaint, clean and welcoming host.
Cons: Difficult to find and appeared closed.
Cons: We liked everything, thank you
Pros: Dedicated and very helpful host. Private roof terrace. Nice living room in addition to room. Good not too soft beds.
Cons: Limited breakfast, both in selection and volume
When you stay at HotelF1 Clermont-Ferrand East (renovated) Hotel in Clermont-Ferrand, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Musee Lecoq and Musee Bargoin. Featured amenities include express check-in, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: the only thing i liked was to have a bed to sleep, and make my trip the next day.
Cons: No towels to take a shower. had to pay to have them. no i information when booking and also not by check in.
Pros: Toilet and bedroom is extremely clean and neat. Staff is friendly and helpful... All is great (except that flipper/swing door!!) Sincerely hope the management can do something to improve the overall structural of the hotel by solving the loud noise issue made by that flipper/swing door outside room 125.
Cons: Nothing we really dislike as the Cabrio room is of a decent size for 2 and is very clean and comfortable. Great value for money and we will be back if we pass by again. If I have to pin point on something, I would avoid Room 125 (or other Cabrio room close to it) as there's a flipper/swing door right outside the room and everyone has to walk through that door to their rooms or to reception/ hotel entrance/breakfast. Whenever somebody walks past, the noise made from the multiple-rebounds of the door is rather loud and makes it difficult to sleep or stay asleep.
Pros: Quite practical especially on a last minute booking. A bed to have in case of emergency. Not really a hotel type experience. Staff nice tho.
Pros: Clean and modern
Pros: Good value for the price
A stay at Appart'City Clermont Ferrand Centre places you in the heart of Clermont-Ferrand, within a 15-minute walk of Place de Jaude and Musee Bargoin. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: The staff are always welcoming. The room was clean. There's no noise, so you can sleep comfortably. Overall a very good stay :)
Pros: Location very close to central square - 20 minutes walk Breakfast was fine, if a limited choice. Help yourself buffet. WiFi, although advertised, was terrible. Had to get wired booster in room(s), My mates worked mine didn't.
Cons: Wifi coverage was dire. Better signing of (paid for) parking would have made things easier on arrival.
Pros: nice staff, good location, close to city center, supermarket 5 minutes walking ; looks a safe zone; the hotel has a parking ( not free) with limited places but there are enough disponible paid (9-19h) parking places in the street
Cons: ‘80s, old style but comfortably clean; the main room door needs to be fixed ( difficult to open ) ; discrete smell in the room but no mold
Pros: Staff were super friendly, room was much bigger than expected with tons of items and facilities provided, location could not have been more perfect
Cons: Cleanliness overall was great, but could have been a bit cleaner in the bathroom upon arrival
Pros: Location was only value that I liked. Five minute walk to all important locations in the center.
Cons: Room were not clean and basic room service was not offered. Staff was resolute and not co-operative to find solutions. Internet went down for almost whole staying time and no alternative was offered. Breakfast was something that can not be called even breakfast.
With a stay at Campanile Clermont Ferrand Centre, you'll be centrally located in Clermont-Ferrand, within a 15-minute drive of Place de Jaude and L'Aventure Michelin. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. This hotel has 2 meeting rooms available for events. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: The staff were lovely and extremely helpful. One member of staff recommended a pet friendly restaurant for me and arranged for a taxi. The bed was very comfortable and the room and bathroom were stylish and we'll equipped. I hadn't expected such a stylish room for the money.
Cons: I was under the impression there would be a restaurant on site, not just for breakfast but for am evening meal. It was very inconvenient to have to either take a taxi or walk half an hour to find anything other than a Macdonald's.
Pros: The room was clean and bright, both the bedroom and the bathroom. Overall the hotel was modern clean with clean lines and has a sense of modernity.
Cons: Hard to fault this hotel. If any criticism I would have to say that the car park is a little cramped and would be a problem if there were a lot of vehicles attempting to part as the one time.
Pros: Really loved the perfect cleanliness of the room and other common areas. The hotel is also very stylish and comfortable, staff is very polite and always ready to help.
Cons: The WiFi is pretty slow.
Pros: Great location next to rugby stadium and tram stop. All the staff day, night and housekeeping were excellent and friendly, the rooms were comfortable and warm, great hotel for short visits,. Mith
Cons: Very good but basic hotel, breakfast limeded in range but adequate in quantity, room again basic limeted storage, no armchair..
Located in Aubiere, PREMIERE CLASSE CLERMONT FERRAND SUD - Aubière is in the entertainment district, a 4-minute drive from Zenith d'Auvergne and 5 minutes from Grande Halle d'Auvergne. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby and a vending machine. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Perfect crash out for early start. Don't expect any niceties. . Pleasant personnel but make an effort with your French speaking .
Pros: Price, the round had AC and did the job only stayed for one night!
Cons: Lots of men hanging around, obviously workers passing through! Didn't feel particularly welcoming!
Pros: Nothing really
Cons: We arrived late due to traffic. No one was available to assist. Our room key did not work, despite repainting the key card several times. The hotel telephone number was permanently on answer phone and there was no emergency number to call. We had to sleep in our vehicle. The following morning. The hotelier was rude and refused to give us a refund.
Located in Clermont-Ferrand, Premiere Classe Clermont Ferrand Nord is a 4-minute drive from L'Aventure Michelin and 10 minutes from Zenith d'Auvergne. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby and an elevator.
Pros: The room was clean and the parking seemed secure!
Cons: The room was just that, as room, expect nothing more. Absolutely no room to move around and our twin beds were pushed together in order to open the door! My computer would not allow access to the free Wifi because the encrypted certificates have been compromised. I bought this the the attention of one of our hostess's but her lack of command of the English language was lacking and she did not understand. I asked them to contact their IT expert and get it straight, but I seriously doubt if she cared one iota. There was no internet signal in my room. Beds were not comfortable and the one pillow would hardly be considered support....So both my wife and I had a bad sleep. Breakfast was cheap....and no where in the world can it be considered a breakfast, even on Continental terms. If you need a room...fine otherwise please look elsewhere. and worse hotel we've stayed at after 600 days in Europe. D-
Pros: Comfortable bed and clean room.
Cons: For a non smoking room, the room smelled badly of smoke and was positioned by the outdoor smoking area. Not a pleasant experience.
Pros: Breakfast - little below average. Location - good
Cons: Please wash the shower curtains.
Pros: Easy to find and with lots of free parking space on the property, public transport at a short distance, good for one night.
Cons: Noise from other guests in the evening and the low-budget style; would not advise for longer stays than a single night.
Pros: Staff tried to get our rooms as close together as possible - it was a late booking - ok for a transit stop wouldn’t recommend for long term
Cons: Small bathroom I’m a bit cuddly and find the pod bathrooms cramped
Pros: Bed comfy...
Cons: Only one plug socket....electric off on arrival in room...pillows awful...need 2...no floor towel in bathroom...it gets very slippy...

Cons: Nothing to complain about.
Pros: Bedrooom comfortable enough and had bath. Very nice staff and check in and out.
Cons: Don’t advertise a gym unless equip works. Treadmill didn’t work, rowing machine couldn’t function - so annoying when you specifically select hotel for a gym (sometimes paying more) and it is unusable.
Pros: The location and desk staff are superb. Hotel was heated well. The Wifi worked well.
Cons: The Orange machine was empty, the bedroom toilet had not been cleaned (unfleshed from previous occupant). Only 1 very flat pillow was for each person is offered . The coffee machine was not clean with unwashed splashes covering the are where the cup should be placed. Breakfast "hot offering " was incomplete. Only Scrambled egg was on offer with 2 empty dishes next to it.
Pros: despite COVID-19 the staff handled the situation perfectly and did everything within their power to make the stay as “normal” as possible
Pros: How do you calculate at score of 3.3? This is mis-selling. This hotel is awful. Awful location. Awful facility, that is unless you’re looking for a sleepless night and nefarious things going on.
Cons: It was awful. Location. Tired. Smelly. Air con doesn’t work. Suspect things going on in the reception area

Pros: Staff was friendly and helpful.
Cons: The space in the room was so small, hard to move.
Pros: Excellent and very reasonable restaurant. We accidentally left our passports at the hotel and were advised promptly of our mistake, and the passports kept safe pending our return a week later.
Pros: The location is just about right if you need to visit the Hospital or the University, with public transportation at the doorstep for everything else and Taxi to the airport for less than 20 EUR.
Cons: The bed was nice looking, maybe new, but during my stay of three nights, I woke up several times, wet and feeling like drowning. The bed was all wet. After the third day I found that the bed had a plastic sheet, under the linen, that most likely stopped all perspiration. This explained why I during the nights got wet. I do spend around 50 nights/year in a hotel but for me this was a new "sensation". I discussed it with the maintenance people, that referred to the fact the the new beds had to be protected from any "mishaps". I understand, but there must be a possibility to combine the fair request of a good sleep, with the need to protect the property of the Hotel. Maybe as simple as just putting an extra textile layer between the linen and that plastic "stuff". Otherwise OK, even good, although it is in the middle of a large renovation project.
Pros: Good location - for us
Cons: The room is too small
Pros: Staff were very helpful
Cons: Building works

Cons: the rooms are small but probably good value for money.
Pros: Great stop gap x
Pros: Clean, comfortable and convenient. Great value for money. Great selection of restaurants locally plus Lidl supermarket nearby. Used this hotel several times and will use it again.
Pros: room clean and tidy
Cons: breakfast facilities
Pros: There is a lot of restaurant's locally within in a 2 minutes walk Perfect location for a stop over.
Pros: Value for money. Located well for eating.
Cons: No lift. We should have asked for the ground floor.

Pros: Friendly helpful staff , good location Would recommend it
Cons: There were no negatives for our visit
Cons: I could hear people talking at the front desk all night long. The shower was a mess. Then nobody was there when I left.
Pros: The service, the staff member remained at the reception until our late arrival. The room was exactly what was mentioned, and the added bonus was the kitchen with all the amenities. The surrounding area also has wild deers that roam free! It was lovely to see in the morning.
Cons: The location was a little out the way. We got to Bordeaux airport quite late (11:30 pm) so the walk to the hotel did not feel safe at all.

With its meeting room, our Clermont-Ferrand hotel invites you to enjoy its bar and gourmet store for your relaxation in the lobby or on the terrace. Pros: Big room and comfortable
Cons: The location
Pros: Friendliness on reception and the room was very nice - the breakfast was good value and suggest always book including breakfast Nice and close to the Autoroute for onward journeys Would have loved to have spent more time to see what the town offered
Cons: Having to pay to park the car - think in this day and age it should be included in the option when booking at discounted rates. The lack of food on offer in the evening - it would have been nice to have been offered something other than Pizza
Pros: Not much I liked tbh,
Cons: Old, rundown, cleanliness was questionable to say the least. Won't go there again.
Pros: I was visiting with a friend for an international rugby match at the Stade Marcel Michelin. Excellent location, an easy 5 minute walk from the hotel to the stadium. We didn't want to pay for 2 rooms but my friend has difficulty sleeping so sharing a room is complicated - we booked a superior double suite with sofa bed which was just what we needed - a curtain can be drawn across separating the bed from the sofa bed and giving each occupant some privacy. Very nice facilities in the room (tv and stand can be moved around a little, coffee/team making facilities, a couple of small biscuits/cakes are offered), very clean bathroom with both bath and shower. Very reasonable price for the size of the room (30m2). We booked with breakfast included - the breakfast is excellent with plenty of choice including hot and cold food, sweet and savoury, cereals, juice, tea, coffee etc. And finally but very important, all the members of the hotel staff that we met (reception, dining room, cleaning staff) were very friendly, polite and cheerful. I would definitely reserve this hotel again if I were to return to Clermont.
Cons: The only slightly negative point is that the hotel parking is not free, and costs 12.50€ which I thought was quite expensive. The hotel is on a road with purple parking zones and so it is definitely cheaper than parking in the street, but many hotels have free parking so this would have been great.

Cons: Bose should be in this box!
Pros: Reasonable choice and decent coffee!
Pros: Great for our regular stay in Clermont

Pros: Excellent breakfast
Cons: Lift is noisy and sound from stairs and rooms above
Pros: EXCELLENT BREAKFAST LOCATION GREAT LIFT NOT WORKING THOUGH FROM TIME TO TIME AND MY ROOM WAS ON THE 7 FLOOR!
Cons: LIFT NOT OPERATIONAL
Pros: Staying on 8th floor and elevator wasn’t working
Pros: The location of the hotel is very close to the center and main attractions. The room was clean and the staff was kind.
Cons: The elevator was not working properly.
Pros: Close to centre, clean rooms and shared spaces, good breakfast, nice and helpful personell. The rooms and lobby has been recently renovated. Some wear in elevator, corridor and in some details that show the age of the facility.
Cons: Some noise from corridor, room door could be more firm. However, it was very quiet on my stay, but I could imagine noise in room if there was noisy night people in corridor.
Pros: Clean, had everything you need for a comfortable stay. Helpful staff. Loved the frozen yogurt for breakfast!

Spacious guest rooms and suites feature panoramic vistas of the city, and three conference rooms accommodate your business meetings. During your leisure time, work out in the fitness room, soak up the sun on our terrace and savour a glass of local wine - and the magnificent view from the bar.
Pros: Great location
Pros: Very good breakfast and location.
Cons: Annoying light sensor that comes on at night if you move your leg in bed at night above a certain level. Can't switch off the light sensor.
Pros: Very central. Room had a nice view over the Place Jaude. We arrived on a Sunday evening and the staff told us which restaurants would be open (many are closed on a Sunday). Although the parking is not attached to the hotel the instructions they gave us were very helpful and the discount was decent. All in all very pleasant.
Cons: The weather! It was chucking it down.
Pros: The staff were lovely and the breakfast was the best I've had - so fresh and good. I had to leave very early and the waiter put my coffee in a takeaway cup and offered me to take some croissants or fruit with me. Very nice. Only disappointment was that there was no restaurant.
Cons: No restaurant was surprising. Limited food menu is available at the bar or as room service but I wasn't sure about getting anything as they didn't have an actual restaurant. Pillows weren't too comfortable.
Pros: Staff were excellent and they couldn’t do enough to assist guests
Cons: Restaurant facilities were limited to breakfast although the breakfast was very good.
Pros: Very central for bus station, good restaurants and trams.
Pros: The hotel is very central with easy access to the tram and a short walk to the Cathedral area. The breakfast was reasonably priced and had a good selection....... and was available until 11.00 am
Cons: Car park was close by but the discount for residents wasnt much and only appliued to the first 48 hours, not quite 3 full days still cost 32 euros
