The management bent over backwards to accommodate our early (3:00) a.m. arrival after a ferry trip from the Isle of Man. They got out of bed to let us into our room at that ridiculous time, even though they weren't a 24-hour operation. We can't thank them enough for all they did for us under very unusual circumstances! The rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfast provided was amazing. Thank you!!! Absolutely nothing to dislike!
Quiet hotel, carefull staff,
Small and friendly family run hotel. Basic with improvements been made all the time. Really comfy bed and fab fluffy duvet. Rooms are great, have everything you need, but would benefit from a little more decor.
Friendly and very helpful staff. The room smelt of smoking by previous guests.
Superfriendly staff, nice&clean rooms, breakfast included, definitely freat value for money
Plane was late and waited up for me and was very pleasnt
This is a small place run by competent and friendly staff who provide excellent information for visitors to Liverpool. It doesn't have an attractive facade but don't be deceived by that.
fantastic quality/price! is not different from Ibis or similar budget chains, but costs much less, has a parking, some breakfast at no additional charges and is rather conveniently located if you travel by car
Nice, clean and friendly hotel
The owner was really helpful, the rooms were very spacious, nice decor, clean and comfortable. Lovely room just off reception where we could make our own breakfast, all supplied by the hotel. would definitley recommend It's situated on a busy road, not much in the area, but it's on a regular bus route into the city centre, and taxis are only about £5
Room was well decorated and staff were very helpful and friendly.
Quiet and spacious rooms, comfortable four single beds. delicious breakfast. really worthy! I'm happy to recommend it to my friends. Nothing.
Helpfull staff, no problems Further out of town than I expected but ok
Simple room. Just needed a place to sleep.
this hotel had a few plus points that we had easy access to our room and could come and go as we pleased the hotel is postioned in a very poor location in around alot of rundown buildings. there was no secure parking at the place apart from the road outside which didnt seem safe. its advertised as being above a busy pub, this is not true as the pub wasnt open at all for the wkend that we stayed. very poor accomodation for £160 a night which we paid.
The staff went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.
Not a whole lot to like about the place the best thing about it was being able to get a taxi in 2 min. The staff were nice!
we were left alone breakfast was at 10.00 we arrived at 10.10 and the door was locked. we went to the cafe on the corner. The blog says the bar is busy etc. The bar has ceased to trade
There was nothing to like about it, except that the one member of staff that we met was doing her best. It wasn't her fault that the premises was more like a homeless shelter. The condition of the rooms and building was not acceptable for paying guests. The taxi driver plus the food delivery guy had a big problem finding this out of the way and badly lit building.
Beautiful room, everything was very clean. It was a bit far from the city centre.
The owner was cheery and the breakfast was fine (though offered only during a limited window of 7 to 8 AM -- no sleeping in here). Awful wireless signal -- could barely pick it up on the main floor and impossible on upper floors. Mattresses were a killer -- worn out, spring piercing, sagging. Slats in my bed cracked. Hit head on low ceiling of stairwell twice. I wasn't the first -- chipped plaster was all over the stairs. A shared shower meant walking stairs in cold before and after shower. Wasn't even soap in the shower area. This place would benefit from a substantial updating and renovation.
