Lovely large, comfortable room and very good service. Convenient location in Pitlochry, which is a great base for enjoying the surrounding area.
food and staff were great. Rooms very clean. Staff gave excellent suggestions for day trips. I had to really rack my brain to find anything to suggest for improvement. The only thing I could come up with is that the coffee was weak and could be stronger.
Friendly welcome. The location. Home cooked food. Pleasant atmosphere.
Friendly welcome, good breakfast excellent friendly service and would stay there again if we were in the area.
They gave us a really good welcome and were very attentive during our stay. It was a comfortable place and quiet, peaceful, very restful. We felt we weren't rushed at the meals and were always on hand to see to any needs required. Very helpful. Although the hotel does not 'cater' for disabled people my only two complaints was about the room (12) on the ground floor. The kettle was on a shelf under the TV and the cable was too short to lift the kettle up any higher, with the result it was a bending and awkward experience. As a disabled person had my husband not been there I would not have been able to make our coffee. The power points were also very low to the floor and I had difficulty with them. They were also in the wrong position for mirrors when drying/styling hair. I'm sure had I said to them they would have replaced the kettle with an adequate length cable.
attention to detail. Breakfast superb, well cooked and presented in a delightful dining room
it was very close to the wedding venue we were attending we were made a little uncomfortable asking for a late key- we needed this if we were staying out after 11:15pm
The owners, John and Viv Holmyard made us feel very welcome. The bedroom and ensuite were clean and of a good size. Breakfast was excellent. Pitlochry is a great place to visit with its shops and the theatre and the extremely beautiful Perhshire hills as a backdrop. My wife and I have no complaints about this hotel. It is excellent.
Location, excellent breakfast, quiet spot.
Owner and staff very helpful throughout our stay. Food & cleanliness excellent.
That you could eat dinner there The curtains let the sun in early in the morning, waking us up
Good bathroom; very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Good choice of food and thoughtful welcoming staff. Room a bit dark with only a slanted view past roofs.
Location and food were both excellent.
Lovely hotel. No complaints. We decided to have our evening meal at the restaurant and we all thought the food was excellent. Would definitely stay there again.
very clean, welcoming, facilities very good for families and will certainly stay again in the future. Thank you and hope to see you soon. Bye for now, Sheila J. Preston.
Friendly, efficient staff and the food was excellent.
Warm fire, staff, price of room and in the hotel Cobwebs in room, food very nice but one dish a bit burnt
A lovely hotel with beautiful views. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Our room was quite spacious and the breakfast was excellent.
Price - only £35 per night for two people. Food - great selection and great quality. First night the hotel seemed understaffed. An Australian staff member seemed rushed off her feet and as a result looked pretty stressed.
Beautiful location, very cool little inn right by Loch Tay. Good fod too. I would highly recommend this hotel. None
