Pros: Natural swiming lake and ruin of the Gothic Church
Cons: Breakfast was really bad
Pros: The property is newly renovated and in an excellent position within a three minute walk from the Abbey of San Galgano. Clean and confortable with excellent finishing. Dogs are accepted. The property has a restaurant and a cafe with a nice garden where you can chill with a Spritz or a sundowner. No snacks are offered with your Spritz. Breakfast is decent. A typical continental breakfast with the classical salami, ham and cheese. The pastries are good. I liked the property a lot and e recommend it.
Cons: The restaurant is very nice. The staff members are friendly and efficient. I did not like the fact that there were too many flies which made things uncomfortable at dinner and breakfast. The food is average. A little more care should be taken with the traditional Tuscan dishes. The bread in Tuscany is fantastic but they serve a very poor bread. Disappointing. The apartment has a well organised and has a wonderful fully equipped kitchen but unless you bring your own supplies, they do not even offer anything to make yourself a cup of tea or coffee in case you feel sick during the night. There is no minibar so you need to organise your own water. But I suppose we could have enquired about this. Excluding these little details, the property is really wonderful.
Pros: Convenient location comfortable rooms. Staff were excellent and went over and beyond to help us.
Pros: Breathtaking view of the abbey from the restaurant
Pros: The breakfast was fnatastic with wonderful bread, pastries, and an assortment of delicious juices. The location was convenient from Siena!
Pros: I liked everything. The restaurant was also excellent
Pros: It was amazing being able to stay so close to the San Galgano Abbey, we were able to relax in the countryside and see the sunset and rise there. It was so romantic. The staff was great and accommodating.
Set in Montieri, 46 km from Grosseto, Il Poggiolo offers a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and free WiFi. There is a fully equipped private bathroom with bidet and free toiletries. The farm stay offers a continental or Italian breakfast. Guests can also relax in the garden or in the shared lounge area. The nearest airport is Florence Airport, 117 km from Il Poggiolo.
Pros: A great and peaceful place to stay for a few days, centrally located at the cross-roads of some of Maremma's landmarks. Ideal to combine sightseeing of villages, rest/sports at beaches and culinary highlights. Car is indispensable. Massa Marittima is at 15 mins by car, Follenica at 35 mins, Grosseto at 1 hour. Just at the bottom of the driveway (3 mins walk) are an osteria, a pizzeria and a bar. Most importantly though, host Cinzia is a gem, she cares for her guests as if it was her family members (maybe even better), most products at breakfast are home-grown and/or home-made. Yummy !
Cons: Would have wanted to stay longer and also enjoy the swimming pool.
Pros: The host is very friendly, speaks real good English and she even waited for us when we came after 9 p.m. Be careful not to drive into Montieri, the little village is on the road to Massa. It's easy to find, the family makes a living from farming, which we appreciate a lot. The rooms are very clean and there is an awesome swimming pool, which we would have liked to use. Staying only one night made it impossible though. Breakfast was prepared with a lot of love, fruit and self-made jam, we got more than in other locations.
Pros: An away from it all getaway. If you book it, you know that this is a 'proper' agriturismo - the owners keep the property spotless, much of the breakfast is home made and home grown, and used by lots of Italian families who clearly keep on coming back. Sinzia is a great host and her family are very friendly and really make an effort. If you google earth it, you'll know there are two eateries at the bottom of the drive, otherwise a car is needed. 45 minutes to the beach!
Cons: Tv in camera

Pros: It is a wonderful and peaceful place! Antonello gave us such good information on what to do and what so see nearby, it was perfect! He and his wife are really friendly and helpful people. And it was the first time I had a really good breakfast in italy! Thank you very much for this nice stay!
Pros: Extremely helpful staff. We had the whole apartment to ourselves with great facilities. Beautiful setting and we really enjoyed our stay.
Pros: The position, and the apartament was just great
Cons: Very few indeed. May be the kitchen might be somehow more equipped, as compared with ather locations in the area. But it is just a matter of details, and by the way, it is consistent with the environmental friendly attitute of the owners, which I appreciate very much.
Pros: It was great experience being there. Great host, perfect location and property
Pros: The owners were extremely helpful and warm. We wanted to trek and they advised on local walking routes (also made sure that we had a suitable map). Breakfast was amazing, we got to try home-made jams, bread and cake. The location is beautiful and peaceful.
Pros: Our fantastic host Antonello was truly passionate about the region and it was infectious. The accommodation was amazing - beautiful view from our huge room was icing on the cake. We can’t say enough about our experience with another taste of Tuscany.
Pros: Everythink was perfect!
Pros: A very pleasant stay. Really welcoming and warm host. A great Italian Breakfast with homemade Marmelade. A perfect spot for visiting the surrounding and make some hiking trips. Fluent German speaking which made our stay really easy. Thanks for three great days.
Pros: Everything fine. Clean, quiet, convenient, friendly hostess.
Pros: The B&B is inside a beautiful and very well kept building, surrounded by an environment of outstanding beauty. It is just outside the beautiful village of Montecerboli, at a 4 minutes drive from Larderello: very convenient for those who wish to visit the wonderful land of geotermic power. Roberta, the owner, is the most kind and welcoming host possible, happy to provide suggestions, touristic guides, local history tales, and willing to provide supplementary services if asked (she prepared our box lunches for the day of departure!!!). The rooms are large, comfy, cristal clean. Breakfast was very good, served in a nice and cozy room, with the happy chatting of Roberta to keep the mood up! From now on, Belcanto B&B will be my home in Larderello, where I return as often as I can. Absolutely recommended!
Pros: Cozy room, wonderful service, bathroom was really clean and wonderful to use.

When you stay at Agriturismo L'Imposto in Pomarance, you'll be within the vicinity of Museum of Geothermal Energy.
Pros: Just out of Pomerance in a beautiful elevated rural setting. Friendly family owners. Very comfortable apartment.
Cons: The grounds were a little neglected.
Pros: Great location, stunning views, very clean pool and friendly owners. This is a perfect place when you want to rest and explore Tuscany - you can go everyday to a different place like Volterra, Siena, San Gimignano or to the beach. Very quiet location with perfect views on beautiful hills. Rooms are simple, but there is all you need. Apartments have a separate entrance (at least those two by the pool) - so privacy is guaranteed. In the little town nearby- Pomarance- every week on Wednesdays (in the season) - there is a music, art and street food festival - really worth visiting.
Cons: The only things which were annoying for me were flies (a net in door would help!) and a very uncomfortable (for sleeping) sofa. A bit more clean bathrooms could also increase general impression.
Pros: Everything was great. The countryside surrounding the farm is wonderful, the rooms are great and it is close to many wonderful tourist sites and towns. Completely satisfied.
Cons: Everything was great
Pros: Friendly welcome and very comfortable room. Overlooking Tuscany hills and farms utterly charming. It is full self catering with the option of meals if you ask the owners.

Pros: Spacious apartment. Very nice owners of this place. And dinner is wonderful. Tasty and the best value for the money.
Pros: Very nice and large romantic apartment fully equipped, with terrace. Everything was clean and there were lots of little details which made it nice to stay in. Breakfast is served in near-by house - Podere Bellaria (cca 5 min. pleasant walk) . Big garden with nice views at surround an also pool (unfortunately the water was dirty and green, so we couldn´t enjoy it although the weather was hot). But the views and beauty of the property was amazing. To the nearers town (Pomarance) is cca 15 minute walk away.
Cons: Limited breakfast choice (mostly sweet food), but the home made cakes were tasty. WIFI was out of order almost all the time and despide our complaining nobody tried sort out the problem.

The property is very clean and well cared of by the owners. The breakfast included everything we wanted and we couldn't tell what else we needed. The rooms are large and well equipped. This silent place is perfect to relax and enjoy the atmosphere of Tuscany. Le Valli is really to be recommended. We will certainly try to come back.

Pros: Excellent accommodation!!! The place is unique !! The owners of the house are really warm and charming !! They give you the most excellent service. Me and my friends recommend the place in every way.
Pros: Great location, in a Tuscan valley, marvelous view and sunset. Like a Tuscany painting. Good swimming pool, and also we loved the garden very much. There was al lot of space. Whether you would like to be in the shadow or sun. Beautiful garden and very nice owners. We want to go back!

Pros: The apartment is in the old house that gives you the feeling of the old Tuscany. In front of the entrance there is terrace where we have enjoyed our breakfast and dinner. The place is very calm and silent, on nice position for visiting various villages and towns (we have visited Siena, San Gimignano, Monteriggioni, Florence, Populonia...). And once you return from all those places, there is hammock in the yard, so you can just take a book, lay there and enjoy. Also, it is good to mention, that not too far away is Follonica, where one can take a swim, before going back to the tranquility. Borgo is definitely the place where I will return. Mille grazie Marilu'!

Pros: Great setting if it is what you are looking for. Staff were super nice.
Cons: Restaurant and breakfast were not so good. Really is too expensive for what it is.
Pros: This thime my and my friend stay there was verry relaxing. That was what we was looking for . The naiborhood is werry beutiful,
Cons: Wify could be better.
Pros: Horse riding was good
Cons: The food was not great, accommodation was a little dated and few facilities in the local town/ village
Pros: Breakfast was excellent with as much as you could eat. The hotel restaurant was excellent with good wholesome food and value for money meals.
Cons: My hotel room was situated in an annex to the hotel which was not mentioned in the booking info. The hotel room had a strong smell of smoking or something like that. After two days airing with the window open or else I got used to it, things improved somewhat. The steps down into the hotel room annex need illuminated for safe access at night. There was a steep climb to the main hotel area each night and the path was uncovered. The WIFI connection although advertised as available throughout all the hotel was not available in my room.

Pros: The property has an intriguing history which the owners will share with the guests. Interesting grounds and things to learn about the farm and house. They also offer cooking classes on week days.
Pros: Amazing location Beautiful surroundings Beautiful medieval castle Stunning nature Peaceful and relaxing atmosphere
Cons: Extremely uncomfortable bed Their staff is not paid, they are interns. So service is far from good... Breakfast is very poor It’s not really clean
Pros: Beautiful setting, amazing views, peace and quiet, swimming pool. Great location for exploring Tuscany.
Cons: Although the cottage had a lot of character and charm some simple facilities need to be updated. For example, live power sockets hanging off the walls, broken lamps and unclean kitchen utensils. During our stay the well which supplies water to the property was very low and so we were provided with some bottled water. On our final day however there was no running water at all and no warning or communication was provided.
Pros: The place and the nature is really great. You feel like you are in the middle of nowhere in the best way. Surrounded by the silence and history.
Cons: If you are wine lover then take wine with as the variety of wines is small and maybe not the best :). One red and one rose. No white wine etc. Dinner was okey but in the local restaurant you can have better choice for 25€/person. The price and the quality of food was overprized.
Pros: the place is enchanting. There is no other possible definition. It is a large estate, with several antique buildings, a main mansion and several smaller country houses. We stayed in the "Casetta" a fairy tale little villa with three rooms placed at 1.8 km from the mansion, away from the world, surrounded by fields and trees. The furniture is country styled, and facilities are somewhat simple, but the magic of the place is incredible. Further, there is a swimming pool near the mansion and the restaurant, serving simple but healty and tasteful dishes and excellent wine. A dream of a place, a place to dream of.
Pros: Absolutely wonderful location if you want to come away from stress. Perfect place for hiking as there is several tracks to choose from. Wonderful old building to stay in. We definitely want to go back!
Cons: According to the pool rules you need to wear a swimming cap in the pool. Good in one way but the teenagers traveling with us did awfully stupid in them. The dinners was tasteful and well cooked but a little bit over our budget.

Pros: It is located in a very quiet place and the swimming pool is perfect for these summer days.
Cons: It lacks a bit in cleanliness. You have to ask for EVERYTHING if you want to cook in the house. Beds aren't the most comfortable in the world. Be carefull with mosquitoes!
