Located in Veules-les-Roses, Relais Hôtelier Douce France is a 1-minute drive from Alabaster Coast and 9 minutes from Maison Henri IV. The front desk is staffed during limited hours.
Pros: Lovely old building. Up-to-date well designed bathroom . Interesting artwork on the walls.
Cons: WiFi was a bit rubbish when we were there.
Pros: Great location in beautiful village. Great breakfast. Charming hostess. Very nice room with useful kitchenette.

Pros: Located at town city with shops and restaurants right next door. Friendly and helpful staff Even the small room has equipped kitchen Small private garden for guests
Cons: The small rooms are split levels with the bed upstairs. Need to walk the steep stairs if you need to go to toilet at night. There is no place for breakfast nearby and just a pastries but no coffee. Should provide instant coffee in the room so guests can have the choice of a cheaper breakfast.
Pros: The atmosphere, the beautiful flowers, the cleanliness, and the wonderful breakfast

Pros: Beautiful old building and shrubs/ flowers beautifully tended.Charming and elegant room ( comfortable bed - excellent shower room- kitchenette). Staff very friendly and helpful. Extremely convenient location in pretty village centre and only a few minutes walk from beach. Parking right outside. Loved the gentle sound of water in courtyard and the river running past the hotel.

Cons: The room had steep stairs to the bed. The TV was downstairs and couldn't watch it easily because of the set up and restricted size of the space. There was no kettle.
Pros: Hotel is in a wonderful little village and at a perfect location. Room did not met my expectations atmospherewise. Bathroom was perfect and the bed good!
Cons: Seating area in room could have been more comfy. Watercooker and some tea bags in kitchenette would be a nice gesture. Noisy neighbours :( Room need soundproofing. Offseason little option to go out for a meal.

Pros: Fresh baquette and croissants for breakfast. Friendly and helpful owners.
Cons: The sitting area is in need of a thorough cleaning! There is thick dust on everything, even the glasses sitting there for client use.
Pros: It is quiet, i it’s own grounds, The owners were very helpful providing things for us to have a picnic in the sitting room. Tea and coffee available .
Cons: Directions to the property are difficult to see in the dark. Could have done with more tools.

Cons: Bathtub was for show only as paint was peeling inside. Other bathroom fixtures were showing their age

Pros: Excellent experience in a charming romantic france chalet with a beautiful french ambiente. We enjoyed our stay a lot and directly booked another two days to come back to this place. The owners are very symphatic and welcomed us warmly. We highly recommend this place.

Pros: The breakfast was excellent, high quality. The croissants were particularly tasty and the jams were lovely. The coffee was also high quality. The room was excellent, very clean and tidy. The hosts were amazingly informative and gracious.
Pros: The owner was very friendly and interesting to talk with. The property has lots of character and is filled with beautiful impressionist paintings created by his mother.
Pros: Lovely location and place and very nice and welcoming owners!
