Pros: very friendly staff especially the lady who prepared breakfast.
Pros: We were not sure what we would experience as this is in such a small town and had a low rating, however, we had an incredible stay. Clean rooms. Helpful staff. We did not get a chance to eat due to the schedule we were on, but the breakfast looked good!!
Cons: Great experience....
Clean well maintained rooms and friendly staff. Hot breakfast items changed daily and were very tasty. Fruit and snacks in the lobby were an extra treat.
Pros: Exterior and Interior of building was well lit and maintained. Staff was attentive and courtious at all times.
The accessibility to the main entrance was awkward due to having only one way access from the street.

Cons: The place where they served the complimentary breakfast was small and crowded.
Pros: Clean, roomy, and the staff was the best I've ever dealt with. Was beyond my expectations.

Pros: The bed was comfortable and the room was reasonably clean. The staff seemed friendly as well.
Cons: This isn't necessarily the hotel's fault, but I happened to be placed next to a room that local high school/college kids seemed to have claimed for their weekend party spot. It was pretty noisy until after midnight. Beyond that, it was just little stuff--the chain on the door was missing, the bar of soap at the sink was broken into about 10 pieces, the recliner chair had some stains on it, the wall around the shower had pretty bad water damage and a sloppy patching job on one part. I'm all for bargain hotels in the sense of foregoing unnecessary luxuries, but there was a more basic level of care that seemed missing in that room. It wasn't a terrible experience, but I'll probably look into other options next time.
Pros: The owners were friendly and helpful but the afternoon check in guy was a little questionable.
Cons: I thought this motel was overpriced and over rated. The owners were very friendly, but I didn't feel the room was very clean and needed updating. The lampshades were torn, there was a flimsy mattress cover on the bed, and I just didn't feel it was very clean. The breakfast was very basic and not good at all. Tang, white bread and bagels, old cereal. It felt like a cheap highway motel and I was expecting a little nicer based on the website. I was glad I was only staying one night.
Adjacent to a golf course, American Motel is a great choice for a stay in Lenoir. Free perks include WiFi, self parking, and continental breakfast daily between 6 AM and 10 AM. Rooms feature bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves.
Pros: There was nothing we liked- We slept with all of our clothes on- everything too disgusting and run down, roaches!
Cons: We did not like anything about this place. Arrived late- the front door of the lobby was locked we had to wait there for over 15 minutes before the clerk showed up. The room is absolutely disgusting, clogged shower, roaches on the floor, broken curtains, dirty bed sheets- don't stay there! Stay across the street in the hampton inn- we will next time, better to pay a little more than to stay in a slum!
