The staff was very friendly . Even with a problem, not of their own as a water main was broken on the highway resulting in some issues with their water quality, the staff went above and beyond to make sure the impact was minimal on their guests, There was nothing not to like.

Location was good. Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Room was too small for the price paid. Need more electrical outlets on both sides of the bed. The hot continental breakfast was average at best. Rubbery tasting food.
View and golf courses
Very clean and pleasant staff. The room was a good size. Nice breakfast selection. Great value. The only negative was a mattress that lacked a lot of comfort. Not really.
Clean hotel with a friendly staff. No complaints
VERY CLEAN ROOMS AND ATTRACTIVE LANDSCAPING, STAFF WAS VERY PLEASANT. WOULD DEFINITELY STAY AGAIN
The hotel itself and the rooms were VERY clean, the beds were so comfy, like sleeping on a cloud, the pillows were so soft, the scenery was AMAZING! Breakfast was very adequate much more than your typical continental breakfast. Most beautiful duvet covers Hotel was so crowded that you could not find any 'carts' to take your luggage to your room. The staff was very friendly and accommodating but did not seem to go above and beyond. That's the only bad things.
Location, food, cleanliness, and friendly staff made this an excellent choice. No.
The scenery was breathtaking. The room was extremely cold we tried bumping the thermostat to 77 to try & have it somewhat closer to 70, the thermostat may not have been working right, my husband is never cold & he was even complaining. Also the shower lever was not easy to use..
The location The breakfast was terrible!! Don't waste your time on waking up for breakfast. It was a nasty mess.
Very clean and roomy. Enjoyed our time We were there 2 nights. Opted for keeping our sheets but expected that the waste baskets would be emptied! PS. my name is: Patricia Corvi Roach
Clean and convenient Everything was good
Friendly staff. Fire pit and outdoor water feature and seating were relaxing. Long black hair hanging down from curtain onto the heating/cooling unit. Long black hair on my pillowcase. Pubic hair on the zipped up linens used for the pull-out sofa. Steve did replace linens and vacuumed curtain. No one ever came to fix shower door. It made a loud cracking noise every time it opened. They stocked soy and skim milk for breakfast. When I complained to Natalie, the housekeeping manager went out and purchased a gallon of 2% milk the next morning.
Hi def large flat screen. Clean clean rooms Shower and toilet not together
Room was large, bed was comfortable, staff was friendly. Shower had some mildew, water from shower upstairs was very loud. The whirlpool was too hot and the water jets weren't set properly, so water was going all over the floor. Overall, the price was pretty high for a 3-star room.
This area wouldn't be anywhere you'd want to stay if you didn't have a purpose of going there, but the hotel itself is pretty good overall especially compared to what surrounds it, so you wont be disappointed if you've chosen this as you're pitstop to you're actual vacation.
I have no complaints about the hotel. It was a very comfortable, relaxing stay, I would return if I was wvwn in the area again! I didn't like the advertisment for this hotel. I was looking for a hotel near IUP, Punxsetawny Campus, and this hotel states its 2 miles from IPU. I booked it then found out it's 2 miles from the main campus!
I didn't like the showerheads
I enjoyed my stay. It was only 1 nite. The room was clean, had all needed amenities. The bkft in the morning was extensive, from cold cereal to hot, to waffles, sausage, bagels, muffins, well, it just had a lot of variey. I don't eat a lot of gluten so my choices were limited, but I did fine. They even had fluit and peanut butter. My room was quiet and the temperature could easily be adjusted to comfort. If I come back to this area again, I will stay here.
Since I wanted to do some hiking in the Basalt area, my main goal was to find the closest hotel. I believe this is the only hotel in Basalt. I didn't want the congestion and prices of Aspen or the distance to Carbondale or Glenwood springs. This location was great. It's right in the center of Basalt and there are restaurants and shops all within a couple of blocks.\nThe positives: The room was neat and clean. It looked recently painted. It was non-smoking and there was no hint of smoke or other odors. The room was quiet - I didn't hear any noise from outside or other rooms. The bath looked newly remodeled and the sink was outside the bathroom - a plus for families. The A/C worked well.\nThe negatives: It is hard to find. The address says it's on CO-82, but it's not and it's not readily visible. Be sure to get directions. I had to ask. Neither my Magellan GPS, nor Mapquest nor Google could find it. The bathtub could use better fixtures, but they worked. The wireless internet was very slow.\nOverall, I had a great stay, 4 good nights of rest, and would stay again.
I wonder why I'm reading about a hotel in Indiana, Pennsylvania, and the reviews attached to it are regarding some hotel in Colorado - and some restaurant that doesn't exist in Indiana, PA???? My husband and I have stayed here, and it's a clean hotel, nice hotel. I think it's overpriced for what you get, however. The coffee is good. The breakfast is the average hotel 'continental breakfast' plus microwaved (previously frozen) items. But there are plenty of good breakfast restaurants in the nearby vicinity.
Clean room + Great Staff = Awesome stay
Location to IUP, breakfast and cleaniness A little pricy, but not many other hotels in the area. So it was worth the price.

Room was nice. Nice breakfast.
location, friendly staff not very clean, slightly overpriced
Very hospitable staff. It's getting a little rough around the edges, though.
Had all the amenities of the more expensive options at half the price.
Rooms were okay, staff is friendly and breakfast was okay Lots of noise. Neighboring room had alarm go off for about 15-20 minutes early in the morning, had to call front desk to turn it off. Was also charged an extra 40 dollars on my credit card because of a billing mix up, still trying to get it resolved after having called twice and being promised a refund. Just stay at a cheaper place, you'll get the same quality of sleep for less.
The shower and sink areas are separated. Having a fridge, microwave, iron & ironing board, and hair dryer are nice to have as standard equipment in the room. The mattress was the worst mattress that I ever slept on in a hotel. The rest of the room was fine. The breakfast was very limited. Poor selection of fruit and no protein to eat. The waffle maker is the best!
Nothing I saw. 2 guys sitting on the ground in a parking space cooking on a portable grill. Dumpster overflowing and gate for dumpster hanging like it was half torn off its hinges. Signs on building all blacked out so you couldn't tell if it was a Comfort Inn or what it was. It looks like it's out of business from the outside. Walked around inside and found the advertised "pool" which was a disintegrated, moldy, hole of cracked concrete with no water. There were cables of some sort strewn across the top of the doorway in one stairwell that looked like they were only tied up with wire. I wasn't sure what was going on, if the building was under construction or closed? I bailed and stayed elsewhere. I contacted Hotels.com, who contacted the hotel, and according to the customer service agent, the hotel wouldn't refund my (prepaid) money. Without any argument from me, Hotels.Com did refund my money however. Thank you Hotels.com for doing the right thing.
