a small , but beautifully decorated hotel. we loved the architecture and the furnishing. the room cleen and spacious walking distance from the city center. the city it self is smal but charming/ as in most of spain the do not speake english
very nice design hotel with excellent service
Lovely hotel in quiet location. Town has fantastic fish restaurants by port & great beaches nearby
Great bed room, perfect bath room, typical spanish Hotel, amazing breakfast inkl. Fresh orange juice, everything what you like. Bad to find, bad direction in the city
This is an excellent hotel in every way - an old building renovated very tastefully. It has a very relaxed atmosphere, and the staff are very helpful. In a quiet street, yet a few minutes' walk from the town. No.
Damp mould in roon, staff didn't speak English, but when in Spain we should speak Spanish so not an issue. Very hard to find hotel
Very pretty little hotel in an old converted building. Very very clean and excellent value for money. Very friendly staff.... got lots of smiles on way in and way out.. didn't take the mickey out of my bad Spanish.
I was very impressed about the hotel. People extremely nice, the house is beautiful and the rooms and bathroom brand new. Very well Iocated and near to good restaurants. I recommend!
Our third visit and it just gets better . Possibly the best tortilla in the world for breakfast Not a thing .
The hotel had clearly had a lot of time and money spent renovating the building and making into a quality hotel. What a pity there isn't a restaurant as based on the quality of breakfast I'm sure the food would be superb. The wooden floors transmitted noise from above and I was awoken by a late night return of the guest in the room above.
La situacion, la limpieza y el personal.
Hotel is located in a lovely old building right in the centre and very close to the cathedral. Immaculately clean and tastefully decorated room which faced an inner courtyard which meant that it was nice and quiet. Highly recommended. No breakfast is available although that's made clear when you book.
Wonderful view over the estuary, friendly staff, convenient parking, a no-hassle visit!
Good location in the centre of town overlooking harbour The lift to the room was along a corridor and up several steps so not suitable for people who cannot climb stairs to get to the lift
we were happy with the location on the edge of town and everything was at hand.
Room was spacious and comfortable. Huge bathroom with double sinks a plus. Great view of the river, nice terrace. Food in the restaurant was excellent.
The staff were helpful, kind and attentive. The hotel and food were a good standard.
The balcony and the view to the river. Salads in the bar were excellent
position and views, quietness, very polite and helpful staff, well appointed in an understated manner not well signed from the railway station
Wow! What a beautiful hotel with a great view from our 2nd. floor room overlooking the estuary of the Rio Eo. Can't understand why this is not more than a three star. No emergency instructions shown in room or anywhere else that we could find. We did not eat here so cannot comment on the catering standards.
Very friendly staff - clean, comfortable bedroom - excellent restaurant with english speaking head waiter and a good menu - recommended.
the views, the size and quality of the room, and the staffs hospitality
Very neat and clean, very quiet large room, close to center of town.
This was a brand new hotel...everything was in perfect condition, very clean and comfortable...staff eager to please...we had a view off the small balcony of the water and scene across the bay. Very lovely It was a little difficult to find at first. Perhaps we came in from the wrong direction.
Visited the local area and toured local places of interest
Very nice. Seemed like a 4 star hotel at least. Staff was super helpful/friendly. Room was great and the view also. Breakfast was excellent. Near the city center but on a very quiet street. Would of liked eggs or cheese with breakfast.
Quiet setting, spaceous room, excellent value and very friendly service at breakfast although no English spoken (but that applied to the tourist office also).
The interior of the hotel is designed in modern, and yet clasical style. The signs directing to the hotel were helpful. The free parking of the hotel.
Really nice hotel, with a good location to the town and local beaches. great value for money with a lovely breakfast. There was building work being carried out so couldn't really use the pool without being overlooked by work men.
Excelent hotel, very obliging. We arrived at about 1530 and once we were settled in went down to reception at 1625 to enquire about a table for dinner only to be told not before 2100. Too late for us but the dining room closed for lunch at 1630 and they did us a slap up meal for 6 of us at a very reasonable cost. The Spa also was excellent no
The location of the hotel makes it a good spot for people with their own transport to be based. The hotel is not geared up for English visitors. Its location is neither here nor there - too far from the town or the seaside if you do not have a car.
An excellent buffet meal
The hotel is not in Navia. It is located in an industrial estate some 3 miles outside town. The hotel caters for weddings and functions and has a disco inside. Regrettably the disco was under our room. We were unable to sleep. To be fair the manager moved us to another room at midnight. Luckily another room was available.
Location near Luarca
Nothing Not enough parking, room smellled terrible, no airconditing, room needs an extreme update, bed was to small etc. Never ever again. Worst experience during our stay in Spain.
generally a very pleasant hotel with goood location and comfortable rooms. the town tself which could be wonderful but isn't- there is nothing for a tourist (or one suspects locals).
We loved the hotel facilities, staff and especially our room (apartment) because we were 4 adults traveling together and this was very comfortable for us. It had a kitchen and a very convinient supermarket in front of the hotel so we could shop and cook upstairs. The hotel is located in the center of the city and very convinient for long walks to dine out and shop.
Efficient and warm welcome. Immediate action was taken to deal with a small problem, and staff went out of their way to try and help us with a particular need. Central position in the town.
Good value in restaurant. Good appearance. Excellent dinner waitress Noise level excessive from disco across road. Bed too hard
Convenient compared to alternatives in the region. Even though we asked for a non smoking room, got a room with a great smell black tobacco - laws for smoking in public spaces should be revised. The room had sofa in terrible condition – old and non clean at all – it should be changed
Big and comfortable rooms in a nice and cosy Asturian village. The staff did not know what exactly to charge us! (we booked only for the acommodation).
Nada
Modern, clean. Very helpful and friendly owner/manager. Close to centre of town and waterfront. Very good breakfast - inclusive. Quite difficult to find, down a side street near main square.
Nothing really. If you are smart enough go to some other place. Food is poor, location is bad and rooms are small
Our room was comfortable and very clean. This feels more like a luxury B&B than a hotel.
Isabel (manager) spoke english and made us feel very welcome. She was knowledgeable about the area, was always smiling and friendly. Definite "home away from home". Beautiful garden, lovely rooms and great bathrooms - olive based shampoos & body lotions. What a treat! Standard rooms offered showers whilst the suites had a shower in the jacuzzi/spa bath. Beautiful wooden furniture in the rooms The TV in the breakfast room. This was a little out of place in a great guest house!
In general our experience with the rural hotels during our trip is that the ratio Quality/price is not correct. Furthermore guests may speak English, French and German but at most of the rural hotels Spanish, drawing and body language are the only tools for communication. At breakfast the residues of the former day(s) pop up.
The warm welcome and the remote tranquil setting.
Comfortable and warm. Tastefully renovated 2 years ago. Would have been nice to have had dinner on 1 of our 2 nights
