Pros: Staff couldn’t do enough for us They were always ready to help Reception was excellent Food was fantastic
Cons: It rained a couple daysa
Pros: Very beautiful building, the deck off our room was great, welcome drinks/snack, laundry service
Cons: No shower curtain, no shops/restaurants nearby, smallish room
Pros: Our stay at Villa Affrodite was one of the most pleasant, stress free places that we have stayed at over Europe.I have no hesitation in recommending this establishment to all my friends and relatives. The staff went out of their way to make our stay truly memorable. The room was perfect for our needs and we found the huge bed very comfortable.Ahuge thank you to Pasqualino and his staff. We will definately be revisiting.
Cons: The stay was too short.
Pros: super location and a great team.
Cons: everything was best!!!
Pros: Everything was great and staff were exceptional
Pros: Great location, facilities and very friendly staff
Pros: The hotel staff were very accommodating. My mother has mobility issues and there was no problem within the hotel itself. The pizza at the beach bar was amazing!
Cons: The pool was closed which was unfortunate and the main reason I booked it so my mother could go swimming. The hotel has a private beach area. Although we could park close up, and the beach chairs were accessible, getting to the water was not. It meant my mother could not swim and it was 30C+ degrees! Also, the air conditioning in the room was not adjustable.
Pros: An unexpected superb hotel, very tastefully decorated, we spent one night at this lovely hotel on out way back from Sicily. We arrived fairly late in the evening to be greeted by the most welcoming general manager and staff, nothing was a problem. It was to late for dinner but they prepared a delicious platter of food and cocktails for us served in our room. The beach was close by although we didn't have time to enjoy the long stretch of unspoilt coastline, as recommended by the staff we did visit the wonderful old village of Gerace, a very interesting gem steeped with history and a wonderful old church with a super museum teaming with beautiful arts and some exquisite embroidery. Super!

Pros: Beautiful hotel with a great staff.
Pros: Excellent hosts, very welcoming and exceeded expectations. Cheeky terrace overlooking sea to kick back and relax with a glass of vino. Room was sensationally cleaned. joggers can slip in a return 5km esplanade run. Would definitely return next time i'm in town.
Pros: very friendly and helpful staff. Well equipped and spacious apartment.
Cons: beach facilities a little drab, breakfast mediocre.
Pros: The staff were fantastic, they were there to answer questions and give advise way beyond expectations, breakfast was tasty and the hotel itself was lovely and new with a terrace to sit outside in the sun and relax. The rooms were self contained with everything you could possibly need. Loved this place.
Pros: Great owner, great staff, great appartment - great place. We felt very at home. Four star hotel quality mixed with the comfort of your own fully equipped appartment. Better than any BnB. For information: The apartments on the seaside have only small balconies, but seaview and morning sun. The railway is not a problem at all, there are very few trains, at night it was very quiet (we could hear the sound of the sea). The appartments on the street side seem to have larger terraces and evening sun (while the street is quite busy).
Cons: Nothing, everything was great. The only thing to mention: noise from the neighbours may eventually be an issue for longer stays. During our last night people were arriving in the apartment next to us, and we could hear every move and understood every word.
Pros: Staff were exceptionally accommodating and professional. Property itself is lovely inside with clean, modern rooms. Decent breakfast. Very good value.
Cons: Not really anything!
Pros: The proprietor and staff really treated us as family not guests. Thank you Nancy and Pietro for all your kindness and consideration - 15/10!
Pros: The courtesy, consideration, thoughtfulness and kindness of the proprietor and staff was 15/10. A showcase for excellent service and the property itself is as good as advertised. Thank you Nancy & Pietro so very much.
Pros: The staff were fantastic - super-friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The room was spotlessly clean and very spacious and comfortable. Quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was excellent. Could not be faulted.
Pros: Excellent pension which worked out quite expensive as a single traveller Execellent staff Extremely helpful
Cons: There is not really very much to see and do here As with a lot of Italy there is a lot of rubbish on the street and in the beach
