Beautiful room and wonderful hosts, great sail boat ride with each stay. Nothing, everything was amazing!
Friendly, informative staff. Central location to all amenities. Served a great unique breakfast using some local products --included in price. Also included was a harbour cruise on a sailing vessel. Overall wonderful experience. Stairs in Inn were many but that paled in comparison to the view we had from our top floor room.Parking is tight.
Great location, good breakfast and the sail was an unexpected and appreciated addition to our experience.
Great location, great view. The 2 hour sailing tour that is included makes this a ridiculously good deal too
Staff were great and fun... The sail on the Eastern Star was outstanding. Crew were great and very experienced. Breakfast was also great... Great cook. Thanks. Liked it all...
A lovely inn, with great staff. We enjoyed breakfast and the company of the other guests at the family style dining table. The best surprise was when we found out a sail on their sailboat was included in the stay!
We loved the location, the comfort, quaintness, breakfast, staff. It was a very relaxing experience. Along the way we have recommended this property several times. The bonus sail was a wonderful and delightful surprise.
Nice spot but overpriced - hotel is average at best-eat at the SeaShanty in Chester Basin(15min.)
Great Location...great service. I couldn't find an elevator to the upper floors. Perhaps it was there and I just overlooked it.

Upgraded our room as it was not a busy time. Excellent service.
I booked a family party to celebrate 2 important birthdays. I booked weeks in advance online and requested a room with an ocean view and a balcony. I followed up my booking by telephoning the resort to confirm that I had a room with an ocean view and a balcony. When we checked in-you guessed it-no balcony and one tiny window looking over a large gravel deck to the sea beyond. I asked to change rooms and they offered me a room with a balcony but under a restaurant patio with a long obstructed view to the sea-when I said that wasn't any good they offered me a room overlooking a parking lot. I flet they had no intention of offerig me a nice balcony oceanview room although I paid extra for that. Most rooms have a balcony and patio doors so if you get one you may have a nice ocean view. We had to stand at our window to see anything other than the wall of the room.\n\nThe restaurant was nice and the food good but not excellent. The staff at reception were not helpful as I have said. The rooms are in need of serious updating-walls need paint, linens are cheap-ie. nylon bedspreads, and the decor boring. Common rooms were better. With that location they could do so much better. In my opinion it is a 2 star resort the way it is now.
Staff were great! Hotel offered lots for the price. View was amazing!
The food was amazing! Many local ingredients, and especially flavourful! We went to Mahone Bay the next day and spent the day shopping in lovely local shops. We ate at Rebecca's restaurant in Mahone Bay which was also excellent.
Indoor pool. Dinner was delicious. Beautiful scenery. Dated rooms. Ants in room. Outdoor pool liner needs replacing. Swing set was breaking and unsafe.
The food was awesome and just being outside was great! The Hotel was good but we didn't have a fridge in our room, but my friends did!
Among the many things we liked about the Atlantic Sojourner B&B was all the visitor information. Susan and Sebelle are like in-house travel guides. They take pride in knowing all there is to see and do in the Lunenburg area and how to get you there. And they have lots of resources: everything from detailed maps to restaurant menus. When you're new to an area and only have a day or so to work with, that kind of skilled direction matters a lot.
Hosts were warm, friendly and knowledgeable. Great breakfast. Nothing.
Cozy and friendly staff. Comparable to other Victorian Band B expected more for the price Room was small and just didn't have the WOW factor.
The Inn keepers were very friendly and the food was wonderful! Perfect location for walking to local places and perfect location for driving to out of town site to see! The weather was very nice and lobster was in season! Looking forward to a return trip NOPE
Tim Hortons was right across the street and the drive into Lunenburg was short. The hotel REEKED of midew- the mildew was so bad the LAMPSHADE was covered in it. After leaving the hotel all of the clothes that we had out of our suit cases smelled so terrible- unacceptable when travelling and no easy access to laundry facilities.
We were upgraded to a full family suite (basically a small apartment, with a double jacuzzi) because of a booking conflict. It exceeded our expectations! We enjoyed the short walk to downtown and took advantage of the provided barbeque facilities as well.
very friendly, helpful staff. enjoyed sitting out on a lawn chair at the end of the day
