The hotel is boutique, very South Pacific, luxurious and it's located in the heart of the Marlborough wine capital. Welcome to the Quality Hotel Marlborough nestled in sunny Blenheim at the top of the South Island and surrounded by the stunning Marlborough Sounds, Marlborough's supreme wine growing country all this set against the foothills of New Zealand's beautiful alpine chain. The word Pacific conjures up many pictures from its meaning of peacefulness to a reflection of the region and the Quality Hotel Marlborough demonstrates both. This premier Blenheim Hotel features the laid back atmosphere of the Pacific, from its metal Nikau trees lining the entrance, to its Nikau lounge and bar relaxed Pacific style. Maximum of two children 12 years and under stay free with parent/guardian when using existing bedding in the room.
Friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere.
Rooms did not feel private due to poor soundproofing, typical of NZ building standards.
Loved the artwork and the architectural style of the hotel. The restaurant was very good. Staff was very friendly.
10 out of 10 kerry and his team are all very polte warm and friendly. They made my husband and I very welcome.we inadvertantly left some items behind, not only did they contact us but couriered them to us at another hotel
The hotel is well located, within walking distance of the railway and bus station. Room was comfortable and clean, and the bathroom and shower were good.
They charge for internet access.
Room was clean and spacious. Food at the restaurant was very good.
check out time was already at 10 am.
The staff were very friendly& helpful& location was great.Very clean& tidy
rooms werent sound proof enough
For my purpose it was conviently located close to the railroad station and the airport. The staff were pleasant to interact with and helpful when arranging my connection. I expect that much of this had to do with the fact that it was owner-managed.
For reasons I do not understand there are no mixing faucets in the basins.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Restaurant food good and no more expensive than local eateries. Handy to town.
