Pros: Apparently the spa facilities were good...
Cons: It's old and needs a revamp from rooms, to the bar. Breakfast was buffet style, although I'd prefer quality over quantity.
Pros: Perfect location for what we had planned during our stay. Bedrooms are very clean and comfortable. Food is excellent.
Cons: Could have been more accommodating with providing a late check out.
Pros: Massive room and bathroom, food great and drinks good value. Very impressive place.
Cons: Nothing to dislike at all.
Pros: Lovely staff Amazing amenities lovely, big and quiet room Great gardens and surroundings
Pros: Quiet environment, great for a stop over or a relaxing retreat.
With a stay at Hostal Restaurante Galicia in Monforte de Lemos, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Torre da Homenaxe do Castelo de Lemos and Castelo de Monforte de Lemos.
Pros: Clean and spacious rooms, hostel easy to find. Warm and cosy inside. They let me keep my bicycle inside the room. There is no kitchen though.
Cons: No kitchen or even the kettle to make tea.
Pros: Our room was very spacious The beded was comfy The shower was hot Everywhere was very clean Breakfast was good quality and more than sufficient. The manager was friendly. WiFi was very fast It is very close to the train station
Pros: NOTHING AT ALL. The front door to reception was an indication of the lack of cleanliness but unfortunately it was open so I missed seeing how grubby it was. The glass in it was cracked. Unfortunately at the time of booking all hotels in the area were booked up for the dates we needed. Looking up the reviews visitor's comments stated it was clean. The room certainly was not the case. The lighting throughout the hostal was not adequate although it was in our bedroom and shower room. One of the winding handles for one of the shutters came away in my hand every time I used it. The plate of the winder itself was working itself away from the wall each time I used it. The chrome in the shower and sink were dull and water stained. There was dust on and an old cobweb hanging from a television cable. The sheets and bedspread had stains. I cannot go on. I feel sick just writing about it. We had to stay there three nights before one of the hotels we initially wanted was available. The only good thing I can say was the receptionist, when he was there, was very polite. I felt too embarrassed to mention how unhappy we were. We just took it on the chin. However this experience has certainly not filled me with confidence and I no longer read hotel reviews.
Cons: Everything. I was very upset that the reviews were inaccurate.
Pros: Cleanliness and comfort.
Pros: Very friendly staff and location is not far from the Camino Invierno.
Cons: To bad the restaurant was not open on a Sunday.

Pros: Very good breakfast.
Cons: The price was too high compared with other hotels with the same comfort.
Pros: Beautiful building located on top of the hill, great views, large rooms. Excellent breakfast too.
Cons: Everything was really fine and interesting. There could be some more plugsockets and some renewals would be great, but overall fantastic.
Pros: nice location oustanding view
Pros: Historical building ,amazing view ,good breakfast and dinner ,interior is beautiful.
Pros: Fantastic setting above the town . We arrived by car and there was plenty of free parking outside. The parador is set in a historic building and the room was a decent size and well equipped. We used the restaurant both nights there and had very good meals served by friendly and helpful staff. We used the hotel as a base to explore the surrounding area in particular the Sil Canyon which is worth a visit .
Cons: Not an issue for the hotel as such but it is a very steep walk in to the town (30 mins or so) and the centre is not particularly engaging.
Pros: The views were great and the swimming pool was a real bonus. The main building was beautiful.
Cons: We were in the modern annexe, which was nice, and the rooms were very comfortable, but a bit disappointing compared to the old part. We were also right next to the pool, so it was a bit disconcerting opening the curtains to find people in bikinis next to the window!
Pros: The bed

Pros: Great helpful and friendly staff. Nothing too much trouble. Nice quiet rooms. Good size.
Cons: Room lighting was too complicated with bathroom lights going off after a period, regardless of whether you were still in there.
Pros: Centrally located, modern design, huge room/bathroom, very clean. Staff was so friendly - front desk went out of her way to recommend a restaurant and make a reservation for me.
Pros: The suite is amazing.
Cons: No tea or coffee making facilities available in the room.
Pros: Reception staff (at least on the first evening) were superb. The rooms are newly refurbished and of a very good size. Air conditioning works very well.
Cons: Beds had a horrible plastic cover under the top sheet. The breakfast was a little chaotic. The car park was challenging...
Pros: Everything. Bathroom was exceptional.

Pros: The lady that welcomed us was nice. The facility had a lift.

Pros: Very close to the train station. Staff were very helpful
Pros: Large, clean, comfortable room in great location. Near the train station. Best bar downstairs, with great tapas.
Cons: A little more communication at check in and about camino services would have been helpful, as this is the off season.
Pros: Nice large room
Cons: No heating till late. Freezing. Nobody to meet us.
Pros: Get what you pay for here. No reception, check in is at the shop next door. But there is no sign/ anything telling you that. Small rooms, shared bathroom has a lock that you can only lock with a key from the inside. So if someone didn’t know you were in there they could use their key and walk in on you. But for a cheap price it’s a decent room and bed to lay your head on.
Cons: Heat only came on 6pm.
Pros: Close to train station and to the Camino de Peregrinos. Clean, bright, lovely lady
Pros: good location!
Pros: The convenience of the location
Cons: Heating Could have been better
