With a stay at Gasthof Zum Lüdertal in Grossenlueder, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Palace Park and Kloster Frauenberg. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Even though I didn't speak German the staff tried their hardest to speak with me and make me feel welcome.
Cons: Only downfall for me was as I were a tourist and hadn't rented a car, I was using train as my main way of transportation. The hotel was a fair distance away from where the train station other than that it is amazing.
Pros: The single deluxe room with large beds is very comfortable. The bathroom is very nicely furnished and the whole room is renovated.
Cons: The breakfast.

Pros: Close to public transport and shopping centres
Pros: Staff and the location.
Pros: nice, clean, large rooms - good to reach from train station (500m walk)
Pros: Breakfast was a very good selection of everything, with large mugs for tea if you do not like a teapot. The train station was easily reached on foot. So were the sights. The staff were very pleasant and attentive.
Cons: I could not see any prepared Bircher muesli in the breakfast buffet
Pros: Friendly staff and fantastic hotel
With a stay at Maritim Hotel am Schlossgarten Fulda in Fulda, you'll be within a 5-minute walk of Palace Park and St Michael's Church. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a 24-hour business center, and express check-in. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Great central location, good facilities with pool and sauna. Very quiet due to being next to a park and away from the road.
Cons: Very unhappy about having my money taken out of my card in advance of my stay. I was planning to pay when checking out, as I have always done. This has never happened to me in dozens of bookings in Germany and elsewhere. Also, I think it's pretty cheeky to charge guests 15 Euro per night for parking. Lastly, the air extraction fan in the bathroom, which has no window, was not working.
Pros: restaurant Dianakeller is excellent, both the place itself and the food, but the hotel is a bit „tired“. Everything was very clean though, but for over hundred euros per night, value for money wasn‘t great really.
Pros: The orangeriet
Cons: Reception and room
Pros: Location, super friendly receptionist, a bedroom without having to go on a hike to find it
Cons: Nothing really, oh perhaps drinking water and cups in Sauna area would have been good.
Pros: Very good location, walking distance from the centrum.
Cons: Breakfast was not included. Paid parking. My room was very small. Overall more expensive than I expected for the experience I had.

Pros: Staff behaviour, coffee 24hrs

Cons: The hotel is good, I did not dislike anything.
Pros: Very helpful staff, charming room and venue, value for money restaurant, remarkable breakfast, Tesla destination charger available.
Cons: One of the window blinder not functioning
Pros: Awesome place with large lobby. I could just imagine how people used to live here more then a century ago. It was overwhelming
Cons: Staff at the bar were very slow. No one came to collect an order for me for more then 20 minutes. And when they did, they forgot to bring my order for over 10 minutes. I ordered one beer.
Cons: We are used from UK and USA to have a kettle and often a fridge in the room. It would be so nice if we could find these things also more often in German hotels as well Otherwise this hotel is highly recommendable.
Pros: We loved the place, town and the staff members.. we will difinitely go back..
Cons: Only concern was, we got a twin bed. So to sleep with the child was not really confortable, we did not request it before neither requested to change after arrival... Since we both work in Hospitality, sometimes the anticipating the need of customers will change a whole lot of their view..

Pros: good location, not far away from Fulda. nice room with balcony, pool, sauna, bar, breakfast, staff very nice and friendly parking OK for me 8,5 and very good.
Cons: the bed was OK, nice and comfortable, but while you sleep the mattress can slip away :-(
Pros: It was really quiet! The staff was amazing.
Cons: The sauna and spa was quite complex and was located on two floors, very uncomfortable. The relaxation area however was beautiful.
Pros: The room was clean and it had a balcony which was nice. The breakfast was really good.
Pros: Size Cleaness Balkony
Cons: -Short breakfast times and bad organisation in the breakfast area (running out of all things) - no fridge in room - Registration takes ages
Pros: nice hotel with wellness/pool facilities two pools / fresh and salt water ( warm ) not far away from Fulda, with car good reachable parking outside the hotel very good brakfast staff very polite recommend, I always use this hotel when stay in Fulda
Located in Fulda, Hotel Hirsch is within a 15-minute walk of Fulda Cathedral and Palace Park. The front desk is staffed during limited hours.
Pros: Room was nice, just nice.
Cons: Wifi worked not even half of the time. No one was never at the counter, and when I asked people in the restaurant, they told me every time with an angry expression to go back to the counter and that someone would come shortly. In booking.com it said that there was a TV screen. Nowhere to be seen. Very noisy and heating only worked half of the night. For 48 euros, it was too much for nothing. Not recommendable. Will never hesitate on AirBnB again
Pros: Not bad for the price. The bedroom was spotless. Small but adequate and served it's purpose. The staff were friendly and helpful. The man at reception carried my heavy bag upstairs for me, and the lady in the kitchen was lovely. The two of us spoke together in broken German for about half an hour.
Cons: No complaints. Just be aware that if you come before check-in hoping to store your bags you will have to wait for someone to exit the building. Contacting them beforehand doesn't result in any response and no one seems to answer the phone (once I got inside all was good though. I was allowed to put my bag in the storage room. Thank God because I arrived very early and had visions of having to lug it around with me all day).
Pros: The room was pretty big and the beds comfortable. They also have a restaurant where they make excellent turkish food.
Pros: Location is amazing. Super friendly staff. Lovely building.
Pros: The breakfast was good with a lot of variety. The conditions were clean, and the bed was firm and comfortable, and the location was quiet, even though my room was on the street side. Staff is friendly and helpful, but not always available. You need a room key to enter from outside into the lobby, which was confusing when I first arrived. Someone let me in after a few minutes, and all went well, but not before I began to worry that I'd never gain entrance. I did not notice a buzzer or any instructions for dealing with the locked door.
Cons: I disliked not knowing how to contact staff upon arrival or at other times after checking in.

Pros: The rooms were quiet (couldn't hear other guests) & very clean. Breakfast was a good variety & the resturant clean. The staff were friendly & professional.
Cons: Our only difficulty was the hotel parking - once getting in by car, difficult to navigate on foot as access seemed to be the same way for pedestrians and cars - which was not obvious the first time round. Better signage needed.

Pros: Absolutely the best location possible for anyone traveling by train. One block away from the station and not seedy as I some places so close. The old town, castle & Dom are only about a 5-minute walk away. Fan in the room that makes for comfort except in rarely hot weather. Helpful and friendly friendly staff.
Cons: Can be a little noisy in the city with windows open.
Pros: The location is very strategic and easily accessible
Cons: The only thing i disliked about the room was the twin bed, every other thing was worth it.
Pros: I had stayed here before, and the room this time was nice and larger than before

When you stay at Landhaus Bettina in Fulda, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Kloster Frauenberg and Schloss Fasanerie. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Clean, good public transport connections, quiet neighborhood, cozy room.
Cons: This is a small building: the ground floor is used as a bed&breakfast and there are other people living in the first floor, who I’m assuming own the property. I think it was very inconsiderate and rude of them being so loud. I couldn’t fall asleep until they stopped going in and out and speaking so loudly at 1 am. Also, the toilet smelled bad.
Pros: New and well equipped apartment, with very nice bathroom. Parking in front of house. Wery quite neighborhood.
Cons: Beds in livingroom not to good.
Pros: Cleanliness, quiet, dark
Cons: Run down, smelly, didn't match photos and description
Pros: The studio apartment is located in a quiet neighbourhood yet it’s easy to get to from the highway. Close to both the city center and to green areas. The apartment is super cozy and fully furnitured with all appliances for short term vacations. It’s EXTREMELY clean and tidy. I will defintely check in here again!
Pros: It was nice and clean and it was really nice to have a coffee perculator in the room, with fresh smelling coffee grounds! The communal toilet was kept spotless, which really impressed me (it's a small room, literally like a closet... so that makes it even harder to keep clean, imh. Either the staff were checking it regularly, or no one else was using it apart from me!).
Cons: Unfortunately I was in the front room and there was no privacy from the street. People walk past only a meter away from the window. During the day you can't close the blinds because then the room is too dark, but at night the two blinds don't meet in the middle so there's a gap that passers by can see through (so don't get undressed with the lights on!). Another downside to this room is that every time a guest rings the door bell (half of the existing guests seem to forget their keys every time they go out to their cars) you have to answer the door if the reception staff are occupied with something else, or simply don't hear it. One guest even tapped on my window several times (she saw me sitting in my room) which got really annoying after a while (I let her in though, because clearly no one else was coming to answer the door. She kept apologising yet still kept forgetting her key). Probably the other rooms are fine and none of these things are an issue. Just request not to have the front room! (If there is nothing else available then stay somewhere else). Also, the mattress was too soft and lumpy for me so I didn't sleep well, and being right next to the front door I heard everyone coming and going until late at night and then again early the next morning (had some loud ladies yabbering away at the top of their voices a little before 6am. Although it's not super early, it's still dark and it would have been nice to have a little extra rest during my break time). Be aware that the toilet is outside the room (as clearly stated on the website) so you must leave your room to use it. Shower was clean, but needs hooks to hang towels/clothes on (kinda important). Otherwise, no more complaints! ;-)
Pros: Very nice location. Quiet and peaceful. Very good to do hiking and tours around/in Fulda. Very helpful with tipps for things to do and see in Fulda
Cons: a little small for 3 adults, but with small luggage and for a weekend it is fine.
Pros: Fantastic place! It was so close to nature.
Pros: check in was smooth despite an easy solved conflict the apartement was central and very spacious was clean and easy to be maintained clean with the provided cleaning tools the kitchen has what ever needed the furniture is old but does the work
Cons: there is no washing machine the windows cushins aren't sufficient to darken the place and can be annoying in the summer specially with the very early sun rise
Located in Petersberg, Landhotel Rhönblick is within a 15-minute drive of St Michael's Church and Palace Park. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Cons: Problems with internet connection...
Pros: Room was really nice and super clean! Friendly customer service.
Pros: bed blankets were very cosy
Cons: apartment to be accessed from the main building via back yard

Cons: Apparently they normally do not serve lunch.
The Hotel am Dom is situated in the historical centre of Fulda, in a peaceful location. The renovated 3-star hotel offers free WiFi internet access throughout. Rooms at the Hotel am Dom are equipped with a flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom with a hairdryer and complimentary toiletries. The Rhön Mountains, one of Germany's most beautiful low mountain ranges, are ideal for hiking, cycling, sailing and paragliding, or skiing in the winter. Enjoy the Baroque-style architecture in the Old Town which is only a 5-minute walk from the hotel. Parking is available for a fee and it's subject to availability.
Cons: Clean, cute, all what you need, nice lobby bar, friendly stuff...near historical part of town
Pros: Nice clean hotel. Quiet.
Cons: It’s not really “am” Dom more like round a corner down a side street from Dom. But it’s fine
Pros: Excelent with good choice of food and helpful staff.
Cons: No kettle in room
Pros: Recently renovated and spotless. Parking available on site a small charge. Rooms were a good size and well equipped. WIFi worked well. Breakfast was of good quality. Hotel now has a small lobby bar which was nice. Very close to a very good brewery/beer house and a short walk to lots of good restaurants.
Cons: Check in can be slow if you arrive at the same time as others. Only one person seems to man reception. The fan in the bathroom is powerful and noisy running for quite a while before cutting out. If you don’t get on with the German standard square pillow you may wish to take your own.
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff, just 10 min walk from train station, quite street, nice restaurant one minute away, good value for money
Pros: Good location, very good breakfast
Cons: The lightning in the room was not sufficient. No mini bar.
With a stay at Aparthotel Paradies in Bad Salzschlirf, you'll be a 5-minute walk from Bad Salzschlirf Observatory and 12 minutes by foot from Mariengrotte. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Very nice village with beautiful surroundings. Lovely room with all we could ask for and very comfortable bed. Very good breakfast. Very good value for the money. We will be happy to come back!
Pros: We stayed in the hotel during Covid-19 period, so the hotel was almost empty and silence which is good for me. Although we booked the smallest room, there was a kitchen with full equipment, so we did able to cook inside. The lady who welcome us was smiling all the time and she was friendly.
Cons: The smallest room is really small to spend time inside. Since the hotel located in a small city, the restaurant options nearby are limited, especially late night.
Pros: The owner (‘immi’ )was most helpful and breakfast just excellent in selection and quality. Super clean rooms and house!
Pros: We were in this hotel in the begining of July. Hotel was very clean, there were this old German charm but quite modern at the same time. The owner (I presume) vas very nice and caring. Did her best to give some instructions (we came very late) - over the phone in english - which was really nice and comforting considering our long day on German motorway filled with road works. Breakfast was really nice. All in all we would come back any time.
Pros: Everything was very clean, breakfast was delicious and every morning there was something else!
Pros: Full equipped and very nice room. The location and the breakfast were great.
Pros: Excellent hotel. Nicely designed, modern rooms. Perfectly clean. Fantastic breakfast. Friendly staff.
