We choose this as a stopover hotel on way to Geiranger from Bergen, was a great decision. Overlooks the ferry dock and the fjord. Beautiful small hotel with great and friendly staff. The local scenery is to die for, we had a great run along the fjord and had to stop to keep taking breathtaking pictures.
Very cosy, beautiful decoration, friendly staff. Really good location. Only one toilet, could have been two.
It was supposed to have wi-fi in the entire hotel, but it was working only in the base floor where the reception and restaurant is.
We enjoyed our short break in this less known place in the Western part of the Sogne Fjord; the region is ideal for cycling and hiking. The friendly Dutch owners of the hotel give all advice you may need. The village of Lavik is mainly a ferry port and not much of a beauty. As we stayed there at the last weekend of Norwegian holidays traffic was rather intensive.
We loved our stay there, it felt very cosy and homely and we were very well taken care of. Its a great place to go n relax for a few days with amazing view of the fjords. They ave a lovely library in place for people looking for a getaway from the hustle of city life
Great couple running the show, beautiful room and access to the ferry. Food was also delicious.
