not much I was on a business trip your hotel is a family resort, it was over priced, in poor condition and totally not what I was looking for
The cuisine was good, the pools were handy noise at night, extra beds smaller and uncomfortable than advertised.
facilities were good...and it was an escape from the busy sea fronts difficulty in access to tennis courts
Fantastic swimming pools, lovely apartment and excellent food. Our stay was only 4 nights but we had no new towels or room service which l did expect at least once and l didnt like the idea after paying in advance for the stay of having to also put a deposit down once at hotel and also having to strip our own beds and return the linen and towels to the laundry for them to check it was all there before we could leave and have our deposit returned.
Lots of facilities and lovely staff
Perfect location to stay with small children. Very good food.
Swimming Pool is great. Entretainment is only in italian, makes you feel apart.
Kind staff, very helpful, very reasonalbe prices in Pizzeria (don't know about restaurant), very friendly with children, nice seaview (farer away) opening times of swimming area could be longer. Instead of 9 - 19 h, 8 - 20 h. So, if you have to leave the hotel in the morning, you would have the possibility of going for a swim in the morning before breakfast.
Excellent for families with kids, although distant from the see Long waiting time at the reception, reception staff willing but not efficient, boring breakfasts
The friendly barman was accommodating and served us even though the bar had closed because we arrived extremely late due to the hotel. 1. Early check out time of 10am, 2. Hotel had not read the reservation correctly and only had one room prepared, despite it being almost midnight. 3. The reception staff were not systematic in their dealings with various customers, often leaving one halfway to attend to another, or having multiple members of staff dealing with one person.
We were possible to check in even before 14:00, parking fee is counted pre night, and stuff allowed me to leave car in parking space till evening of that thay when we checked out, what helped a lot. Room was OK (although view on sea would make it absolutely perfect) but I booked it on last minute.Very satisfied with garden and swimmongf pool. Nice breakfast with view on the sea. In general full satisfaction. Absence of Wifi signal in the rooms and garden.. Balcony on the side towards the hills was relatively small and accessible via bathroom, but it was not criticatl issue.
It was one big disillusion. We had the expensive comfort suite. Comfort suite means in this hotel smal, unsnug room without aircondition, equiped with old terrible furniture. From one site thrums railway. On the window site was every day very noisy disco over midnight. Absolut not value for the money.
I love so much the location of the hotel and the stuff. I don`t like cleaning servise, couse they don`t clearn terrace.
Nice big room with terrace overlooking the sea
Close to the water Pictures looked better on internet then in real. We had a big problem with mosquitos inside the studio, so I spent most nights trying to kill mosquitos, and because of that, I did not get much sleep during the time we were there. The cleaning was not very good. Lot of stones on the beach.
The view straight onto the beach and the swimming pool. Large room. The photos on the website only show the most expensive room, while the comfort apartments have not been renovated since the fifties, so they're very drab. You have to sit in the bath to use the shower. If you want to use the kitchen you have to pay an additional €30. Very expensive considering the basics for cooking are not supplied like cooking oil, salt and pepper or a dish cloth!
Excellent location on the shingly beach, good pool, good breakfast. Easy walk into Albenga old town. Fantastic sea views. Would stay again. In need of some refurbishment and modernisation rooms are very dated especially bathroom and kitchen. A hark back to the fifties. Clean and tidy and the location makes up for the drab accomodation. Restaurant expensive but breakfast in with room price is good value.
Nice free beach, with an excellente sea-view(with an island) from a rooms really poor breakfast, expensive restourant
The beach, view and surroundings near the hotel are amazing. Our room "comfort double" was very old. Bed was terrible. There was no air conditioner, which in summer season in Italy is very disturbing. No safe box. Poor breakfast.
Great sea view, a lot of parking place near the hotel and inside, very friendly personell and fantastic Caprpaccio di Ricciola
nothing garbage containers on arrival; beach animation and music up to 1 a.m. making it impossible to rest for the other clients; TV not working properly
The room had everything what you need: small kitchen with fridge and utensils, nice bathroom with shower, towels and sachets of shampoo. The hotel itself is within walking distance from the beach (takes about 5mins). Everything is newly renovated, room was very clean. Didn't use the pool or eat there, as I prefered the beach and tasting the food in the restaurants TV was ancient and the remote control didn't work. No English channels. Walls are very thin and in the morning you can hear neighbours talking. Apart from these two things everything else was perfect.
The room was comfortable enough and well-equiped. The beach was close and the garden and swimming pool were pleasant. Balcony overlooking the garden was a nice touch. Most of the equipment were worn and (along with the hotel interior) had an early 80s feel about it. The hotel was located near a railway and a costal road which made talking with the window open difficult during the day.
Location was not good to obtain dinner when arriving late (9pm) on a Monday night.
the staff was very nice and helpful, the appartment was big, comfortable and very clean. we enjoyed our stay.
We liked the comfort of the beds, the modern, well-maintained facilities and the enormous swimming pool. Pay extra for the jacuzzi. I was a little nervous when they asked for our passports when we checked in late the first night and held them until morning. But they gave them back with no problems.
In our way back from Spain we stayed again in this resort. It is really great value for this price and to recommend.
We stopped over for a night on our way to the French Riviera. The hotel is clean, the kitchenette well equipped, and we had a comfortable stay. The town itself is small, but if you have a car and plan to travel around, then it may be worth staying. For the money, it is great value and I would consider it again for a longer stay.
Nice calm small hotel build upon the ruins of an ancient Roman villa. Large luxorious quiet rooms with aircon. Beautiful garden. Good swimming pool with hillside view over Albenga and mountains You depend on a car - with GPS to navigate the narrow roads through the vast horticultural industry area to reach downtown. The hotel restaurant was closed except for breakfast.
Beautiful gardens, charming building, freindly, helpful staff, fascinating objets d'art, and large, well-furnished rooms.
