Pros: We will always fondly remember our stay in this beautiful Palacio de Prelo. The Palacio is not far from Boal and is in a beautiful rural setting in the small hamlet of Prelo. Alicia and Antonio are generous and warm hosts. The Palace is stunning, centuries old and superbly maintained and decorated. We had a delicious 3 course dinner with wines that was cooked by Alicia which added to the whole experience. Breakfast too was amazing, lots on offer to cater for all.
Pros: A very good stay in a clean and amplios accommodation, and very friendly hosts. The food they prepared was excellent as was the wine. Peter and Aviva
Pros: The hosts Alicia and Antonio were very helpful and went out their way to help us. They helped me with the luggage. Breakfast was outstanding. Lots of choices. It was the most peaceful place we have ever stayed.
Cons: There was nothing we didn't like.
Pros: Beautiful restoration of old manor, very secluded and peaceful
Pros: Great host Antonio and his wife Elise she is a wonderful cook. The view from balcony is just wonderful and the serenity is amazing.
Pros: Very strange host who won't give you a front door key and phones you in the bar to see why your so late. Spooky
Cons: Not having a front door key

Pros: If you enjoy horses and every animal possible in the country farm this is the place to go. With belavistas around the property comands the whole hill. Everything was true, sincere, homemade, tasty, decent. A winding approach road was a pleasant distraction from the monotonous motorway driving despite my other half screaming - so be carefull after dusk when fog cover the valleys.
Cons: A nitpicking person could find something but not me.
Pros: Myself and my son were initially attracted my the photos of the kid goats, and the idea of being away from everything in the mountains. What we didn't expect was how my son (age 10) would feel like an adopted member of the family for the five days we spent there, and it is no exaggeration to say that we watched visibly him grow in confidence during those days. It's certainly not a requirement of staying there for kids to help out, but I have to say for anyone with children who wish to learn about farm life and for parents who are happy to go along too, it is a fantastic experience. All the family were wonderful with my son, gave him jobs and responsibilities on the farm according to what he felt able for, taught him (and us) so many things, and it was the absolute highlight of our three weeks in northern Spain. My son was always a bit wary of dogs before but all the dogs on this farm are well trained and behaved and he was so sad to leave them behind when we went. We slept very well every night, so quiet and peaceful. And we ate very well too! The dinners were delicious. We will definitely return in a few months.

Pros: The room and the bathroom were clean, the staff friendly (even though the communication in English was not possible), there was a possibility to have the motorcycle under the roof - which was perfect because it rained during the night. The price was totally worth it (maybe except breakfast).
Cons: It was a bot noisy (I think carpets in the corridor would help a lot) and the breakfast quite poor but otherwise really fine.
