Pros: Very recommended for families. Giuliano and Nancy are great hosts, kind and nice. The facilities are clean and very good: equipped kitchen, 2 big air-conditioned sleeping rooms, shaded yard with tables, chairs, sofas, BBQ
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Everything about the place was to quote an aussie Fab U Less, what a view in the evening or first thing in the morning, and I do mean first thing !!!
Cons: Wi/Fi was rubbish but it is a work in progress
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet and safe place out of the street rush. Clean, well equipped kitchen and bathroom. Great quality/price ratio - that is a really pleasant place to stay!
Cons: Breakfast was just a croissant and coffee, but maybe that's Italian standard ;)
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Hosts very friendly and helpful. The apartment was very nice, plenty of space for our family with 3 children. The garden was a great space to spill out into. A great pizza place nearby. Definitely recommend.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice apartment with access to the garden of the house. Localisation is good for visiting pompei and also Amalfi, Naples and Sorento areas. Small supermarket at 100m, very convenient. Owners are also very kind.
Cons: Rien
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The property itself was such a wonderful surprise...It was a completely tranquil place to relax away from the nonstop noise and traffic of the surrounding city. The bbq grill outside, coffee machine in the kitchen, as well as the high-powered air conditioners, made the stay perfect.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very nice owner and excellent price-quality ratio. Helpful recommendation for dinner and respecting strictly all promises. Good parking possibilities.
Cons: -
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and tidy, calm, nearby Amalfi Coast, friendly and helpfull staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! The owner is such a lovely and friendly lady, and the accommodation was super clean and neat. Great garden too, clean and convenient facilities. Everything was perfect!
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hosts was very friendly and nice. Our apartment was very spacious, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom absolutely clean, bed comfortable. Villa's yard big, cozy, perfect for chilling in the evening or taking sunbeds in day time. Only few minutes walk to small supermarket and few pica restaurants - it was very handy for us. So if you want good accommodation for good price and you don't mind to travel the narrow serpentine road through the mountain to reach the magnificent Amalfi coast - this villa is for you :)
Cons: Everything was good

Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff, elegant surroundings, good breakfast and good central location. Quiet and peaceful room.
Cons: We didn't like leaving.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was good and location excellent! Also room was nice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Great hosts
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location is really good everything is within walking distance, we didn’t need to take any public transportation. The staff are very nice, friendly and accommodating. We came an hour earlier than our check in time and Roberta checked us in as soon as the room was ready. She helped us to book some tour as well so happy with the service.
Cons: There was an issue with our shower head, the water wasn’t coming from the head but the side. This happened Saturday evening and Sunday they didn’t have any maintenance in house. It was temporary fixed but not really convenient for the guest to have this problem summer time and not have any person in the property to fix the problem. The bathroom has a drainage issue as well. Regarding the breakfast don’t have big expectations.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location, nice and clean rooms, good communication :)
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The staff was really nice! We arrived early and were able to leave our bags at the hotel while we toured part of the city. While we were out, I sprained my foot and the lady who checked us in voluntarily brought me ice and an ice pack for my foot! The breakfast the next morning was very good also.
Cons: The signage is not easy to spot. If we had not been dropped off directly by a hired driver, I am not sure we would have found it. In fact after being out touring in the city when we walked back we passed by the now closed entry door. (There are several doors which look to same along this building/street.) When we back tracked, we finally found the name above the buzzer for entry. This is not a true criticism - just a warning for future customers.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous place to stay, very central location in an incredible old building. We got a great welcome from Roberta, who was very helpful with directions etc. The family room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and breakfast was served by 5 star chef Yolande!! Highly recommended.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very central and staff where so nice. Walking distance to also every where. Rooms where basic but has all you needed.
Cons: Only thing I didn’t like is you have to lock the door when you come in at night and after 8pm as there is no one available at reception.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff is lovely, helpful, fun, and very welcoming. Great location and the building is a typical Neapolitan one with a charming inner-court and staircase, I loved it. Breakfast is also good for a guesthouse and served very nicely.
Cons: Lights in the bathroom are quite cold which makes it something uncomfortable. A warmer shade of white for the LEDs would help.
B&B Cornelia - Pompei - Bedroom
3
9.4 Excellent (183 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at B&B Cornelia, you'll be centrally located in Pompei, a 1-minute drive from Pompeii Archaeological Park and 8 minutes from Gulf of Naples.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely everything. Fabulous host, lovely property, great location
Cons: Nothing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfasts included fresh croissants and doughnuts. There was fresh fruit and yogurts provided and a variety of soft drinks. The man who served breakfast was helpful and friendly. We were given a birthday cake so that we could celebrate my son's birthday, which was a very thoughtful gesture. We were very close to the attractions and to a variety of restaurants. It was the perfect place for a family requiring 3 rooms.
Cons: Some of the beds were very hard.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great location close to the Pompeii entrance, nice breakfast and very kind and helpful host.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Perfect for visiting of Pompeii and/or Vesuvio. Located just opposite the entrance to Pompeii and to public bus stop to Vesuvio. Host works as a tourist guide in Pompeii and gave us plenty of info.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The b&b is in an excellent location, the host gave us maps and recommended places to visit and local restaurants. For our family it was perfect as we took up the three rooms of the apartment. There was a lovely Italian man who served us breakfast each morning, which consisted of fresh croissants, bread, fruit, yogurts and juices. They catered well for me as I am vegetarian. A cake was also provided for my brothers birthday, which was a lovely touch. I would recommend the accommodation.
Cons: Not an issue for us but just be aware that quite a small space if mixed with different groups of travellers.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location for visiting Pompeii ruins and trips out to Vesuvius, Herculaneum, Sorrento/Capri and Naples. We were met at the earlier booking-in time we requested and given recommendations for eating out and things to do. Without this we would have missed out on a delicious meal at the restaurant Adu di Mimi and the fantastic views to be had from the top of the Campanile in the nearby piazza (buy a ticket to take the lift up). Large, clean comfortable room. The B&B as a whole perhaps wasn't quite what we were anticipating - a set of 3 suites within a larger apartment block - but it delivered what it promised and served us very well. A very enjoyable stay - thank you.
Cons: Can't think of anything.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, super helpful owners
Cons: The beds were very hard
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location and service
Cons: It was a bit expensive, considering their own local prices and the season.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Clean, simple and comfortable but above all the location is amazing to visit the ruins and also access the Vesuvius bus. They are a couple of hundred metres away. Lots of local parking. Couldn’t ask more for our visit.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Brilliant location 100m from the ruins. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast.
Cons: Nothing.

Cons: Absolutely nothing
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location, very clean, owner very helpful
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Stefania and Angela were lovable, helpful, top shelf.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was amazing. They had provided meats and cheeses with fresh tomatoes and different fresh fruit each day. This was complimented by good quality granola and yoghurt and a selection of local cakes and pastries. If you need any excuse to have cake for breakfast, then stay here. The room was small, but sufficient in size. When you're staying in a city, all you need is a good bed and a shower.
Cons: There was some problem with the internet, sometimes it wouldn't connect properly. We found that if we went into the lounge area and connected and then went back to our rooms, then it would stay connected. The hotel is on the top floor of an old building, for us it was fine, but if you have mobility issues it may be a struggle. They have a lift, but it is small and very slow, so be patient.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful breakfast, friendly staff & perfect location for exploring Naples and surrounding areas.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location close to everything there is to discover in Naples. Generous breakfast. Staff is super friendly, helpful and gave good advice for things to see and experience.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel in the middle of the old town and in an arty neighbourhood - we felt right at home. The hotel kindly upgraded us to one of their new apartments and it was lovely with its own kitchen and roof terrace. Breakfast was excellent too - lots of choice. We'll definitely be back.
Cons: Unfortunately there was a problem with the air con on the second night which meant the room got too warm to sleep comfortably but the hotel did take some money off our bill to make up for it. Once they've got that fixed it will be perfect.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! It was quite superb and great value for money and top location - just 5 mins walk from both Dante Metro stop and the Archaeological Museum.

Pros: The staff were amazing Cristiana, Cristina and one male man in reception and one man in the breakfast from tunisia , very helpful and polite. The view for our room was lovely as we requested. Grazie per il vostro servizio
Cons: The hall ways were very hot with not air-condition.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location was amazing, as it was only a short walk from the metro station to the hotel. The staff were very friendly! It is incredibly quiet and clean at this hotel. We slept very well! I wish we had more time in Naples, as we only had the chance to stay here one night.
Cons: Nothing!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was very good and hotel’s locatipn was perfect.
Cons: My room on the 6th floor had a very small window , no fresh air was in the room
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel has been recently renovated and the design is really crisp and modern. I particularly liked the innovative signage. The rooms were very bright, light and white. It was very easy to read. Too many hotels rooms are dark and dingy and reading is impossible. We found it an easy walk to the city and there are many interesting parts of Naples just around the corner. The street outside has a number of bars and restaurants and Friday night really rocks.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is modern and comfortable. It has a beautiful courtyard. It is situated in a very good location, close to everything. Breakfast was very good.
Cons: Guest should not be allowed to smoke in the courtyard. It is annoying to eat breakfast and to get a load of smoke in your face.

Pros: Very well kept hotel - rooms were sparkling clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the food was very good. Breakfast, in particular, was delicious and plentiful. Location is excellent
Cons: Forum (and hotels in general) need to make sure there are power outlets on both sides of the bed. Although cumbersome, this was only a minor nuisance.

Pros: The breakfast was good, a nice selection and enough for my husband and I. The room was nice and clean with a comfortable bed. there is a lovely little garden you can sit in with lemon trees. The staff were very friendly and helpful ; they supplied with us with enough information to tour the area. We liked the location of this hotel as it central for Naples and Sorrento.
Cons: It was a little dated but that didn't detract from how much we enjoyed our stay.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location, very close to the entrance of the ruins. Very quiet, once you enter the gate to the hotel and the beautiful garden.
Cons: A pity that breakfast isn’t served in the garden.

Pros: The pool, the great food and the fantastic hospitality.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Villa Franca was a nice place to have as a base when visiting Pompeii. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable and the pool is nice. The staff/owner are very helpful and pleasant too. A plentiful and delicious dinner is provided if you want - which is great as their is not much around. It was a nice place to spend one night :-)
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Clean rooms, great pool, parking on site, location, helpful staff, great service and memorable dinners!
Cons: No fridge in the room.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly family guest house. Nice and cozy Italian garden by the pool where we eat and hang out. Stay and enjoy the evening dinner!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stumbled across Villa Franca by good fortune having decided last minute to spend the night in Pompeii rather than Paestum. And how lucky we were, we could not have been made to feel more welcome. Simple spotless rooms with air con, copious towels and a wonderful little swimming pool, an oasis from the intense July heat. Lorena and Domenico looked after us superbly and blew us away with their delicious traditional dinner. The most generous antipasti I’ve ever seen plus a lasagna and gnocchi that should win a Michelin star - homemade slow cooked by Domenico - the best lasagna I’ve ever eaten. And what good value! Many thanks indeed Villa Franca!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: What a gem, so close to Pompeii, the owners are so welcoming and accomodating. Good size room for a family of four in an easy to find location. On adivce we had dinner there, although we were a little worried how the children would get on as there was no menu - just eat what you are given, the food was excellent and a lovely example of local fare. A great start to our holiday.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our family of 4 loved absolutely everything about this small family run hotel! We were immediately welcomed upon arrival by our hosts with a cold beer and the kids jumped straight into the lovely swimming pool. Our room was simple but comfortable and very clean. Beds and pillows were great and we made use of the aircon at night. The best part about this hotel, apart from the lovely family who run it, was the dinner. It’s a must if you stay there! So much food and everything was homemade and delicious. Our kids especially loved the Lasagne. The hotel is an easy 10min walk to the entrance of the ruins and also the train station. We arranged a private car transfer through the hotel and we were met at Naples airport arrivals gate and driven straight to the hotel. Cost was €60 and totally worth it!
Cons: Nothing at all! We loved everything!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had the most welcoming stay! Gorgeous family running this accommodation. Pool was AMAZING after a day of exploring the ruins in the heat. The room was comfy and very very clean. Excellent location from the ruins. Best part about our stay was the homecooked dinner banquet. Such amazing hospitality and beautiful food served to us. There was SO MUCH food (be sure to eat a light lunch!). 100% recommend this accommodation and will be staying here next time.
Cons: Nothing at all!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: This was exactly what I expected...basic and clean but also super family friendly! Particularly when traveling with young children, where a day at Pompeii can feel like an eternity, the pool was heaven! We also met other lovely families that made it one of the most special experiences of the whole Amalfi trip! And yes, the dinner lived up to the hype!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Charming older hotel with refreshing pool and friendly staff.
Casa Tolentino - Naples - Bedroom

Overview Reviews
Located in Naples (Historical Center), Casa Tolentino is within a 15-minute walk of Piazza del Plebiscito and Royal Palace. Featured amenities include multilingual staff, luggage storage, and a library. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a really lovely place to stay, the views from the building and gardens - of the city, the bay & Vesuvius are stunning. The room was spotless, and the facilities are first class. The building itself is very interesting and is part of a monestary/church which is still shared by the fathers, who you can sometimes bump into around the place. Casa tolentino is right near the funicular centrale station which takes you right into the centre of Naples below. It is also a short walk to the Quartieri Spagnoli where we found lots of really great places to eat. I could go on (I suppose I already did?)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing staff. The Social Project that they are running is a great effort to support the community. Well done.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place was amazing. Near great district. It was perfect, I found everything I needed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was excellent - right in the middle of the city and yet a haven of peace and greenery. Breakfasts good. Bedrooms large and comfortable. Above all, the staff, all young men and women, were excellent - friendly, helpful, with very good advice on where to eat and how to get to places. They also recommended an extremely good minibus operator - we were a group of eight.
Cons: Coffee and tea machine served lukewarm drinks.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The view. The location.
Cons: No air conditioning.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Loved this sanctuary in the busy city of Naples. It has a fabulous garden to relax in and you can take your breakfast out on to the terrace which has lovely views. We had a sea view room with views across the city to Vesuvius and Capri. The staff were helpful and friendly and the building is really interesting with an ethical and social purpose too! It's great that it's being preserved and provide jobs for local people.
Cons: The drinks at breakfast were a bit disappointing as the machine didn't heat up the water enough for tea and the coffee was not as good as other places in Italy we'd been on our trip - hopefully this can be improved - even just providing a kettle would help.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff interest and attentiveness Outstanding recommendations for restaurants Organised a fascinating walking tour of the Spanish Quarter The spaciousness and historic interest of this unique property The location, the sublime views over the sea, the garden oasis
5.5 Okay
Pros: Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Room was spacious with balcony and nice gardens.
Cons: Breakfast was very poor, coffee machine didn't work for two days. Room was basic. Problems with shower. No towels changed for 3 days.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfect. You have a big and quiet garden you can relax in after a busy day in the center. The staff is friendly and helpfull.
Cons: It is an old place, you can smell the humidity. We went in summer and there was no airconditioning in our room. There was a fan, but it was hot in the night.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location, the facility and the guys who manage it are just great. They made our trip to Napoli a true experience. In addition the amazing park and monastery are very quite and relaxing, which is quite important considering the nightlife in Napoli.
Cons: Everything was great.
Relais Manfredi - Castellammare di Stabia - Building
9
9.1 Excellent (207 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Featuring free WiFi and a restaurant Relais Manfredi offers accommodation in Castellammare di Stabia.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The views were amazing. The staff very friendly and helpful especially the lady on reception
Cons: The breakfast could've had more choice
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Like most of the hotels along the coast from Naples to Salerno, parking is a problem. Relais had paid parking which was part of my hotel selection criteria. It is on the side of a mountain a little out of town. The facility was modern, clean, with great views and a good onsite restaurant. I would stay there again and recommend the hotel.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was really good, very reach and good quality food. Room had balcony so I could fully enjoy the breathtaking view. Big, clean and fresh refurbished toilet. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Cons: I didn’t like the bed. Instead of a double/king bed there were two single beds. Uncomfortable considering that there weren’t fitted sheet
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The friendly & welcoming owners
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The staff were helpful in every way. Excellent view of Mount Vesuvio
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location is excellent for the view and the proximity to a main road. The staff were friendly, very helpful and informative. The free shuttle service to the town at 10:00 with return at 19:00 was a welcome bonus. The restaurant is spacious and with a magnificent view across the bay of Naples. There was a good menu and the food was well presented. The accommodation was clean, well maintained and everything functioned as it should do.
Cons: In no way is this the fault of the hotel. It is a 25 minute brisk walk downhill, with no luggage, to the railway station (and airport coach stop). Outside of the hotel's shuttle run, a taxi can be expensive for this short distance (euro 15)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great - from the design, the service and the food to the beautiful view over the bay. We will definitely recommend Relais Manfredi.
Cons: The steep access route requires a skilled driver.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Seaview rooms have small balconies (though with no separators between rooms) that share the same vista of Versuvius, garden view rooms face a steep hillside a few metres from the window (we were booked into the garden room but offered an upgrade to a seaview room for the second night). Rooms are modern and well furnished, with mini fridges, TV and plenty of power sockets. Bathrooms are compact but have good rainfall showerheads. Staff were very helpful and spoke good English (reception and restaurant). The hotel has some underground parking, but the entranceway is very narrow so would only suit those with small cars - alternate parking is done offsite via 'valet' approach. As the hotel is pertched on a hillside, the approach road is very narrow in places, and meets the main road at an acute angle which can make the turn challenging if coming from Sorrento (West). Luckily, I was offered the chance to leave my car in the single parking space at reception! The restaurant has a broad range of menu options, at reasonable prices - we ate there both nights as the town centre is a long and steep walk away. A great choice for those looking to visit Pompeii and Herculaneum by self-drive (half the distance from Sorrento, and traffic in that direction was chaotic!)
Cons: Parking is the biggest challenge - if the staff hadn't been kind enough to allow us to use the single offroad location at reception, we'd have needed to entrust the car to them to drive to an offsite location, which would've restricted flexibilty for "get up and go" each morning (I think having a 'pretty' car won this for us, thankfully no other guests turned up in anything flashier). Eating onsite is almost mandatory, as walking to anywhere nearby would be arduous and lengthy. The shipyard does generate some noise, but didn't seem to affect us overnight.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great room with a great view across the Bay of Naples...navy dock in front but it doesn't really take from the view and the food was great good choices and great value for money
Cons: N/A
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great, friendly service. Helped with parking car. Amazing view of Vesuvius

Cons: I stayed for 04 days & noticed no change in Breakfast Menu. Also the location is pretty far from the city centre. May be good for persons travelling to Milan for business, but for tourists-I won't recommend this hotel.

Pros: The hotel was well maintained, the room was in tiptop shape and extremely clean. Everything worked fine. Extra plus for the safe deposit box which was in the room. The front desk customer service was excellent. The hotel was conveniently located for my purposes. Unfortunately I did not have time to explore Naples as much as I would have liked to.
Cons: The breakfast was fine although I would have liked to have other than just plain white bread.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location, parking, cleanliness, friendly staff
Cons: Nothing

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent Location, lovely room, staff were very helpful. We would stay again.
Cons: Breakfast could have been slightly better - more variety of cooked items and nicer bread for toast.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location was stunning. Our room was spacious, comfortable, with a beautiful view.
Cons: Not applicable.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Our room was superb, fourth floor centre of the hotel looking directly out into the Bay of Naples. Small balcony, enough to stand on to admire the view. Massive double bed, comfortable, clean with fresh linen every day. Bathroom was outstanding, toiletries supplied in keeping with a top class hotel, brilliant shower. Air-conditioning in room was exactly right for the time of year (July), temperatures when we were out were around 32-34°C with little or no breeze so if you're doing the normal Naples experiences (Vesuvius, Pompeii, Sorrento, Rome etc) you need to come into a nice cool room. Breakfast was very good, wide choice - scrambled egg, bacon and hot dog sausage? Also pastries, yogurts, cereals, cheeses, meats, cakes and surprisingly carrots and green beans! They make the very best coffee, ask for coffee with warm milk. Fantastic location, there's a lot available within around a mile but the metro gives you great access to everything else - use the the metro on via Toledo, it's about 15 mins from the hotel. We used room service - ordered club sandwiches I'd recommend them.
Cons: There was no kettle in the room and the hotel charged for bottled water which was in a minibar. Given that a six pack of water is less than €2 surely the hotel could afford to give guests a free bottle of water every day?
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was small but very well equipped! The breakfast was delicious and the manager even prepared a breakfast box for us to take on an early morning outing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable rooms
Cons: Nothing exceptional stay

Cons: No smiles anywhere in the hotel ! Hammering in the hall that lasted one hour despite 4 calls to complain... and no apologies Tiny tiny bathroom (505)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Well located hotel on waterfront, newly decorated, very comfortable rooms, helpful staff
Cons: Nothing. We both liked everything
7.7 Good
Pros: Triple was a great size for 3. They gave us a boxed breakfast to go as we left very early in the morning for a flight. Only stayed 1 night, but it was in a great location. Near lots of restaurants.
Cons: They need magnifying mirror in bathroom

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast and clean air conditioned room
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Well presented Boutique Hotel in a great location.
5.0 Okay
Cons: Breakfast could have been better. The eggs were dry. The knob on the door broke on my way out. There weren’t really many amenities. I could hear the entire road from my room. I could barely sleep with ambulances, people talking, and car horns outside my window every night. The room was very bare. The area isn’t the best. The cancelation policy is very restrictive. I was traveling for business and very sleep deprived. It exactly the best recipe for exceptional client service.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location is perfect, friendly staff, nice breakfast.
Cons: Room was a little bit small.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable Location is good
Cons: No feeding chair &cradle for baby No elevator on 2 nd floor No restaurant

Pros: Very nice hotel, everything was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpfull. Breakfast was delicious with some different touches each day. Rooms were spacious and everything worked fine.
Cons: Hotel Metro is a 45 min walk to the historical city centre. We like to have some evening walks, so this didn't bothered us, and there is a metro line going to the city centre.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great. The location was good. Room a little small but good for overnight stays.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: It is sort of "American style" motel. Everything just ground floor, parking in the garden, very convenient, nice and big pool. Friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: In general location is perfect with the view to Mt. Vesuvius right from the pool. But we expected that it is a walking distance to Pompeii ruins. Well it is right next to ruins, this is fact, but the entrance is on the other side - so it is 3,5km walk...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful pool! Delicious wine and food!
Cons: It seemed odd that we had to pay for a new pool towel rather than simply swapping the old one. We were only there for one night so it wasn’t a problem, but a little annoying we had to keep our same towels to use after we checked out or otherwise pay for new ones. Likewise, minor inconvenience, but we were unable to charge our dinner at the hotel restaurant to the room, it had to be paid for separately. Made for some confusion at checkout.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hidden gem of Pompei. Not only did they provide a great experience but when we had an accident they helped us get back on the road. The staff went above and beyond. They also accommodated our two kids during the wine tasting with a special kids menu. Thank you so much!!
Cons: The bathrooms could have better plumbing but I think it’s a country wide issue (slow draining sinks)
9.7 Excellent
Pros: The service staff was excellent. Marco & Antonio went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location fantastic, great staff and lovely winery with a very good restaurant. Pool was also a lifesaver after heat of Pompeii/Ercolano
Cons: Rooms a bit like Butlins, lack of any real charm for the price.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The pool was very good. Breakfast was included in the room rate was convenient.
Cons: No hair conditioner & no body lotion for 4 star hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Pool area, breakfast, staff all great. The hotel is situated about 10 minutes walk from central Pompeii, and 15 minutes walk to the entrance of the ruins. It is perfectly situated to explore the area.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved everything about this property! It’s a perfect base to explore Pompeii! Staff were incredible and the facilities such as the pool were luxury. We ate breakfast which was lovely and had lots to offer and we had dinner in the winery which was absolutely delicious and very reasonable pricing. We would definitely recommend this resort to everyone!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is an oasis in the middle of a rundown city very close to the ancient city of Pompei. Mount Vesuvius can be seen beautifully from the hotel pool. The hotel is surrounded by a winery with a nice restaurant, a Pony Club with horse arena and stables and a huge vegetable garden. At the end of the block on the main street is a small grocery store if you'd like to buy a snack or need sunscreen, etc. The swimming pool is huge and even has a bench on one end with air jets and a small little waterfall. Breakfast buffet is the standard fair - meats, cheeses, yogurt, fruit, cereals, eggs, bacon, pastries. Cappuccino can be made on request. Our room was huge, including a huge jacuzzi tub. The bed was comfortable and room was quiet. We had a nice little patio out front and a sitting area in the room with TV. Parking is available at the hotel.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Its an oasis. If you want to visit Pompeij (walking) Vesuvius and Naples (train) - this is the place to be. Staff is very friendly
Cons: The rooms are a bit basic - although super clean
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful reception staff. Nothing was too much trouble.
Cons: Maybe slightly closer location to Pompeii just because it was height of summer and v hot walking in and out of town.
Eurostars Excelsior - Naples - Building

8.8 Excellent (3,073 reviews)
Overview Reviews
The Excelsior Hotel is the historical luxury hotel on the seafront of Naples, facing Castel Dell'Ovo. It offers splendid rooms with panoramic views of the Gulf of Naples. The roof-garden restaurant "La Terrazza" offers an excelent cuisine with breathtaking views.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The bed was a bit hard for me but the room and bathroom were very roomy. The shower water temperature was way too hot for me. After being out and about all day in the July heat and humidity I would have liked to have a cooler shower. The hotel staff tried to adjust it but it was still too hot. Took a cool bath instead.
Cons: Beautiful terrace for dining and drinks but was closed some evenings for private events. Another terrace, Sky Terrace, is only opened when the other one is closed but there were a couple of nights when both were closed. As a paying guest I did not like having to leave the hotel for a drink or food.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Check in y check out un poco lento
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Ancient but extremely well kept to shape... All details are from legacy times. You really feel you are staying in a small palace from the mid 1900...all brass and wood works are amazing
Cons: That the lobby is not live and no service...may be it is because we are in August
7.0 Good
Pros: Extremely expensive and not worthy. Better go have breakfast a few blocks away. More then 30 euros per person.
Cons: Breakfast included.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very enjoyable stay in this hotel with an excellent rooftop restaurant/bar, large rooms and beautiful views. The location on the seaside near the centre of Naples is ideal. This hotel is really a 5 star establishment.
Cons: The only little issue is the traffic in Naples is terrible this year and you have certainly to deal with traffic jams to arrive at the hotel.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great location, elegant hotel, clean and very comfy rooms, amazing view from the rooftop plus a special bonus - The Sopranos filmed one of their chapters there :)
Cons: Not that modern
6.2 Good
Cons: They implied that breakfast was included then we got whacked for 27 a head on breakfast. Most expensive muffin I ever ate
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location, good pricing
Cons: That’s a shame that the day we arrive the rooftop was privatised for a wedding (it would have been great that the hotel let us know before)
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Sacrifice small accommodations for central location than this hotel is OK. Great breakfast buffet
Cons: Shower was really small
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was in a fantastic location. Stunning view and elegant hotel and we loved the rooftop garden.
9.7 Excellent
Cons: The bed was not comfortable and the walls were thin. A lot of noise at midnight

Pros: Great location, just off via toledo. Very close to all the shops and many restaurants. Breakfast buffet was lovely and they even had gluten free options! The breakfast was on the ninth floor with great views of Naples! Room was clean and nicely decorated and staff were very helpful. Restaurant food was nice but very limited options. I would definitely stay here again if I come back to Naples!
Cons: We booked a triple room and when we checked in, there was only one double bed and a sofa, which wasn’t made up. We had to ask reception to send someone up to make up a third bed. We then realised they had not left any pillows for the third bed! It was sorted quite quickly and they sent us some pastries for the inconvenience. However, it would have been better to arrive with the bed already made given that we booked a triple room!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely room the bed was huge, really good choice for breakfast, staff very helpful.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff were really friendly and helpful. The views from the hotel were the best - sea view and to the right Mt Vesuvius and Sorrento to the left. It is the perfect location to view Pompeii, Herculaneum (both 15 minutes away by car) , Mt Vesuvius (30-40 mins away) and Sorrento (30 mins away). We were able to park the car in a secure car park for 10 Euros a day and were able to access it when we needed to as the hotel had access to it. There are lots of restaurants along the seafront after 5 pm and the food is really lovely at the hotel and along the seafront. Breakfast was a buffet of ham, cheeses, egg and bacon and a lot more.
