Staff very friendly and helpful. Computer based error on checking in meant that only one room had been allocated for myself and my colleague, when two rooms had initially been booked. However, staff were very quick to rectify this without any further problems. Fair bit of road noise throughout the night. Restaurant associated with the hotel was slow to deliver food on ordering, but when it arrived the food was fine.
Very good value for money, pleasent room. Breakfast was lovely and staff friendly. Sound proofing of the room was not very good you could hear every noise from people walking along the corridor to everytime anyone opened there door it sounded like someone was entering your room.

Staff were very polite and friendly. Heating was very poor in the room 18.. When we checked in, we were given food vouchers,,we went for dinner at 7.45 and had to wait untill 8.30 to be served as the staff knew nothing about the vouchers,this was totally unaceptable,the bed clothes were damp in room 18,the noise from over head room at night was too loud, apart from the staff it has to rate as the worst premier inn i've stayed at.

The staff were excellent throughout, and they really make this hotel. quite a bit of refurbishment going on at present. also would have expected clean bedding daily, not just the bed made up with the same sheets and pillow cases left on. in one week staying at the hotel, they were only changed once.
As there was no booking for us we were appalled. Our communications with you and the hotel have not proved satisfactory. Our trip was completely ruined.
All fine, very clean. Can't understand some of the other reviews. Seemed to be used mainly by businessmen or traveling workers. Sky Sports in main bar. a good price too, inc. breakfast (table service) great. Suade type chairs in bar are well worn but not dirty as a previous comment. Just a bad choice I guess - Suade will do that.
The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. We had to seat ourselves at breakfast. There was no cereal bowls or milk. We had to ask to order breakfast and when the toast came we had to ask for butter. Also we were not offered freshly brewed coffee or tea as stated on the menu. There seemed to be plenty of staff but they were not organised.

Cool rennovated warehouse with appropriate light industrial finishings. Nice blend of retro with very modern upgrades. Less than two miles to Anfield ( we walked back from match - all downhill). Service (front desk, bar, and concierge) did not match otherwise outstanding facility. Distance from downtown perhaps made ready cab or Uber service a little longer than normal. Staff appeared newly hired and perhaps less experiences in how things were supposed to work. Tried hard but had to seek directions from others. Given time on the job, expect service will improve. Would give another try.
This is a very new hotel voted 1 on Trip Advisor. I visit Liverpool often and have stayed in many hotels. The room was very clean, high-tec design was ok - good to be close to s many places of interest. Good bathroom. Awful air-con, cold air blowing directly onto the bed all night was very poor - very little sleep! Staff unable to fix? Alternative room offered seemed to have a similar problem - no upgrade suggested/offered to compensate. Single room was the size of a large cupboard, bathroom almost as big.........? I hope the double rooms are bigger?
I absolutely loved this hotel! I slept in for my flight and a member of staff came n woke me up! helped me to pack my stuff! seriously beautiful hotel! Around the corner from d main party square and two minutes away from the main shopping area! go here! the staff are amazing!

It was very close to everything! The bus station, the nightlife, restaurants and the shops were all within 5 minutes walking time or less! :) We couldnt open our window and the room just felt a teeney bit claustrophobic because of it!

The room was nice and modern and the lobby was big with outdoor seats staff were friendly. The location is quiet at night. We had requested an room with a view of the Mersey which we didnt get. The dining room carpet was very dirty and the hotel is a little far away from the city centre.
Check in was effortless. Rooms were are of a very good standard and clean. The extra bed was very uncomfortable.
Room had everything you could wish for, very well planned and thought out. Had a water cut off mid morning which was a little inconvenient as I was mid showering when it went off.

Excellant staff, from doorman through to room service and restaurant staff - well done all. (1) Not really a bad point just one of slight irritation, and it happens in a number of hotels, staff in restaurants continually asking "is everything alright". I suppose its just getting the balance right. (2) Again not a big point, but checking and ensuring things like mini bar doors and wardrobe doors don't bind, etc but are set-up correctly are proper touches for a hotel like the plaza.

Conveniently located for theatre break. Clean, well equiped, compact modern hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Excellent shower. Good selection at breakfast although sausages/bacon looked a bit undercooked. Although the shower was excellent the wc is separate from the ensuite and doesnt have a washhand basin and is less convenient than a traditional en-suite. Expensive bar prices.

An excellent room, the bed was very comfortable, very clean, there were excellent facilities the sauna & gym were great. We were offered breadfast for £10 each on check in but did not book as we were unsure what time we were meeting friends the next day on the following morning the offer was withdrawn this was the only fault we found with this hotel.
The Hotel is right at the centre of Liverpool, I felt the hotel description could elaborate more on this. Minutes away from the young and lively night life of Bold street, in the other direction only minutes from Church street with its outside craft/food stalls and a great selection of shops to whet your appetite on the way to Liverpool one. Hotel staff are excellent, very friendly however, they speak extremely fast and it was difficult to understand. They were very patient when I kept saying, I'm sorry I don't understand what you are saying. The bar is modern, fresh and inviting. The carpet outside the lift on the 8th floor where our room was loacted was very dirty.

Location! The hotel is a short walk from Matthew Street and Liverpool One. Hotel is in the Hart of City Centre. The staff is extremely friendly. Will stay again. If there is one thing I didn't like is the lack of stairs or an extra elevator. Nothing too bad, but can slow you down if you are in a hurry.

Location was very close to Cavern Club. Check in was confusing, person at the counter acted as if it was her first hour on the job. Went to lounge for a drink, was hoping to hear beatles music... after all, we were staying at the Hard Days Night Hotel. They were playing beatles music, but it was so soft we could barely hear it (and not because there were so many people talking, there were only 4 people in the lounge). I asked them to turn it up, which they did ever so slightly. Still only soft background music. We were not looking for loud, just something we could hear without straining. Had yet another bad experience with concierge (Kevin). We had purchased tickets to the Cavern Club Beatles tribute band show through the hotel. Asked Kevin when we should plan to arrive for the 8 PM show to be sure we got seats (explaining that I had read on line that seating was limited and you had to arrive early to get seats even if you had purchased tickets). Kevin dismissed my concern, saying we just had to be there at 8 and handed us the tickets. When we got to the room I read the tickets, they also said that seating was limited and that a ticket didn't guarantee a seat. Decided to ignore Kevin's guidance and it was a good thing we did. We arrived at 7, people were already lined up. By the time the doors opened (7:45) the place was full of people lined up to get in. We got a seat, but had we listened to Kevin we would have been standing for the entire show, which ended just after midnight.
The beatles theme throughout the hotel is fascinating a must see for any beatles fan. The hotel staff are very helpful and even tried to get us tickets for the comedy club. There was a strange noise almost like a tube train that was very annoying. I did complain and was given a £20 discount. They thought it was the air conditioning.
The food at Blakes restaurant was amazing and all staff were very helpful throughout the hotel. The decor is luxurious and rooms are spacious.

nice location friendly staff one thing i didnt know adout the room before hand ,it had a door linking up to another room this meant you could hear people talking quiet clearly in the early morning when we stay again we will look for a room that dont have this link up door otherwise we could have no fault with the hotel it was excellent will stay again
It was brand new and very well situated for shopping and nightlife in the City I think it is a misguided strategy to charge for bottled water in the room-this seems a small point but it is the only hotel I have been to that does not provide it free of charge.

Location was great and the breakfast was really nice. The food in the restaurant was also very good. The air conditioning was a bit weak. It was cold when we were in Liverpool and it took about an hour for the airco to warm the room up.

Thought the hotel was fantastic - great view, lovely room, great bar, great breakfast and good ambience. No radio or music in room v disappointing. The staff member on duty when we checked out wouldn't believe us when we said we had only had two drinks other peoples drinks had managed to get onto our bill. We were left waiting for a long time while she tried to sort this out and then we received no apology when she realised she was in the wrong!!!! Very poor customer service.
Great location, new modern business hotel Management need to take responsibility for training staff properly. This needs to come from the top and filter down. Tea and coffee being slammed onto the breakfast table is not acceptable nor is a poorly trained bartender who knows nothing about the area he is working on. With a few adjustments things could run much slicker.

All the staff were very helpful and welcoming No food (even sandwiches) available after 10.00pm. At the bar, plenty of alcohol available, but the coffee/hot chocolate machine was switched off at 10.00pm. No choice of teas in the room.

The room was very basic, and for some reason although there was only two of us, they had made another camp bed type thing up, which took up a lot of room, leaving very limited space to move around the room when getting ready for our evening out!

New hotel, ideal location (near the dock etc), nice and comfy rooms There were some teething problems with a new hotel. The fire alarms went off in the middle of the night twice on our 1st night. On 2nd night, no hot water. it was disappointing that the staff in the hotel wasn't able to tell us how long it would take to fix the problem.

Comfortable bed and the pub next door! (The Baltic Fleet) Room was on topfloor and close to lift shaft - too noisy. Also, inadequate breakfast facilities...side plates in lieu of dinner plates and not sufficient space to accommodate the number of guests - you end up eating breakfast practically in the reception area.

Very well kept hotel, and staff were generally nice. On check in they wanted to take credit card and take money from it, I usually pay on check out and we wanted to pay cash as we have no credit card. The manager was unwilling to help us at all and wouldnt take deposit or anything and insisted we get credeit card from somewhere or we couldnt stay! I thought was outrageous and prejudice against people who dont have credit cards we had used a prepay to book hotel. In the end we had to get our friends credit details just to secure the room and then pay on check out. I found this very inconvienent and embarrassing to be treated like that!!
Its new and modern We asked for a wake up call - didnt get it. We also asked previous evening to book taxi for 4.45am as we had an early flight. We ended up having to get the night porter to ring a taxi at 5.00am. for us.

This hotel needs some money spent on it. The food was ok. There was private function, so there was only one bar open, with no atmosphere, but three tv's! It certainly isn't 4 stars.

Once out of Lime Street train station, I saw the hotel at the opposite side. That was really handy after 3 hours journey from London. Facilities are very clean, we enjoyed the leisure center. The breakfast was just perfect, no more comment needed! And the staff, I miss words to describe how friendly they were from the reception to the breakfast service up to the check out time. Thanks! With a mini-bar in the rooms, I think this hotel would deserve 5 stars status. Unfortunatelly there wasn't!

The room was clean, comfortable, well furnished and the bathroom was a good size and well lit. I would have liked to have checked in earlier and checked out later but this was not possible apparently due to the high occupancy of the hotel.
Restaurant/breakfast staff were exceptionally courteous, cheerful and industrious. Reception staff were cold and indifferent. Cancelled morning call for second morning but still happened. Woken at 6-15 Sunday which was avoidable if they had cancelled it as requested. When told about this the girl apologised in an indifferent way. Put us off returning.
The location was perfect for Lime Street Station and the city centre, and the staff were always friendly and helpful.
The staff were amazing and could not do enough to make our stay an enjoyable one. The decor was great, the room and the bed were so comfortable, and it was near to the main City's shops and attractions.
I stay fairly often so enjoy the fact that some staff recognise that sometimes with a nice little touch I only marked down as fair for comfort on the basis that the exterior refurbishment works is somewhat distracting
