Location was nice Room had garbage on floor when we arrived. Toilet was covered in hair n old urine. Room smelled of feces. Pool was cold and dirty. Not enough pool Towels. Pool was small. Too many people for that size pool. Front desk staff not attentive
I like that there is a restaurant and bar located in the hotel. There was food under the bed.
The pool area was nice Our room was not very clean. Remnants of food on the floor.
The location was close to the mall Bed was lumpy and hard. Toilets flushed very loud. Thin walls. Heater turned on and off very loud. Swimming towels not stocked. Front desk staff not friendly. Roll service order was messed up. Vending machines don't vend properl . We don't get away from home very often so this was supposed to be a fun little get away for us. It ended up being the worst hotel stay that we've had in a while! This is not including other hotel guests that were noisy or not watching their own children in the pool area. We had chosen this hotel for the pool area for our kids to have fun swimming.
tv microwave fridge Out dated, door hits toilet, stains in ceiling, carpet failing 130 not value for competition, missing light bulbs, no available outlets at desk
Location, cost Some things in the rooms were very new and up to date. Other random things like light plate covers and doors were old and beat up and not clean. The lobby was ghost-like--I hardly saw other guests. The night I ordered food in the restaurant there was lots of commotion in the kitchen and the staff told me they were just kidding around--very unprofessional. This probably used to be a nice hotel, but it less than homey and comfortable now.
Great staff, good rooms, and an overall pleasant stay!
Northern hospitality Parking wasn't clear to customers
This used to be my favorite place in Bismarck because it was near both the downtown and new areas of the city. I have stayed there numerous times (including annual business conferences) since 2012. I even went so far to get a Carlson Club card because my wife and I were intending to stay there the first weekend of every month. Unfortunately, itt has really deteriorated in the last 90 days. First, they changed the menu at the hotel restaurant. It used to sport first class food at a reasonable price. Now, its oilfield slop at the ridiculous prices charged out west where we're from. Second, have they started a "hire the convict" policy recently? Every single person who works there either had a nose ring, tattoos, a pony tail or looked like they just left either drug rehab or the State Penn. There, literally, was not one time I was in the lobby where this mope had not just mopped the floor and glared at me for walking over it to the parking lot. Third, finish the construction on the lower level of your parking facility please. It was under construction the previous month but, this past weekend, we couldn't park our Ford Explorere anywhere because not enough spaces, A-holes who parked ahead of us took up 2 spaces and 3 tour buses were hogging the street and back lot. Finally, the place is developing a "run down" look. Our room was shabby, smelled like feet and...well...sucked! Come on Radisson, at $111 per night, we're going to check out your competitors and, if things don't improve, I won't be staying there again. Sorry!
The sleep number bed option was great to try since I've never been on one and have been considering the purchase of one lately. Right downtown; easy to walk to the mall, restaurants, & parks. It seemed like we were the only people there and the pool was great. Breakfast wasn't included because there is a restaurant in the hotel. We didn't eat there because it smelt like bad cafeteria food.
Everything smelled of Cigarette smoke, carpet dirty and coming off the floor. chairs dirty. bed sagged in the middle, you had to sleep on the edges. this was a $10.00 Room at the most. Gangs wandering the streets at night. seat lose on the tiolet.
This hotel is nice and quiet. I was able to sleep soundly and comfortable throughout the night. The staff was very friendly. My check in was easy and went smoothe. I would stay here again. Thank you.
We had booked a non-smoking room with a king sized bed. The bed was not king sized and it was obvious it was not a non-smoking room. There was no hot water in the bathroom which was not repaired before we left. The furniture and carpet were old and very dirty. We will never stay there agqin.
Two guard dogs were barking when I showed up at the main office...that should have given me a clue...office was messy with about 12 tv's in the lobby, smelled, live in manager was in her nightie and robe. Room was relatively clean, had the basics, soap crumbled in my hands three times in five days, they forgot to clean the room one day, etc. Compared to the hotels today, this one is on my ''forget it'' list. Travel website should not use this hotel in the future...it is a direct reflection on them as well.
When I made my reservation for my 5-16-09 stay the site said there was a pool and playground. The indoor pool has now been convered into the owners apartment. They have couches and so forth setup around the pool I guess so they can just jump right in, in the morning but guests could no longer use it. The ''play ground'' consisted of 2 chairs and a little plastic table but not accessable to guests as the owners allow their two german shepard dogs to use it as a dog kennel. The staff though VERY friendly were also very dirty and unkept with greasy hair and over all personal hygine issues. The hotel on the outside had it not been to late to cacel my reservation wanted me to turn around and leave it was trashy looking.. HOWEVER and I do have something good to say. It was quiet, the rooms were actually clean and the beds comfortable. Will I say there again....NO WAY
This is the best stay we have had from Montana to Wisconsin. Thank you!
The hotel has changed to a rent by the week place. It is DIRTY, they didn't service my room in three days. The management keeps vicious dogs in a pen right outside the office. They don't like travel agency My room badly needed repairs. The air conditioner/heater didn't work but it made LOTS of noise. DON'T STAY HERE!
I booked a room on July 16th, 2009. I went to check in and noticed the pest folks spraying. I got my room key and was directed to the 2nd floor. The rooms were outside entry, which is normally not a problem. Walking up the fillthy stairs was a bit scary. I got to my room and the window was so dirty. I went inside and it really smelled. I looked around abit, let my bag on the desk, sealed of course, and let to work my show that I was in town for. The show ended at 7:00 and I was getting quite stressed about my accomidations. By 5:00, I called the Express Inn, booked a room, picked up my bag at the Budget Inn, left the key and cruised. I can only hope the Budget Inn Express will use the free money they got from me on some very serious cleaning supplies.
Overall everything was excellent. The staff and service was great. Our room had a comfortable bed and was clean. It was a good value in our trip. Thank you.
This Place was really nice and quiet. There was hardly any noise to keep us awake. Very good location for our needs. We will stay here again. Thank you.
Stay away from this place. You could get hurt (a very rough part of town) It was run down dirt and I wouldn't put my dog in this place.
The staff here are very friendly and helpful. It is a good place to stay. I felt secure and safe here. Thank you.
