Pros: Our one night stay at Casa Breeze was in celebration of our 45th anniversary. Such an excellent choice ! The location was stunning. We were greeted by Stan and Sue with a cold beer and glass of wine. Our hosts were very fine people. Sue's breakfast was scrumptious. We enjoyed time in the hot tub. This is an example of thoughtful hosts...there were step stools to get up into the high beds!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was very good. The property is beautiful outside and inside as well. We had our own bathroom but it wasn't directly connected to our bedroom and that was the only slightly negative thing I can think of, and it really wasn't a big deal. The hosts are very friendly and we would definitely stay here again. We were only there for 1 night but wish it could have been longer.

Pros: Every breakfast served during our 4 day stay was excellent, tasty and nutritious. There was always plenty of various choices to accommodate different tastes (fruits, dairy, eggs, cereals, etc.). We were served like royalty! The location was perfect for our visit in St Andrews by the Sea. The house was spacious, quiet and serene. Every room is decorated with exceptional taste without compromising on comfort.
Cons: I was afraid of the dogs when they barked at us when we first arrived... but that's what dogs do and truly, they were very nice with us afterwards.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our hosts, Susan and Stan, could not have been kinder. We stayed only one night, but they accommodated our need to arrive late and cooked us the BEST breakfast of our entire vacation. We would have loved to have stayed longer. Their property is gorgeous and they do the utmost to make you feel welcome.

Pros: Breakfast was delicious, and we loved meeting some of the other guests at the table. The gardens are beautiful, and all of the facilities are tastefully and conveniently set up for the guests. But the best part was our hosts, Stan and Susan, who are simply wonderful, hospitable hosts. The gave us a warm welcome and an excellent recommendation for dinner in town.
Cons: Nothing could have been improved.

Pros: This was a huge surprise. We were trying to find a place to stay on our drive up to PEI that was close to the border. We were looking the night before we left and this popped up. Totally exceeded our expectations.
Cons: The only quibble is that the beds were hard as a rock. But, I'm a bit of a princess when it comes to mattresses, so if you like them on the firm side, you're probably fine. Other than that - we were exceedingly pleased.

Pros: We were upgraded to a king room and even though we arrived 5 mins too late for breakfast they accommodated us which was really appreciated.
Cons: It is pricey especially in off season but we decided to splurge for a night and it did not disappoint The only thing disappointing was that we would have liked the bar to have remained open past 11:00. It would have been nice to have it open until 12:00
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is a few blocks from the water atop a hill with a view of the town. It is lovely. I think the best part of our stay was our interaction with the staff. Everyone went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. And, I do love a man in a kilt and there were several!
Cons: It was honestly more expensive than I think it deserves to be given the quality. Don't get me wrong, it is nice. But it's not THAT nice! I also thought the room was a little dated. It could have used a few modernizing touches.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: It was a beautiful setting and grounds, friendly and knowledgeable staff, gorgeous little town.
Cons: I think for the price, it should have include a breakfast.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location was great Restaurant dinner was very nice Breakfast buffet had a nice selection (not warm enough however)
Cons: Price was not as per reservation quote, extras were added without authorization. We had the bill revised so that it was $701+, (only $2 more than the original quote of $699). Shocked to see the bank’s pending charge of $885.95. We were assured that this is not the actual fee... that the hotel authorizes an extra $75 per night for incidentals but “it won’t be charged”. Since this only occurred today, I’ll await the results. Guaranteed registration at 4 pm but room was not ready until 50 minutes later. There was a pair of men’s swim shorts hanging on the bathroom door, we assume were left by the previous guest. The drinking glasses we used on day one were not changed out on day two. The ice bucket smelled sour, and had no disposable plastic bag. We didn’t use it!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location.
7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast was very good. One day we went off the menu, which was good. The rest of the time we had the buffet, which was excellent.
Cons: The staff were all very personable. There were times that waiters were not well organized.

Pros: Alex and Wanda, the two owners of the Harbour Tide Inn are great hosts! We felt welcome right from the first moment. The parking is in front of the house where Alex greeted us after our arrival. Our room was spacious, clean and very nicely decorated. In our case the room also had a private bathroom. All amenities, like shampoo, soap etc. were supplied. We slept very good and woke up to an awesome full breakfast that Wanda prepared for us. We will hopefully be back again!
Cons: There is really nothing that we could complain about and if there had been anything I am sure that the owners would have made every effort to solve any issue.

Cons: What's not to like? Everything was 5 stars all the way.

Pros: The bed was comfortable and breakfast exceptional....location very nice and I enjoyed seeing the interior of the lovely old house. Our host was very hospitable and we enjoyed our lengthy conversation with him and he also cooked our breakfast! Was very interesting to talk with due to German birth, as was my partner, and as well that he and family had lived for several years in Nakusp, BC which is only about 150 kms from our city in Trail, BC
Cons: Absolutely nothing! Well, possibly better signage!! Also, I believe the ad stated the facility was very close to St. Andrews but we did not find this to be accurate.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Anke was very nice and helpful. She text me the direction to the ferry and time of departures. She was at the Inn as soon as we arrived. She even inquired if we had dinner already. The breakfast was very good.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beautifully appointed. Gorgeous home and grounds. Just what we look forward to in a B&B. Excellent breakfast served with a touch of old world elegance. Wonderful, well informed, helpful hostess who happens to also be a fascinating person!
Cons: Caution if you have a bad back. My husband woke up with discomfort from the mattress. It was too soft for his back.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Healthy breakfast & generous servings. I also had the home-cooked meal the night of my arrival. Wienerschnitzel! and assorted roasted veg & potatoes. Delicious
Cons: No alcohol is served or available on the island.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely old home. Deer island is a place to wind down. I suggest that you have dinner at the inn. Good homecooking. I tried the take away and it was not great, and cost the same as a good homecooked meal. Breakfast was very good with a homemade quiche.
Cons: All was good

7.5 Good
Pros: Very friendly desk clerk, large room. I’m pretty sure the listing said two full size beds, but one was a twin - not a problem for the two of us, but might have been for a family.
Cons: Thin walls, loud neighbors. The shower whistles when water is running. Room was quite close to the road.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a last minute booking that was handled easy and simpley got a large quite clean room.
Cons: Nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Staff above and beyond to accomadate
9.0 Excellent
Pros: This was a quiet hotel with basic amenities. Comfortable, very clean, very spacious rooms ... but not lavish. A nice stay with a decent diner type restaurant next door.
Cons: The hotel was fine ... nothing to do in St. George. So this should just be considered for weary travelers looking for a good nights sleep.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: I slept well and comfortably in bed.
Cons: My wife didn't care for the bed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room is extremely large with two large double beds. The TV is high definition and very clear. The Wi-Fi is good.
Cons: There is no key-drop near the office.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff super friendly. Gave good tourist information. Asked if we needed anything. Rooms are very clean and spacious.
Cons: The bed comfy enough but too soft. No full view mirrors and no desk chair.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We didn't have a breakfast but the location was wonderful. Exactly where I needed to be.
Cons: I was told that I could stay in the room until 3PM because I had explained that I'm not from there and my drive wasn't coming until 4! They agreed but they had booked the room the next morning for that night.... and claimed that the people that were taking the room were checking in at 2.. they didn't even clean the room until 1pm and the people didn't get there until 3:30! Which means I had to sit outside from 11-4. Wasn't happy about that.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The Motel is very cute and clean. The restaurant next door is excellent!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The people that ran the motel were amazing . They had a tv in the room I wish I had in my house . The restaurant , the birchgrove , next to motel had the most amazing seafood for a great price and burgers to die for . Would definitely stay again if in the area .
Cons: The shower head wasn't work too well but is more a minor maintenance thing . All else was good as far as the motel facilities go .
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Clean. Friendly. Food on site.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfy beds, good location, easy breakfast with lots of choices and friendly staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Bed was extremely comfortable...foam mattress was so nice. Desk clerks , night and morning, were very helpful and friendly. I like how the motel is off the beaten path and very quiet.
Cons: Water pressure could be stronger in bathroom.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super friendly staff and very clean and comfortable. We have stayed before and will stay again.
7.5 Good
Pros: Room was very spacious & inviting. Aesthetically pleasing decor.
Cons: Google map directions ended you in the middle of nowhere. Hotel was about a half mile further than Google maps directions.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great holiday, easy to access, lots of space and very friendly staff. The rooms were a good size, lovely soft beds (we slept so well!), the breakfast was perfect with everything we wanted (even tea!). We used it as a stop off, which most people did as well. They are geared up for that and were quick, friendly and efficient. Definitely worth staying at and we will be back.
7.0 Good
Pros: It was easy to find and was in the right spot for our stop for the night.
Cons: It was overpriced for what we got. Nothing really stood out. Just a regular hotel with continental breakfast. I thought it was an older Inn so was somewhat disappointed.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Near pub meal. Interesting graveyard nearby. Good ice cream cone at Pete’s.
Cons: Breakfast fair at Hotel. service at Pub on Main very poor... long wait for food to arrive. Minimal concern for customer but quality of food good.
6.3 Good
Pros: The beds were awesome we stayed on the main floor. The location was very convenient and easy to find once you got off the highway. Decent continental breakfast. Parking is close to the hotel entrance.
Cons: The air conditioner was so loud we couldn't use it and it was so hot. So we did not sleep very well. If you can’t sleep then what is the point in staying at a hotel. The guests checking out in front of us had the same complaints in their room. I would also mention that updating the rooms would be nice as it feels like the rooms are in the 80s. Even nice duvets would make a difference because the beds are very comfortable.
7.5 Good
Pros: The room was above average and very clean. I found all the staff with this one exception to be helpful and willing to provide suggestions for places to dine and things to see.
Cons: My wife broke her rib falling getting into the bath tub. There were no anti slip mats to be seen, so she assumed that the tub was the same as home with an anti slip surface built into the tub. I mentioned at the front desk this morning that this has happened and the clerk implied that the problem was with my wife not searching for a safety mat. She is a woman of 70 years and these injuries take along time to heal. I am very put off by the lack of concern for her wellbeing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The grounds were beautiful and the rooms were spacious and very clean.
Cons: The decor was a outdated, but it’s what’s also gave the hotel character
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location and friendly staff. Bed ok.
Cons: Basic accommodation. TV still small tube.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Convenient, modern, clean, great breakfast and area....pets allowed!
Cons: Very noisy compressor/pump in ac unit. Hopefully changed out by now or upgraded.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: You can select your preferred breakfast and it was tasty! Quiet neighborhood, comfy bed, very friendly.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful and very welcoming. House is lovely. Breakfast is delicious and made fresh/served hot. Owners really love having a B&b and it shows. The open coffee/tea area is a great touch. Rooms are beautiful and bright, very comfortable.
Cons: This is really picky and doesn’t take away from how much I liked this place. There are some minor repairs that need to happen like peeling wall paper, paint touch ups etc. We had the twin room and I slept like a baby. The shower is funky and hard to figure out, the nozzle is pointed right at the doors and water went everywhere while trying to figure out how to set the temp.
7.5 Good
Pros: Amazing crepes for breakfast!

Cons: Room was oddly laid out. No cozy perks e.g. upscale linens, speciality soaps & shampoo etc.hallway was dark & dingy.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very well located. Bed was very comfortable.
Cons: The main focus of this establishment is the restaurant. The hotel guests seemed to be just an extra thing that the staff had to take care of. The place just needs some updating.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel right on the gorgeous main street could not have been in a better location. The room surpassed our expectations - we paid for a room but got a two bathroom suite! The furnishings matched the 'antique feel' of the entire hotel. There is a lovely dining room and the tables on the veranda were an excellent space to enjoy great food AND enjoy people watching! There is also a small pub and casino room. The staff were friendly and always eager to please - a big thank you to Devon for all his kindness! I will always remember this hotel and will recommend it to everyone planning to visit St. Andrews by the Sea.
Cons: Does not serve breakfast BUT we were told by the staff to try Lumberjacks right down the street - had the best omelette ever! No complaints or recommendations for this hotel - they are doing it RIGHT!

Pros: We stayed in the first floor room with twin beds. Very comfortable, quiet and spacious, with a beautiful newly remodeled private bath. We arrived ahead of check-in time, as a thunder and lightening storm just began. Our hosts graciously invited us in to have tea, despite the room not being ready. This beautiful historic house has been painstakingly restored, with additional projects in the planning. Conveniently close to the central business district, Minister's Island, Kingsbrae Gardens, and the amazing restaurant at Rossmount.

Pros: The cottage is newly renovated and beautifully decorated with antiques. The room was beautiful and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Most of all, though, the gentleman operating the cottage and providing breakfast was very hospitable and accommodating of our needs and was charming and filled with good humour. He makes the place very special.

Pros: Great location if you didn't mind being across the street from the very large Algonquin resort ( we didn't), charming decor, enthusiastic host.
Cons: A couple of glitches like light coming in under our bedroom doorstep night. It's a renovated home so there was ambient noise from other guests. Could have been a problem with very noisy or up late guests.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location,tub,staff
Cons: Would of liked big chair in room
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Cottage is an intimate space where you feel as though you are in your own home except you are taken care of by someone else. In our case it was Eleanor who was wonderfully accommodating to our every need and very helpful with recommendations for the rest of our trip.
Cons: The bathroom with our particular room was small.
