Clean, modern, secure, well placed for my needs (Norddeich Airport), good breakfast, tea & coffee facilities in room, pleasant and helpful staff, quiet, free wi-fi. Spa facilities. Excellent restaurant (Moewchen) across the road. English was limited but this is a very nice German hotel - all the better though if you speak the language, which one of us did. Parking a bit of a squash if busy, but staff were helpful and we all managed.
The staff was very friendly and very helpful, they give you suggestions what to do and what to see. The hotel is halfway between the city center of Norden and the port city of Norddeich. If you take a room on the street front it can be very noisy. Plus the outside night lighting causes an annoying hum that can be heard in the room (fortunately it is shut off around 23.30).
A pleasant enough functional hotel. Room nice enough with tea and coffee facilities, which is very unusual in Germany! Chap on the desk very helpful. Breakfast not too bad althiough some items slow to be replenished. Popular with cyclists as this region is very flat and very attractive; difficult to tell apart from parts of the Netherlands. Vist Jever! Too far from the centre of the town and required a taxi to go into the town. Very indifferent surroundings indeed. Functional rather than warm interior. If you can stay in Greetsiel instead!
Room, breakfast and staff all very good for what is basically a budget hotel. Lack of carpeting in the room?
Well we were travelling with two kids and had a wonderful time at the hotel . iT is run by a very friendly young couple who always greeted us with cheer . they were very helpful in everything right from the bike rentals to sitting and planning our itinerary. I would recommend this hotel for stay as it offered a nice breakfast and also took care of all the things the guests would need.Everyday it was nice to see the towels dressed up in diff shapes like a dog or an elephant n my kids loved it . overall I must say great stay . . none
The staff at Hotel Reichshof are extraoridinary. The facilities are immaculate and the hotel itself is beautiful.
The room was very clean and had recently been refurbished. Breakfast was included in the price making it a good value.
Signposting to the hotel by road is not very obvious (especially as the hotel is situated in a pedestrian precinct area)
Breakfast was superb, male receptionist very kind, beautiful bedroom, very nice atmosphere We thought it was to expensive, relatively.
Very nice and classy rooms. Great value for money.
Friendly staff, tasty food and overall value for money. Potentially a good base from which to tour the area
The food was very good and the service good Wireless internet connection was not free and I could not connect from my room
Very good food. Excellent location. None
Rooms are comfortable and typical of a German-owned hotel. I arrived late and left early, so cannot comment on many of the services. Breakfast was better than average German cold breakfast buffet. No lift and some rooms are quite a distance from the reception. My room was the furthest away from reception, which meant going up and down 3 flights of stairs to get to it. Not convenient if you have a lot of luggage or if you are older and have trouble with stairs.
the receptionist /waitress was very helpful she put herself out to speak in english and explain the menuto me
The weather was miserable and the hotel is some distance from anywhere, but the staff was very helpful. I arrived on a Sunday evening, the one day the restaurant is closed. Otherwise the stay was fine.
Good room, and the personal could speak english.. Limited correction from the free internet..
We took a short holiday trip and this hotel was perfect. It has a central location too.
Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Easy to find and a good base for exploring the area provided you have your own transport. Good value for money, restaurant served very nice food at a fair price. Breakfast was excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. The location, while easy to find, was not near any town centre so there is little to do in the area unless you have a car to go to nearby Aurich.
