clean, close to city center with kitchen facilities
no internet access. unforgivable in a hotel todey
It's the cheapest I could find, and the staff are very pleasant and helpful. Good location. I stayed a couple of weeks ago and commented on the uncomfortable bed - the one in my room this time was much better!! So if you get a dodgy bed (sagging mattress) just ask to change rooms and you should get a better bed.
The blanket on the bed had sticky stains on it... and there was hardly any cutlery, I couldn't even cut through an orange with the only knife there was. The staff are helpful though so I think if I'd asked them to change/add they would have done.
The City Résidence Bordeaux Centre is located in a newly built complex. The studio in which I stayed was spacious and comfortable. The tram stop Chartrons is within walking distance.
During lunch hours the reception is closed. The apartments have sofa-beds.
I though the room was a little shabby (one shelf in the closet was unhunged, the sofa cushions and the bedding were clean but had stains). We were also unlucky that somebody kept calling on the phone every few minutes and we had to unplug it. Although this cannot be the hotel's fault
poor breakfast for EUR 12.00
