The proximity to campus.
The room was musty and very humid when we arrived. It seemed like the room had not been opened in a while. It also smelled strongly of smoke. I discovered a flea in the sink and in the toilet. It was not a good experience. This hotel has not been maintained properly, which is a shame because it is located in a very central location to ASU. The hotel needs to be aired out and updated and would mostly likely attract a new range of guests with a few updates. After arriving I wished I had spent the extra money to stay somewhere cleaner and nicer.
Nothing skechiest place I've ever seen
Everything staff were rude and There were weird people hanging around in the lobbyHotel was absolutely terrible. We elected to stay on someone else's floor rather than that hotel and pay not to stay there
Hotel is in terrible shape. Dirty, smells bad, bugs, mold or mildew, nasty all around.I am surprised this facility is allowed to be open to the public. It is unsafe and in terrible condition.
I left my credit card on floor; called later to ask about it...staff had turned it into the main office and was there for me to pick up.
Didn't realize it was a pet hotel...allergic to cats and dogs...so, apprehensive about staying there. Surprised hotel does not seperate pet use rooms from others. Allergies were manageable. Staff 'I don't think this room has had pets before.'Very low end hotel. We arrived and our reaction was, 'Really!' 'OMG' Room had a place where the cement floor dropped off a couple inches...a red line was painted along drop off and a sign posted 'Watch your step!' Didn't always remember drop off and lost a bit of balance. No drain plug to take a bath....had to use washcloth to plug drain. Paid full price of hotel room with priceline! More than any other hotel on our 4 night trip. Allergies flared up a bit because of pet hotel.
did have newer carpet and the beds looked clean
Ya when you say you have a swimming pool please have one that works....the kitchen was very old....bathroom did not work well, water took a long time to get warm, and the sinks don't work well alsoIt was good for the very short time I was there but was hoping for a pool since I had little ones wanting to swim
Large room size and location was great. Bathroom was large and renovated.
The pillows were FIFTHY. Not even a pillow cover under the pillow case. Linen smelled clean but had several spots on them. Glad I had brought Lysol with me and my own pillow or I would have left for another hotel. The mattresses are old as well. Not a good place to sleep if you have small children.
the girl behind the counter was nice. it was the cheapest room in town and it wasn't bad at all. the room had seen better days but the beds were comfortable and it was cleaned well.
well it's not exactly the ritz carltonit was a fine experience. the one star rating concerned me but to me it was old but well maintained and the staff was nice.
