Pros: Everything!! What an amazing B&B. The best we have ever stayed at. Bridget puts so much effort in to making sure we are well looked after. The breakfasts are different every day with lots of wonderful touches and lots of homemade cooking/conserves. Would definitely stay again . Thank you for such a lovely stay.
Pros: Everything was perfect, from location to staff and cleanness. Very helpful owner, Brigitte and her staff, tried to make us feel very comfortable and help us to see many lovely surroundings. Breakfast was amazing. Garden was a paradise. Plenty to see around, a beautiful part of the world. A definite must see in your itinerary. A big thank you to Joan who woke up at 6 am to make us breakfast and to look after us.
Pros: Great breakfast nice pool
Cons: Thought we had booked s room in the hotel but got s little wooden hut in the garden. It was quite small and rather hot.
Pros: Beautiful gardens and interesting decor, helpful and charming hosts. Just as it says in the other reviews. Sending gratitude to Marc and partner for creating such beauty and making it available to us.
Cons: We visited in an unusually hot August, and the house design could not cope. The four rooms are all in the roof. Ours had one Velux low in the roof, and no other windows, so very hot air collected above. The electric fan helped, but the temperature was still unacceptable on entry to the room and on the first night. Traditional houses would have windows and shutters to cope with this kind of weather. In a storm, the rain beats loudly on the Velux, which has to be nearly closed to keep out the water. But nevertheless the place is so lovely in all other respects, that we forgive this problem, and highly recommend it.
Pros: Our host and hostess were exceptionally warm and friendly We had a lovely room and our breakfast were delicious with home prepared food and local delicacies
Cons: There was nothing that we would have changed. We found the position very good and the garden was very welcoming Our hostess made restaurant bookings that were all first class.
Pros: Very tranquil and relaxing surroundings. Brigitte and her team were very welcoming. Amazing healthy breakfasts and fresh fruit from the garden. Swimming pool was perfect.

Pros: This was an amazing place and the staff were incredibly accommodating.
Pros: Calm and relaxing
Cons: Michelin restaurant food was slightly below par.
Pros: The views were spectacular and the grounds immaculately maintained.
Cons: There was nothing to dislike
Pros: Location and place of the chateau + Staff availability + Restaurant quality
Pros: Beautiful location but a bit far and difficult to find. Beautiful view from room
Pros: An historical castle dated back to the 13th century. It has an amazing view over the Lot river and vineyard below. It feels like being in a fairy tale castle. This is a Relais & Chateau property so you can expect nothing but the best experience by staying here.
Situated in a rural location, this bed & breakfast is within 12 mi (20 km) of Phosphatiere du Cloup d'Aural, Cahors Cathedral, and Chateau de Cenevieres. Les Docks and Pont Valentre are also within 12 mi (20 km).
Pros: We had a really lovely stay in a very nicely furnished room; thick stone walls meant the temperature stayed comfortable. The breakfasts were exceptional with a different delicious homemade dish every day and high quality regional produce; the best breakfasts we've had anywhere in France and Dominique kindly gave my wife her family recipe for crepes. We enjoyed chatting to the other guests over the breakfast table in the oak panelled dining room. Michel was very kind providing information and advice about places to visit each day. There were plenty of places to sit and relax or eat a picnic around the property. Fresh fruit was provided in our room. The location is in the heart of the Lot countryside and completely tranquil. We are grateful to Dominique and Michel for their thoughtful hospitality and very much hope visit again.
Cons: No problems at all.
Pros: The owners was kindly. Breakfast was excellent, more than expected.
Pros: The breakfasts were all excellent-well presented, fresh, home-made jams and local produce used. The host was very helpful and gave excellent recommendations for particular interests. The location was quiet and very rural and we enjoyed sitting out under the trees in the evening. The ‘kitchen’ provided a microwave and fridge -just enough for self-catering dinners.
Cons: The time that we were there was early autumn coming out of a hot summer. However, we felt more could be done in the grounds to achieve a quality of presentation.
Pros: The location was good. That was the only positive about the property.
Cons: Another B&B where the owners have done a half-baked job of renovating an old property and want to live the lifestyle and collect rent checks. We booked for three nights and stayed for one. There was a family stone martens living in the room's ceiling, gnawing at the wood and banging around all night. After a sleepless night we told the owner about this. He was perfectly aware of the situation and said he would put a lamp inside the ceiling so that they would go away. This is a fire hasard. So between the wild animals above our heads and the risk of being caught in a fire we decided to leave. He refused to reimburse us for the nights we did not stay.
Pros: Owners were excellent hosts and did their best to make our stay as comfortable as possible, up to the smallest details. Very nice room with great shower and comfortable beds. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Owners were very helpful with all the questions we had from restaurant suggestions to local walking routes. I can highly recommend Les Vitarelles!

Cons: nothing, cannot rate breakfast as we did not take it at the property we were always so full after the dinner the night before! But that is not a negative
Pros: Great restaurant - typical of the better Logis de France
Cons: The breakfast room was too warm
Pros: A lovely family-run hotel. The meal was superb.
Pros: Lovely old Chateau surrounded by vineyards, friendly family business, peaceful
Cons: In shoulder season (late Sept) we found that there weren’t that many local restaurants and other amenities open nearby
Pros: Typically French, very nice light Breakfast Everything about the place was pleasant and walking around the village and by the river was enjoyable and relaxing. Ample parking spaces.
Cons: Bedroom wasn't the biggest but was adequate.

Pros: Wonderful, friendly hosts (excellent English!); superb food (breakfasts and evening meal); lovely room with separate sitting room. For the evening meal we dined on the patio - superb views and friendly discussions with hosts and other guests. A separate kitchen area allowed for teas, etc. Good sized swimming pool with plenty of furniture.
Cons: Access roads - surfaces! Location: a little too distant (for our liking) for evening meals out but not a problem for just one night.
Pros: Lovely house, 15 minutes ride from Cahors, a good spot for traveling in the Lot era. Nice breakfast. there is a pool if you don't want to travel all day. The owners are very helpful & speak english. lovely view all around.
Cons: the morning pastries could be improved the croisons are not top french pastries coffee also could be improved they made it with filter & not the italian way witch in my opinion is better.
Pros: The hosts are extremely welcoming. The dinner was a great experience
Pros: Loved our stay! Paul and Yvette were gracious hosts and knowledgeable about the area. The house is in a beautiful setting. Our room was clean and large and my bed was so comfortable! Breakfast was delicious! We stayed for four nights as it was central to many activities for us. We were so busy sight-seeing that I wish we had more time to enjoy their home. Thank you! (And don't miss Yvette's fig spread and strawberry jam! Delicious!)

With a stay at Hôtel Le Vinois in Caillac, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Musee La Planete des Moulins and Chateau Saint-Sernin. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Service was amazing and the staff was extremely polite and helpful. The restaurant was an absolute treat.
Pros: This was a very last minute booking, but what a find. Stunning hotel, very tastefully decorated, lots of personal little touches in the room. And a very lovely room it was. Massive bed, gorgeous open plan bathroom with double shower. Couldn't fault it. Staff (husband and wife) very attentive and served a gorgeous dinner. Definitely recommend.
Pros: Loction, rooms and food.
Cons: Very hospitable
Pros: Great food! Fantastic dinner.
Pros: Beautiful room, stunning bathroom. Bed was really comfortable. Fabulous food. Owner was very friendly. Apart from the above about the kettle/milk/tv, we couldn't fault it.
Cons: It's a little thing really but a kettle would have been nice and some tea/coffee/milk pods. It was such a waste to have to buy a whole pint of long life milk from the shop next door just for a 2 night stay - we only had a few cups of tea, we had to throw the rest of the milk away (we left the tea bags for the next guest). An English channel on the tv would also have been nice, even if just a news channel, as there's not a huge amount to do once it's gone dark.

Cons: Breakfast was rather basic and entirely self service
Pros: Great staff ,very good food in the restaurant, excellent bathroom
Cons: Nothing comes to mind
Pros: Great food and good service in the restaurant. The room was ok with nice views from the sliding doors
Cons: The pool was dirty and had not been attended to so not possible to swim! It seemed a bit inappropriate for the reception area to be littered with a child’s toys?

Pros: The food in restaurant was fantastic and it was always busy. Good value and lots of choice with an excellent standard of cooking. We had the menu twice in 3 days. Small but clean pool perfect after a hot day sightseeing. Hotel is Very good value for price. Rooms are plain and simple in annex but handy for pool.
Cons: Very small room could do with some modernisation, but was outweighed by pool nearby.
