Pleasant small hotel in a charming Alsacian village, just a short detour from the Reims-Strassbourg autoroute. Good in-house restaurant. No bad points.
Silence. Free parking. Location.
A very friendly and welcoming hotel. Knowledgeable and helpful staff and excellent food. The room was very comfortable.
Friendly welcome.Central location and charming setting.
lovely old village with beautiful houses
The Host, good wit and humour good local knowledge no
Selection of breakfast options At the time of our brief stay one side of the building was swathed in building works
All the staff were very friendly and coped with our suspect language skills adequately. Food was good both evening and breakfast. Had some considerable trouble finding the hotel asthe road signs in and around saverne leave something to be desired.
The room was spacious, very modern, clean and comfortable. The food at the hotel was also excellent.
very good restaurant
The food was excellent. Scenery beautiful. Lovely indoor swimming pool. No swimming towels provided
The hotel is family run with a great atmosphere, very relaxed. Nothing is to much trouble to make your stay a memorable one.Food and wine exellent. Hotel is very clean. Views from hotel wonderful
Although the hotel was some distance away from our travelling route, it's setting in beautiful scenery made the detour very worthwhile. No.
Large room , friendly staff , good location close to Strasbourg and Vosges mountains. Room looks much nicer on pics than in reality ; outside urgently needs a repaint
the room had a fridge and microwave with seating area which we were not expecting and we found it very useful for this trip the view from the hotel resaurant varender was beautiful N/A
The room was large, clean and comfortable. It was an older property but was in pretty good shape. It was a great place for families.
Very friendly and helpful staff (owner). Good location near the Alsace Wine Route. Delicious dinner accompanied by some good wine. All at a very acceptable price. If you are planning to use the bikes for rent (mentioned on the website) don't expect much. The exterior of the hotel could take some refreshing.
More a small holiday home than a hotel bedroom. Lots of space, small kitchen, dining table and chairs. No late check-in.
The location is excellent and one could self-cater or dine at the in- house restaurant. Ours was a Studio roome with the advantages of a Gite and a hotel rolled into one. We were there for 12 nights and enjoyed every moment. Sports facilities including swimming near by. Wasselonne village is close by and the people are great. We were a little close to the kitchen and with the weather being warm noise came through the open door of the kitchen. Not a big problem.
We were disappointed initially as the hotel's terrace did not look anything like it's picture. The views are very limited. However, we enjoyed our stay and for the price, it was very comfortable and near some lovely areas. Wasselonne is a lovely little town. We had a E23 meal at the hotel which was excellent value.
The apartment arrangement was particularly good for a family with teenagers or younger children. Not really equipped for full meal making but enough for breakfast and snacks all day long. BBQ facilities for the summer and a pretty outside sitting area for the room added to the sense of freedom. Very quiet and peacefull with very kind staff, although you do need some French or German to ease your way. The only thing that could make the place even better would be a lick of paint or varnish. The outside seemed a bit neglected, but this was only cosmetic. Everything was clean and the inside of the rooms and the main areas were fine.
Arrived late when reception closed but receptionist helped to make it possible for us to access our rooms. Above average breakfast and staff were ready for us early. None to mention
